Expansive, well-considered decks invite both quiet relaxation and sophisticated entertaining, while her finely judged proportions deliver poise and comfort whether at anchor or underway. With impressive volume for a 40 metre Benetti superyacht and zero-speed stabilisers enhancing the experience, she exudes the hallmarks of a pedigree build.
Accommodating up to 12 + 1 guests in six cabins, ALEGRE offers remarkable flexibility. The full-beam Owner’s suite on the main deck features a private office and a generous walk-in wardrobe, and the remaining guest cabins are arranged to suit family cruising or hosting friends with ease. Detailed Description
Detailed description
ALEGRE is a full displacement motor yacht from the Benetti Classic Supreme 132 series, hull number BS011, delivered in 2019 and refit in 2023, with exterior lines by Stefano Righini Design and naval architecture and interiors by Benetti. Built to RINA Commercial class with a GRP hull and superstructure over teak decks, she carries the Cayman Islands flag, call sign ZGRJ4, and presents a gross tonnage of 346 and a net tonnage of 103 with an approximate displacement of 281 tons. Power comes from two MTU diesel engines rated at 1,081 kW (1,450 Hp) each, supported by a capable crew complement of up to eight.
Her dimensions underscore generous volume and well-balanced proportions, with a length overall of 40.24 m (132 feet 0 inches), a length at waterline of 33.51 m (109 feet 11 inches), a beam of 8.18 m (26 feet 10 inches), and a maximum draft of 2.10 m (6 feet 11 inches). Underway she reaches a maximum speed of 14.00 knots and offers a serene 11.00-knot cruising speed, delivering a range of 3,400 nautical miles. Fuel consumption is finely managed at 240 litres per hour (63 US gallons) at 12 knots, 180 litres per hour (48 US gallons) at 11.00 knots, and 100 litres per hour (26 US gallons) at 10 knots.
Onboard capacities are optimized for extended cruising, accommodating twelve plus one guests in six cabins and a professional crew of eight in four cabins. Fuel capacity is 45,000 litres (11,888 US gallons), fresh water is 7,200 litres (1,902 US gallons), lube oil is 440 litres (116 US gallons), dirty oil is 440 litres (116 US gallons), and black water is 4,000 litres (1,057 US gallons).
The accommodation layout is tailored for privacy and flexibility. A full-beam master cabin graces the main deck, appointed with an owner’s office, a walk-in wardrobe, and a private bathroom. Below, the guest area comprises three double cabins and two twin cabins, with one twin featuring one Pullman berth, ensuring versatile sleeping arrangements across the suite of six guest cabins.
A reliable technical platform underpins her smooth, quiet operation. The twin MTU diesels are complemented by two Kohler generators rated at 80 kW (107 Hp) each; engine hours stand at 2,400 hours for port and 2,400 hours for starboard as of 14th May 2026, while generator hours read 7,500 hours for port as of 14th May 2026 and 7,500 hours for starboard as of 14th April 2026. At-rest and seakeeping comfort is enhanced by two CMC Marine Stabilis Electra SE 120.70.4 J4 stabilisers. Climate control is provided by three MAR-IX AIV40DCI-HR chiller units. Manoeuvrability comes courtesy of a CMC Marine HQLA 160S bowthruster and a Rexroth A2FM56/61W-VABO20 stern thruster, with shaft-drive propulsion turning five-blade propellers on a steering system served by two BSC systems and a 35-degree rudder angle. Power management and distribution are handled by a Cantalupi electric system with an ASea Power AC54VHES-3 Master shore-power converter, deep-cycle gel batteries, and Mastervolt Mass Charger units 24/75, 24/50-2, 24/50-2, and 24/50-3. Freshwater autonomy is secured by an Idromar Dositec WMF watermaker and an Octo Marine softener, while black water is treated through a Hamann AEB2N system. Fuel quality control is assured by Alfa Laval fuel centrifuge and fuel separator units, and drive integrity is supported by a ZF Marine Transmission ZF3351 gearbox set.
The bridge is equipped with a Team Italia integrated navigation system anchored by a Wärtsilä full ECDIS suite with two 27-inch screens installed in 2023. Radar capability spans one Furuno X-Band and one Furuno S-Band unit, with position and situational inputs from a Furuno GPS, a Furuno NX-700 NAVTEX, a Furuno log, Furuno wind instruments, a Sperry Marine Navigat 100 gyro compass, and a Northrop Grumman 284 magnetic compass. Charting is supported by two Transas 4000 ECDIS processors and one TimeZero system, while course-keeping is entrusted to a Team Italia APTK1 automatic pilot. Depth is read by a B&G echo sounder, situational awareness at night is aided by Team Italia searchlights and a FLIR thermal camera, and collision avoidance and identification are handled by a Furuno FA-170 AIS.
Communications are robust and global, featuring Starlink Maritime & RV for SATCOM, VSAT with 5G capability, a Furuno HS-2003 VHF, a Furuno FS-2575C SSB, a Furuno FM-8900S loudhailer, and a Vingtor-Stentofon VSP-211-L intercom.
On deck, anchoring and boarding systems are engineered for reliability and guest comfort. Ground tackle includes two single-speed anchor windlasses serving two PTW stockless anchors of 220 kg each, with chains measured at four and a half shackles. A Mor Saverio telescopic three-stage passerelle offers a length of 5.50 m and a walking width of 500 mm, complemented by an eight-step Marquipt sea stair for side boarding. Leisure features include an Atlas pool with a dedicated holding tank, a hydraulic swimming platform door that opens downward for effortless access to the sea, and a sundeck retractable awning providing shade when desired.
The galley is specified to professional standards with Miele 90 cm induction hobs beneath a Miele angled stainless-steel commercial-style hood, a Miele 90 cm electric oven, a Miele microwave, and a Miele dishwasher, all paired with a double stainless-steel sink. Cold storage is abundant with four Frigomar fridge/freezers—serviced in 2026 with a new freezer added in 2025—and six mini fridges distributed across the Main Salon, Skylounge, Bridge Deck aft, guest lobby, master cabin, and sundeck. A barbecue is conveniently placed on the sundeck, and refreshments are supported by three ice makers located on the sundeck, Bridge Deck aft, and in the Crew Mess. Laundry operations are handled by two Miele commercial washing machines and two Miele commercial dryers.
Safety and security protocols are comprehensive, with all LSA serviced annually, four CCTV cameras monitoring key zones, and fire-fighting suits ready for deployment. Tenders and toys complete the picture of fun and adventure, led by one Castoldi Jet Tender 16 and an array of watersports equipment that includes two Kawasaki STX-15F three-person units, two Seabob F5 S from 2022, four stand-up paddleboards, and one Fliteboard foil board, alongside fishing and snorkelling equipment. For diving, a Bauer dive compressor is onboard together with one set of diving gear requiring servicing.
Her maintenance history reflects diligent stewardship and a proactive approach to yacht management. In 2026 she completed an annual RINA Class inspection, with HVAC, chiller, and refrigeration works performed by Benetti, and service to chiller units, air-handling units, and the galley freezer. Navigation and ECDIS systems were serviced; fresh water treatment and bacterial analysis were carried out; the watermaker received its 2,000-hour service; and annual servicing was completed for life rafts, LSA, and FFE. A new 24V portable watermaker was installed and serviced; a new shore fire connection flange and a new 110V converter were added; and load testing and access track examinations were conducted for hanging rails, passerelles, and the tender cradle, with Ronstan hanging rails reinstalled.
