Overview
Trades for a premium sportfishing yacht will be entertained, with financing available. Platinum CAT engine warranties remain active through 1-19-2028. The Horizon RP120 luxury motor yacht showcases a refined, streamlined silhouette by U.S. stylist JC Espinosa set atop Horizon’s proven, low-resistance hull, delivering outstanding seakeeping and a smooth ride underway. Celebrated Italian designer Luca Dini has composed a contemporary, sophisticated ambience within; while distinctly European in flair, the RP120 is equally focused on comfort and practicality. Her 26’2” beam enables a highly efficient five-cabin arrangement, all en suite—including an on-deck owner’s suite—complemented by crew accommodations aft of the engines. With a 6' draft, this 122' raised-pilothouse superyacht is ideal for extended Bahamas cruising, where the tender garage and hydraulic swim platform transform days at anchor into effortless hours of leisure and play.
Detailed Description
Interior design
Famed Italian interior designer Luca Dini has crafted a contemporary and elegant ambiance for the new Horizon RP120, where a strong European influence meets a clear emphasis on comfort and usability. Customized design details are conceived to complement an open layout that takes full advantage of the spacious beam, encouraging effortless flow and relaxed living. As a unifying signature, Dini selected breeze oak as the RP120’s main wood throughout; this light, neutral, gray‑toned species, with its textured surface, evokes a modern beach house surrounded by sand and sea and imbues every space with a sense of lightness and tranquility throughout the yacht.
Pilothouse
The pilothouse is appointed in complementary light and dark oak, anchored by a panoramic dashboard that presents every system and control needed to manage and monitor this RP120’s capabilities, including the Boening monitoring system, Garmin navigation, satellite TV systems, and Wi‑Fi wireless network environments. A stepped overhead increases headroom, while a dual L‑shaped seating area invites owners and guests to relax and observe the action while underway.
On-deck master stateroom
From the dining room, a starboard-side passageway leads forward through the main-deck foyer to the on-deck master, where a split-level design wows with breathtaking views and abundant natural light streaming from the upper level. A king-sized bed and a mirror-embedded LCD TV anchor the suite, while soft furnishings and accessories in light, neutral gray-toned wood, accented with hints of green and metallic tones, infuse the bedroom with contemporary elegance. On the lower level, the master en suite head features striking emerald green marble across the floor and walls and is fitted with two sinks, a Jacuzzi, a shower, and a tub.
Guest staterooms
On the lower deck, the crew area is positioned aft of the engine room, while four en suite guest cabins are arranged forward. Each stateroom is beautifully appointed in a natural, cohesive color palette. The mirrored VIP staterooms, finished in light, neutral gray-toned wood, feature frosted glass sliding doors that open to the en suite’s sink and mirror, enhancing the sense of spaciousness. Mirrored twin staterooms, respectively styled in blue and in green décor themes, are situated forward of the main staircase.
Main deck
Bathed in natural light from expansive windows, the main salon greets guests with a bar area in the aft foyer, its sculptural, three-dimensional form dramatically defined by a custom overhead lighting installation comprised of small, oxidized metal pipes. Just forward, a serene lounging area invites relaxation, complemented by a 65-inch lifting TV and a home theater system, while a conveniently positioned day head to port ensures effortless access from the aft deck.
Moving forward, the formal dining area, highlighted by a mirrored bulkhead wall with thin wood inlays, accommodates ten guests in a Zen-like atmosphere. Electric sliding doors to port and starboard, exquisitely finished with small wooden slabs on a lacquer surface, reveal a pleasant chiaroscuro effect under artfully placed spotlights. Built-in cabinets flanking the dining table to port and starboard feature marble panels, bringing a lovely stone texture to this elegant area.
Forward to port, the fully equipped galley showcases dual light- and dark-toned counter surfaces, two refrigerators and freezers, and plenty of storage for provisions during a long voyage. In the entryway, a tambour-door cabinet adds additional storage and brings in natural light with a window. All appliances are standard 110V, compliant with the electrical standards of the United States, Canada, and Japan.
Hull and main structure
Crafted as a one-piece hull using the SCRIMP cored lamination process, it carries a deep skeg and robust longitudinal girders for precise tracking and exceptional rigidity. The hull, deck, and superstructure are all built with the licensed SCRIMP process to deliver improved strength with less weight, while the hull bottom is solid fiberglass for unwavering integrity. Hull sides, decks, and superstructure are foam-cored with high-density Divinycell or an equivalent material, and the stringers are similarly reinforced with high-density foam coring. Every interior structural component is properly bonded to the hull, and a strong collision bulkhead adds an extra margin of safety. The underwater profile benefits from international anti-fouling bottom paint with an anti-osmosis treatment applied in September 2024, and the exterior received a gray hull paint finish in 2021.
Exterior deck and equipment
From the moment you step aboard, the exterior impresses with a two-foot swim platform extension and a high bulwark accented by flush-mounted courtesy lights. A fiberglass rub rail with a stainless-steel cap traces the hull sides and swim platform, while heavy-duty stainless-steel handholds—featuring a 2-inch rail with 1 1/4-inch stanchions—provide unwavering security. All exterior stainless is 316L grade for enduring brilliance. The yacht is pre-wired for an LED boat name on the stern and sides, and three Hosemaster hose reels are neatly integrated—FD 35', foredeck 100', and stern garage 100'—to simplify washdowns and line handling.
Aft, the nonskid foredeck transitions to a beautifully laid teak aft deck, teak swim platform, and teak steps leading to the water. The aft deck features an FRP settee paired with a sliding hi-lo teak dining table with a removable center for effortless versatility. Comfort is elevated with all-new cushions in 2025, complemented by a Samsung 40-inch LED TV added the same year and two pairs of JL speakers installed in 2025 for immersive sound. Boarding is seamless via a Besenzoni hydraulic passerelle, while a teak hydraulic hi-lo swim platform boasts a 1750 lbs (800kg) load capacity and sculpted stairways up to the aft deck. Just above the platform, a built-in shower with hot and cold water awaits after a swim, and a Besenzoni hydraulic swim ladder ensures easy re-entry. Around the stern, 2-inch removable stainless-steel rails enhance safety, and fixed cleats are positioned for secure tender tying.
The tender garage is engineered for maximum flexibility, with a large hydraulic door that transforms the space from a garage to a beach club at will. Inflatable tender storage is cleverly accommodated both in the garage and on the flybridge, assisted by a Besenzoni boat track system for smooth handling, and an escape hatch provides direct access to the crew cabin.
On the foredeck, leisure takes center stage with one pair of Fusion speakers, a large U-shaped settee, and a full foredeck sunbathing cushion complete with drink holders. New cushion covers in 2025 refresh the look, while a Morton Marine umbrella shades the forward seating area. A bow teak step with cushion conceals an extra shower head in an FRP cabinet beneath the step for convenient rinsing. The bow seating area is finished with a teak hi-lo table and an inviting U-shaped seat, creating a private open-air lounge perfect for any anchorage.
Mooring system
The yacht’s mooring suite is centered on two Maxwell VWC6000 hydraulic windlasses with a hidden bow installation, offering local plug-in controls, foot switches, and remote operation for effortless handling. Monitoring is precise with two chain counters in the pilothouse supplemented by two additional chain counters. Ground tackle comprises two 150 kg stainless steel anchors set against a stainless steel bow protection plate and deployed on two 400-foot high-tensile 1/2-inch anchor chains, secured with a chain stopper and tensioner and serviced by a manually operated freshwater/sea water chain washdown system. On the aft deck, two Maxwell VC3500 electric rope winches with rope roller work in concert with hawser holes to port and starboard at the transom and two aft deck corner fairleads, while the forward deck is equipped with two Maxwell electric rope winches to streamline line handling. Heavy-duty 316 stainless steel cleats and a fairlead with rollers are positioned at the forward and aft decks to complete this robust, seamanlike arrangement.
Doors, hatches, windows & port holes
Boarding is made effortless by four bulwark doors positioned at the foredeck and aft deck, complemented by stainless-steel gate doors linking the aft deck to the swim platform. From the swim platform, a watertight door provides secure access to the utility room/garage, while two deckhouse entrance doors serve the galley and the foyer. Visibility and climate efficiency are elevated with frameless windows in clear, tempered, laminated Low-E glass for the windshield and side windows, and durable acrylic glass windscreens protect the flybridge. Natural light floods the accommodations through four larger windows dedicated to the VIP and guest staterooms, augmented by ten large port lights, and further safeguarded by CE-approved stainless-steel portholes with storm covers for the staterooms.
Flybridge and boat deck
The flybridge and boat deck are finished in teak throughout, creating a warm, yachting ambiance enhanced by an indirect lighting system tucked beneath the bar and seats. Practicality meets safety with oversize drains fitted with strainers at each corner of the flybridge deck, leading to internal overboard drains, all equipped with check valves and vent holes. A radar arch with antenna bracket is flanked by two searchlights and complemented by a commanding Buell Quadraplex air horn, while two floodlights are flush-mounted in the hardtop to illuminate the aft flybridge deck and two additional floodlights bathe the radar arch and mast. Access is effortless via a curved stairway from the aft deck, appointed with teak steps and a stainless steel handrail.
Entertaining is elevated by a custom bar featuring a sink, icemaker, and refrigerator with an adjacent storage area, a perimeter footrest, and two round stools at the counter. Seating is generous with two FRP settees accompanied by sliding teak tables per the layout, and comfort is assured thanks to flybridge air conditioning and a Webasto soft-top folding roof system for the hardtop. A five-person jacuzzi with heater invites relaxation, protected by an FRP cover with sunpad above. For alfresco dining, an FRP cabinet houses a propane BBQ with a manual lift-up function and an extra deck wash faucet. Thoughtful safety and versatility come via removable handrails with acrylic panels around the flybridge aft deck and along the stairway rails, and a stainless steel rail with a groove serves as the lower track for EZ2CY. A hydraulic Steelhead ES1500 davit stands ready for tender operations.
Command is centered at a custom helm station with a carbon fiber dashboard panel, ZF Mather controls, compass, and steering wheel, with clear access on both sides for confident docking. Entertainment is robust with a SunBrite forty-six-inch LED TV and four pairs of JL speakers, while fresh style is underscored by new cabinet doors in 2024. The package is completed with two life rafts, ensuring readiness for extended cruising.
Pilothouse and instruments
At the helm station, an integrated instrument panel is set within a black acrylic dashboard panel and paired with an integrated general alarm and monitoring system for critical equipment, including bilge pumps, blowers, and navigation lights. Navigation is enhanced by international LED navigation lights and a Boening monitoring and control system, while a Ritchie magnetic compass serves the pilothouse and flybridge stations. Sightlines remain clear in all conditions thanks to heavy-duty Speich stainless-steel wipers and a washer system, each windshield wiper benefitting from variable speed control. Comfort meets craft with an L-shaped leather settee and teak sliding table, a desk with storage and one chair, and rich hardwood flooring, all overseen by a surveillance camera network covering the aft deck, flybridge, and engine room. The helm has been upgraded to an electric Besenzoni P216 pilot chair with Garmin controls, fronting all-new Garmin electronics that include three small Garmin displays, dual radar, and autopilot, complemented by ABT Trac and bow and stern thruster for confident maneuvering. Entertainment is rounded out by one pair of JL speakers.
ER and propulsion equipment
Power comes from twin CAT C32A 1,900 hp diesel engines with reduction gears, showing 1,800 hours, supported by a live SAE‑C PTO on the gearboxes for thrusters, windlass, and stabilizer power, and an SAE‑A PTO on the engines for the hydraulic steering gear. Command is via a ZF Mathers fixed engine control system in the pilothouse and flybridge, with one handheld remote control with plug‑in receptacles at the aft deck and flybridge. The running gear features stainless steel Aquamet HS 22# shafts driving high‑performance S‑Class five‑blade propellers in NiA1Br, carried on main bronze struts with backing plates, while shaft and rudder packing glands are fitted with Tides Marine dripless seals, a stainless steel rudder carries zinc plates, spur line cutters protect the shafts, and spare rudder seals ride on the rudder shafts. Exhaust is quietly routed through an underwater exhaust system, and custom steering wheels grace both helms for precise control.
For confident maneuvering and comfort, ABT hydraulic sixteen‑inch variable‑speed bow and stern thrusters deliver 65 hp, and ABT Zero Speed stabilizers 440/20x keep the yacht composed underway and at rest; Zero Speed further enhances comfort at anchor. The machinery spaces are meticulously executed with engine room LED ceiling lights, two reversible AC intake blowers with automatic speed control, and four engine room ventilation openings with Delta T moisture eliminators, all secured by a heavy‑duty watertight engine room door. Acoustic integrity is ensured by double sound and heat insulated material with a foam and lead combination, complemented by watertight bulkheads forward and aft and a full‑length stainless steel overhead grab rail on each side of the engine. Systems support includes dual AC raw water pumps, an air compressor, a vacuum cleaner system with outlets throughout the vessel, dual Spot Zero 2200 GPD X2 with Dockside filtration, galley and crew drinking water 120 systems, and air conditioning in the engine room.
After cooler ten‑year service February 2025.
Electrical system
Engineered for seamless performance and comfort, the yacht’s electrical system centers on a main electric panel with circuit breakers positioned inside the engine room, complemented by thoughtfully placed sub-panels in each zone for precise electrical distribution. An emergency power package and lighting system provide assured redundancy, while AC volt receptacles are located throughout, including the engine room, and all exterior, head, galley, and engine room outlets benefit from GFI protection. Atmosphere is artfully controlled by indirect lighting under the valances in the salon, staterooms, pilothouse, and galley, together with a dimmer system for ceiling lights on the aft deck, flybridge, salon, master, VIP stateroom, and the port and starboard staterooms. Independent 24-volt to 12-volt converters support essential equipment, joined by one DC 12-volt receptacle, and an electrolysis bonding and grounding system is further safeguarded by two zinc anodes on the transom. Visual and aesthetic enhancements include ten underwater lights and two stern docking lights, as well as an extra camera on the flybridge for improved situational awareness. Connectivity and control are first class, with KVH TracVision HD7 and two M9 domes, a Boening monitoring and control system installed in 2025, and Starlink, plus Hubbell shore TV and telephone sockets, a Wave WiFi booster system with wireless routers onboard, and a Vimar internet outlet/socket. Onboard communications are anchored by Panasonic PBX telephones with intercom features in the salon, pilothouse, master stateroom, VIP stateroom, guest staterooms, and crew mess, while the remaining cabins are fitted with a telephone outlet. Power management is further elevated by an Atlas shore power 75kW converter upgraded with seamless transfer.
The AC/DC main power system delivers robust capability via an AC electrical system rated at 208V/120V, three phase, four wires, 60 Hz, and two 65kW Kohler generators with sound shields provide quiet, reliable generation. Energy storage is comprehensive, with four 255Ah starting batteries for the main engines and generators, ten 210Ah AGM batteries dedicated to the ship’s DC 24V service power, and two 210Ah emergency batteries located above the main deck with an independent battery charger. All batteries are enclosed with proper fixtures, protection is enhanced by a vapor-proof battery switch, and charging and conversion are ensured by Charles battery chargers for engine start and service together with Outback inverter power.

Dedicated collecting sump tanks with automatic switch pumps serve each shower and the washer drainage area, maintaining dry, efficient spaces. A Headhunter sanitary treatment system, serviced in 2025, works in concert with the Headhunter fresh pump and toilet system to deliver robust, dependable performance. The installation also enables grey water to be pumped out to the dockside in the same manner as black water, ensuring flexible waste management wherever you tie up.
Fire safety system
Engineered for absolute peace of mind, the yacht’s fire safety system integrates a dedicated fire pump with outlets and hydrants, comprehensive fire insulation in the engine room, and fire-resistant treatment for pipe penetrations. Protection at the source is ensured by a fixed FM200 fire extinguisher, or equivalent, for the engine room with a remote pull station, supported by an automatic shutdown system and a hand held fire extinguisher as required. Vigilant monitoring comes from an integrated fire alarm system in the pilothouse with a heat or smoke detector in each cabin.
Interior design and equipment
A custom Luca Dini interior sets a refined tone throughout five en suite guest staterooms, featuring an on-deck Master and four guest staterooms below deck, complemented by crew quarters aft. Plush carpeting enriches the Master, dining area, guest staterooms and crew cabins, while wood flooring underscores the companionways, pilothouse and crew mess. High-density, hotel-grade pocket spring mattresses are paired with sheet sets—flat sheets, fitted sheet and pillow cases—and bedspreads throughout the yacht, except in the crew cabins and on the upper bunks. An indirect lighting system glows beneath sofas, beds, valances and all stairways, and hanging lockers in every stateroom provide the necessary shelves or drawers. Practicality meets polish with an extra stacked washer and dryer in the forward guest companionway, a seamless polyurethane finish in all heads, Hansgrohe faucets, towel bars, towel rings, cup, brush and soap holders, and a head brush in the forward bathrooms, plus an exhaust blower for each head. Marble completes the presentation with a countertop, backsplash and floors in all day and guest heads.
