The American Ideal
Grand Banks Yachts is a popular American manufacturer from Seattle. Grand Banks designs are widely acknowledged in yachting business. For the first few years of operation, it was building wooden yachts. In 1973, the company opened a new yard in Singapore and began using fiberglass in boat manufacturing. The Grand Banks yachts became so popular that other companies began copying the GB designs. However, they failed to provide the same high level of quality that Grand Banks have been taking so much pride in.
With each yacht series, Grand Banks is trying to find an ideal and combine it with new equipment, skilled handwork and the best construction technique. This is the reason why Grand Banks yachts have become so symbolic around the world, and up to this day match the highest quality standards. The company has earned its popularity not only in the States, but also on Asian and European markets.
