Overview

Purpose-built for voyaging in comfort and style, the Elan GT5 offers a choice of two- or three-cabin layouts built around a revolutionary inverted saloon arrangement: the galley is set forward while the saloon sits amidships, maximizing the yacht’s full beam for a remarkable sense of volume and balance. Both configurations can be specified with one or two head compartments. A separate shower comes standard in the two-cabin version and is available as an option with the three-cabin setup. An optional second forward head is offered on both versions, transforming the owner’s cabin into a true en-suite retreat.

At the helm, tailor your electronics suite to your navigation style with your preferred selection of Raymarine, Garmin or B&G instruments. From chartplotters and autopilot to VHF, AIS and multifunction displays, every component can be specified and integrated to deliver a seamless, intuitive command center.

The electrical system is wired to US power requirements, with 30 Amp shore-power plugs and cords provided as standard. Options include a generator, inverters and a dedicated battery charger, while a custom solar-panel battery maintenance solution can be configured for energy autonomy at anchor. Under sail, the GT5 can be equipped with One Sails Dacron Tri Cut Radial with full battens, complemented by a genoa featuring UV foam on the luff. Power comes standard from a 45 HP Yanmar with saildrive and a three-blade propeller. For added thrust, an optional Yanmar 4JH57 saildrive with a three-blade prop is available. Those pursuing silent, low-maintenance propulsion can opt for Oceanvolt electric power, choosing either a single 15 kW Oceanvolt system or a twin 10 kW Oceanvolt configuration, each engineered for smooth, efficient motoring and smart energy regeneration under sail.
