Overview

The 2026 Filippetti S55 is a thrilling union of pace, poise, and Italian artistry, created for owners who prize precision, aesthetics, and the visceral rush of the sea. Conceived with Davide Cipriani of Centrostiledesign, this brand-new luxury motor yacht is a refined express cruiser and sport yacht that serves up an extraordinary on‑water experience, whether carving through open water at 38 knots or slipping along the shoreline for a golden-hour escape.

Inside, the main salon blurs the boundaries between deck and interior with sweeping panes of glass and a hydraulic drop-down aft window that welcomes ocean breezes and daylight in equal measure. The open-concept arrangement is tailored for sociable cruising, offering a generous lounge where guests can unwind in absolute ease. Meticulous furnishings and sophisticated finishes showcase Filippetti’s hallmark craftsmanship, ensuring every touchpoint elevates both visual harmony and everyday comfort.

Below, the S55 presents three impeccably finished cabins that comfortably host up to six guests. The full-beam owner’s suite is a serene sanctuary with a plush queen berth, abundant wardrobe space, and a private ensuite. Forward, the VIP cabin mirrors this elegance with a queen berth and chic detailing, while the twin-berth guest cabin delivers versatile accommodations for family or friends. Premium materials, tactile textures, and gentle, ambient lighting combine to create an inviting, boutique-hotel ambiance throughout.

On deck, the S55’s taut profile and deep‑V hull telegraph her performance yacht pedigree, while her convivial outdoor zones affirm her luxury cruiser spirit. The aft cockpit sets the stage for alfresco dining and leisurely afternoons with U‑shaped seating, a generous sun pad, and an optional barbecue and ice maker for effortless hosting. A second sun pad on the foredeck becomes a favorite perch for soaking up wide‑angle sea views between anchorages.

At the helm, a comprehensive Garmin navigation suite and optional IPS joystick controls inspire confidence with fingertip accuracy and graceful low-speed maneuvering. Owners seeking heightened adrenaline can opt for MAN V8 1200 hp engines paired with Arneson surface drives, unleashing a 46.5‑knot top end and an effortless 40‑knot cruise. Further enhancements such as a Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilizer, electric bow and stern thrusters, and a dynamic positioning system underscore the S55’s advanced, sport-cruiser capability and reassuring stability.

Every facet of the 2026 Filippetti S55 is tuned for an exhilarating yet sophisticated journey, weaving cutting-edge technology with unmistakable Italian design. Whether entertaining in port, stealing away for a long weekend, or slicing across blue horizons at speed, this hardtop express cruiser delivers a rare equilibrium of luxury and performance.

Detailed Description

Technical specifications

Commanding proportions meet agile performance with a length overall of 17.38 meters (57.2 feet) and a length at waterline of 12.90 meters (42.4 feet), set across a confident beam of 4.64 meters (15.3 feet). The planing hull underpins her dynamic character, while draft varies by propulsion: in Configuration A she draws 1.60 meters (5.3 feet), and in Configuration B—equipped with the optional two MAN V8 1200s with surface drives—she draws just 1.20 meters (3.11 feet).

Propulsion options include two Volvo Penta IPS 1200s in Configuration A or, optionally, two MAN V8 1200s with surface drives in Configuration B. Performance is emphatic, with a maximum speed of 38 knots and a cruising speed of 32 knots in Configuration A, rising to 46.5 knots and 40 knots respectively in Configuration B.

Her displacement is 24 tons (29 tons fully laden), supported by generous tankage with a fuel capacity of 2,800 liters (739 US gallons) and a freshwater capacity of 600 liters (158 US gallons). Electrical autonomy is ensured by one 11 kW generator.

The interior plan offers up to three cabins served by two heads, with an optional crew cabin to tailor the yacht for private or professional use. Design pedigree shines throughout, credited to Filippetti Yachts and Davide Cipriani.

Additional options and upgrades

Specified with a comprehensive suite of enhancements, this yacht features a stainless-steel anchor in lieu of the standard unit and an additional pair of large 240 millimeter cleats fitted to the raise-and-lower swim platform. Access and alfresco living are elevated by the hydraulic hideaway teak passerelle, a hydraulically assisted salon-to-cockpit door that glides up and down, a hydraulic swimming platform with lift capability—available exclusively on the IPS version—and teak laid to the swim platform and the steps leading to the cockpit. The salon transforms effortlessly with a hi-low table and dedicated cushion converting to a sofa bed, while comfort in every climate is ensured by the Super Tropical air-conditioning upgrade delivering 60,000 BTU, supported by a generator upgrade sized for both Super Tropical A/C and the Seakeeper system.

Maneuvering precision comes from electric bow and stern thrusters, the IPS maneuvering joystick, autopilot as required with the IPS joystick, and a dynamic positioning system. At sea, ride quality is refined by a Seakeeper 6 gyroscopic stabilizer. Daily operations are simplified by an engine oil-change system, a tender launching and recovery system, a Glendinning Cablemaster, predisposition for a watermaker with salt-water, fresh-water, and electrical provisions, and a hand shower within the foredeck locker.

At the helm, navigation is upgraded to two sixteen-inch displays in place of the standard twelve-inch units, complemented by an AIS system. An inverter rated at 3,000 W, 220 V, 24 V expands onboard power flexibility. Entertainment and ambiance are elevated by a forty-inch TV in the main salon rising on an electric lift, an additional audio zone for the bow, dimmer-controlled overhead interior lighting, upgraded Venetian blinds in the cabins, and salon roll curtains. Culinary and convenience features include a barbecue and ice maker neatly integrated into the aft cockpit cabinet, a dishwasher in the galley, and a washer-dryer combo unit in the master cabin.

Protective covers for external sun pads, sofas, and the table, as well as tailored covers for the front and side windows, preserve finishes when not in use, while a GRP sliding manual awning shades the aft cockpit. Completing the specification, the hull and superstructure are finished in a striking metallic color using Awl Craft®.

Hull and deck equipment

Purposefully appointed from stem to stern, the yacht features a signal mast and a fore hatch, while the ground tackle is anchored by a 30 kg galvanized anchor with lock coupled to a galvanized anchor chain with a Ø 10 mm link size measuring 75 mt – 246 ft, all managed by a powerful 1500 W windlass with remote control and assisted by a 700 W capstan with foot control. An electrical hardtop in the salon pairs with electrical side-opening windows to bathe the interior in fresh air and light, and a hydraulic garage door streamlines tender and gear access. Navigation is supported by a GPS antenna, a VHF antenna, and crisp LED navigation lights.

Outdoor living is elevated by external sofa and sun pad cushions covered with water-resistant fabric, a sliding backrest for the aft sunpad, and cockpit furniture with a convenient sink. At the swim platform, a hand shower and a manual bathing ladder make water access effortless. Endurance and autonomy come courtesy of GRP tanks, including a GRP fuel tank of 2,800 lt (739 US Gal), a GRP fresh water tank of 600 lt (158 US Gal), a GRP black water tank of 400 lt (105 US Gal), and a GRP grey water tank of 200 lt (52 US Gal).

Helm station

Command is effortless at the helm, where USB sockets keep devices charged, start/stop switches for the main engines sit within easy reach, and a Mastervolt C‑Zone display provides comprehensive system monitoring. Navigation and engine data are presented on two twelve‑inch Garmin touch screens, while a dedicated five‑inch display shows rudder angle, trim tabs, and drives on the surface drive version only. A seven‑inch display delivers main engine information on the surface drive version only, and confidence is further assured by a magnetic compass and smooth, responsive throttle controls.

Systems

A robust 48,000 BTU air conditioning system maintains an ideal onboard climate, while Mastervolt AGM batteries provide dependable power for the service circuits, main engines, and generator. Reliable electricity underway and at anchor is delivered by an 11 kW generator, and dedicated battery chargers keep the service, main engine, and generator batteries in optimal condition.

Audio video system

Designed for effortless entertainment throughout, the system delivers Fusion precision in every space. On the Main Deck External, two Fusion loudspeakers are driven by one Fusion amplifier and deepened by one Fusion subwoofer. In the Salon, two Fusion loudspeakers pair with one Fusion amplifier and one Fusion subwoofer for richly layered sound, while the Galley benefits from two Fusion loudspeakers for clear, balanced audio. The Master Cabin features one 40-inch LED Smart TV, one Fusion radio, and two Fusion loudspeakers, creating a private sanctuary for viewing and listening. The VIP Cabin is equipped with one 32-inch LED Smart TV, one Fusion radio, and two Fusion loudspeakers, and the Guest Cabin offers one Fusion radio with two Fusion loudspeakers for personalized onboard enjoyment.

Appliances

The galley is appointed with a Miele full-height refrigerator and freezer combination, an efficient extraction fan, a Miele induction hob with four burners, and a Bosch microwave, while the salon benefits from a convenient two-drawer fridge to streamline entertaining.

About Filippetti Yachts

His journey began in 1967, when he entered the shipyards of Fano (Pesaro-Urbino), first as an apprentice and then as a shipwright, honing the craft that would define his career. After gaining forty years of experience in the yachting industry, he created a brand-new range whose core distinctive features are design, comfort, and high performance. In 2009, with his children Martina and Giovanni leading the company, the Filippetti Yacht brand was officially established.
