Sea Metri V is a 2017 Amer Yachts 94’, a luxury motor yacht crafted by the Permare Shipyard in San Remo, Italy. Conceived by Fernando Amerio and his family—esteemed for their deep know-how and devotion to the sea—Amer Yachts embodies bespoke Italian artistry. With 40 years of artisanal boatbuilding and more than 80 custom-built yachts to their credit, the yard seamlessly marries heritage with innovation.

Designed with uncompromising attention to achieve efficient cruising, Sea Metri V leverages advanced, weight-saving construction and finely tuned engineering for perfect balance. Her light 64‑ton planing hull, paired with triple, proven Volvo Penta D13‑900 IPS 1200 pod drives, delivers, per the builder, roughly 20% greater efficiency than comparable production yachts of similar length using larger engines and traditional shafts. She rewards the helmsman with superb maneuverability, sharp steering response, excellent stability, and impressively low noise and vibration. Cruising comfortably at 20 knots while burning about 100 gallons per hour, she reaches approximately 26 knots at around 135 gallons per hour. Engine hours are low at roughly 780, and the yacht has been conscientiously maintained. Sea Metri V will be situated in an FTZ slip for easy viewing access.

Walkthrough

Boarding Sea Metri V is effortless, whether via her teak-covered hydraulic swim/launch platform, her teak-covered stern passerelle, or the six-step MarQuipt ladder at the starboard side door. Aft, the tender garage houses a 12’ Rinieri inflatable tender powered by a 50 HP Suzuki four-stroke outboard. The aft cockpit invites relaxation with a sunbed and a dinette, served by a stairway leading to the flybridge and complemented by an engine control station to starboard. Access to the engine room is to port just forward of the aft deck. Teak continues along the side decks up to and including the bow, where generous sun pads and storage boxes await.

Entering the salon, a day head sits to starboard, while to port a refrigerator and icemaker stand ready. Forward, opposing L-shaped sofas frame coffee tables, and to starboard a stairwell descends to the two guest staterooms and the full-beam master. Further forward, dining for eight guests is paired with a 55” Samsung TV.

Forward of the dining area, the galley to starboard is equipped with Miele appliances. Beyond, the wheelhouse places the helm to port, with a dinette and a Samsung TV to starboard.

Below deck forward and aft is a full-beam guest cabin with opposing full-size beds. Forward of the guest stateroom, the captain’s stateroom lies to port and the crew quarters to starboard with over-and-under bunks.

Above, the flybridge is crowned by a radar-arch style hardtop with a retractable black fabric sunroof. Centerline forward, the helm is flanked by opposing seating to port and starboard. Aft of the helm to port, a cabinet integrates a grill, an induction cooktop, storage, and a refrigerator below, while to starboard a companion cabinet provides a cutting board, sink, and Volvo control station with an ice maker, dishwasher, and storage below. An advanced suite of electronics elevates navigation and entertainment, beginning with a Raymarine depthsounder; two 19-inch Raymarine GS195 plotters at the helm complemented by a 12-inch ES127 on the flybridge; a 4 kW Raymarine radar; and a Volvo/Garmin integrated autopilot, all supported by a Raymarine log speedometer, Raymarine GPS mirroring the GS195 at the helm and ES127 on the flybridge, compasses at both helm and flybridge, a Raymarine 260 VHF at each station, and Raymarine wind speed and direction instrumentation. Deck, swim platform, and tender garage

Crafted for seamless enjoyment on the water, the teak-covered hydraulic swim platform with integrated swim ladder lowers effortlessly, complemented by a hydraulic passerelle to starboard for graceful boarding. A tender garage with hydraulic door secures the twelve-foot Rinieri inflatable tender powered by a 50 HP Suzuki four-stroke outboard, keeping the stern clear for leisure. Teak-covered steps ascend to the teak-clad aft deck, where inviting sun pads aft and a teak dining table with seating for five guests create an elegant open-air retreat. Port and starboard stern winches (Italwinch) and fresh water are conveniently at hand, with compartments thoughtfully integrated for orderly stowage. Main salon/dining

Wheelhouse

A dedicated side door provides effortless entry and exit to the aft side deck, leading into a finely appointed wheelhouse where a crew dinette to starboard pairs with a Samsung TV for relaxed breaks between passages. The captain’s helm to port presents a full console and a custom Besenzoni seat, fronting two Raymarine GS195 nineteen-inch multifunction displays that anchor an intuitive navigation suite. Engine management is precise and reassuring with a Volvo Penta port and starboard engine start/stop display, a Volvo Penta center engine start/stop display, and a dedicated Volvo Penta screen, while a Raymarine VHF 260E ensures crisp communications. Command inputs fall naturally to hand at the helm seat, with Volvo controls, a Raymarine control, a Volvo joystick, and a bow thruster delivering confident maneuverability. Guest staterooms (port and starboard)

Captain & crew cabins

To port, the captain’s cabin features a twin bunk, a nightstand, and a hanging closet, and is equipped with a 24" Samsung TV and a Raymarine A65 display. To starboard, the crew cabin offers over/under bunks with a nightstand and closet, complemented by a Pioneer tuner and speakers and a Raymarine A65 display. Entertaining is elevated with a portside unit featuring an electric grill, stainless induction cooktop, cutting board, dedicated storage below, and an Isotherm refrigerator, while to starboard a complementary module provides a cutting board, stainless sink, Volvo control and joystick, and below an icemaker, dishwasher, and additional storage. Social zones include two teak dining tables and an L-shaped seating area to port, complemented by U-shaped seating aft to port with a teak table and a lounge to starboard, and convenient access provided by a stairwell to the cockpit to starboard. For added safety and readiness, two eight-man life rafts (Eurovinil) are mounted to the port and starboard rails, and overhead a radar arch hardtop with a retracting canvas sunroof and antenna mast crowns this versatile open-air deck.

Engine room, mechanical & electrical equipment

Driven by triple Volvo Penta D13-900 IPS1200 engines with pod drives, this yacht pairs effortless agility with robust reliability, complemented by two Kohler 28 KW generators to deliver abundant onboard power. Ride comfort is assured by a Seakeeper 16 stabilization system, while precise low-speed control comes from a Max Power CT325 electric bow thruster. Extended autonomy is enhanced by an Idromar MC3JS watermaker producing 220 litres per hour, and dependable anchoring is handled by a Verricello Italwinch anchor winch with two Italwinch stern line winches to port and starboard.

Safety and serviceability are built in with central bilge and fire pumps, manual bilge and diesel pumps, and five Rule 2000 submersible bilge pumps, supported by Gianneschi sewage and grey water discharge pumps and a Marco oil gear pump. Electrical systems are optimized through Mastervolt Chargemaster battery chargers serving two service banks, three engine banks, one generator, one bow thruster, and one radio, with Mas Sine inverters dedicated to the galley refrigerator and the audio-video system.
