Overview
M/Y LADY LUCY is an impeccably kept pedigree luxury motor yacht, enjoyed solely as a private vessel since her 2001 launch. Upgrades have been a constant, with substantial refits in 2018, 2020 and 2024 that endowed her with the comforts, systems and sheen of a far newer superyacht. The 2018 program introduced a lift serving the accommodation and sundeck and brought a comprehensive refresh of the interior ambiance. This four-deck superyacht exudes a contemporary feel.
Delivered in 2001 to ABS class, LADY LUCY showcases a dramatic Art Deco-inspired interior. The main salon’s full-height glazing, high-gloss joinery and mirrored highlights, plush carpets, and bespoke Deco furnishings pair with vibrant hues, lacquered surfaces and gilded details to create a distinctive, haute-luxe aesthetic. The effect is glamorous yet inviting.
Up to eight guests are welcomed in four cabins: a spacious main-deck owner’s suite, a full-beam VIP, plus a twin and a queen on the lower deck, each appointed with a large ensuite and abundant natural light. Her elevator links all four decks for effortless movement throughout.
Propulsion is by twin CAT 3412C diesels, delivering a maximum speed of 12.3 knots and an economical 10-knot cruise, with ocean-going range of 3,500 nautical miles for assured passagemaking. Naiad zero-speed stabilizers ensure comfort both underway and at anchor, while twin 65 kW Northern Lights gensets enable prolonged time on the hook.
She carries up to seven crew, including a captain’s cabin located within the lower-deck crew area, ensuring discreet, attentive service for guests.
Always privately owned and meticulously serviced, with continuous ABS classification, low engine hours and comprehensive records, she is offered in outstanding condition and ready for immediate cruising.
Detailed Description
2026 refit
In 2026, the yacht benefited from a meticulous refit that sharpened performance, bolstered safety, and modernised communications. The hull and running gear received comprehensive maintenance of both propeller shafts and rudders, non-destructive testing of the main propellers, the application of new hull antifouling, and Prop Speed coating applied to the underwater running gear. Safety standards were elevated through the full servicing of life-saving appliances and the completion of the annual radio survey with associated troubleshooting. Electronics and communications were refined as the navigation-equipment networks were reviewed, troubleshot, and optimised, and Starlink satellite connectivity was installed.
2022 refit
Undertaken with shipyard-level thoroughness, the 2022 refit—augmented by subsequent works through August 2024—refined every facet of the yacht’s presentation and performance. Hull and deck care began with an Annual ABS Classification Survey completed in August 2024. The teak decks were meticulously serviced, the upper deck sika flex replaced and the decks sanded; the bow area received a new teak deck with margin boards refitted. On the Sun Deck, a new misting system and a new sunbed were fitted, while in the garage a new engineer’s cabin was installed. The transom door was removed, repaired and serviced; new teak was laid inside and out and the door was repainted inside and out. Interior carpentry works were carried out alongside paint blister repair works, additional paint repairs and varnish works.
Mechanically, both main engines received a complete service, as did both generators, which also benefited from two new exhaust boxes and new alternators. All engine gauges were updated or replaced as required. The air conditioning system underwent a major refit with eight new compressors installed, complemented by two new Sterling bilge and fire pumps. Exhaust pipes were replaced, with associated welding and fabrication works completed.
Electrically, Heesen attended on board to service and update the PLC Monitoring and Alarm System, and a PLC Monitoring and Alarm System panel was fitted in the engineer’s cabin. Air conditioning controllers were replaced as needed. Navigation electronics were modernized with the Raymarine chart plotter and charts upgraded to Lighthouse v3, the MaxSea chart plotter upgraded with Time Zero Navigator, and a Lars Thrane LT 500 digital compass installed and integrated with the CPlath Auto.
In the pilot domain, the Sperry Marine Navigat X gyro compass gyrosphere was serviced and the bridge navigation instruments and screens were upgraded. Interior lighting repairs were completed, including LED drivers and UPS units, and the elevator was serviced.
Safety systems were comprehensively renewed: life rafts, life jackets and all LSA safety equipment were updated and re-certified; all fire-fighting equipment was updated and re-certified; the engine room fixed CO2 fire fighting system was serviced and re-certified; the TYCO fire alarms system was serviced and re-certified; and ABS annual re-classification was secured.
