Construction

Below the waterline, the hull is solid fiberglass with Kevlar-reinforced stem and stern bottom sections, and vinylester resins specified in the first two laminates throughout, including all three keels. Above the waterline, a carefully engineered combination of Knytex, mat, and Airex delivers added resiliency alongside enhanced sound and thermal insulation.

The superstructure is built with Knytex paired with end-grained balsa and/or Divinycell coring and finished with surface mats to reduce print-through. A Cook gel coat is applied to both the superstructure and the hull. The aft and side decks are laid in teak, while the boat deck and foredeck are finished with Awlgrip GripTex non-skid for confident footing.

Saloon

Entered from the fully covered aft deck, the saloon welcomes you through double Freeman welded aluminum weathertight doors fitted with privacy window louvers. To starboard, an L-shaped settee upholstered in Sunbrella fabric pairs with a hi-lo table, while to port, two leather Lazy Boy swivel chairs flank a cabinet. Entertainment is anchored by a 2024 55-inch Samsung Smart TV, complemented by a Bose sound system that is not hooked up. Discreet back-plated D-rings and straps are concealed to secure the saloon furniture while underway in heavy seas. A phantom screen with custom woodwork, installed just inside the aft doors, keeps insects out while allowing fresh breezes to flow through the saloon. For effortless provisioning, there is a separate entrance from the starboard side deck through a Freeman welded aluminum Dutch door with Textaline screen covering, and the open layout to the salon encourages uninterrupted conversation with guests while meals are prepared. Culinary equipment includes a 23 cu. ft. Jenn-Air side-by-side refrigerator and freezer with ice maker, a Broadwater stainless steel four-burner propane stove/oven, a Miele dishwasher, a GE trash compactor, and a GE convection microwave oven. A Raritan ice maker has been removed and stowed under the master berth, with a Dometic six-bottle wine refrigerator now occupying the former ice-maker location across from the galley.

Master stateroom

Positioned forward of the office and guest stateroom, the roomy master stateroom centers on a queen-sized walk-around berth with a protected mattress that ensures a truly comfortable sleep. Natural light and fresh air flow generously through four large opening stainless steel ports and two overhead hatches, inviting cooling breezes at anchor and cultivating a bright, airy ambiance. For safety, an escape ladder is installed within one of the overhead hatch openings. Master ensuite head

Positioned on the aft port side of the stateroom, the ensuite head features a walk-in shower enclosed by an aluminum and glass bi-fold door, a Vacuflush head, and elegant Corian countertops. Natural light and fresh air pour in through a porthole within the shower and a second over the sink, keeping the space bright and inviting.

Guest stateroom

Aft of the master on the starboard side, this welcoming retreat features a queen-sized berth to starboard with airflow beneath the mattress for enhanced comfort. Abundant storage includes seven drawers and two hanging lockers, providing generous space for guests or family. Shelves with fidds offer additional room for books and personal items, while two large opening stainless steel portholes flood the cabin with natural light and refreshing ventilation.

Guest ensuite head

Pilothouse

The pilothouse serves as both the command center and a welcoming social hub, where a large L-shaped custom fabric settee converts effortlessly into a double berth and is complemented by a pedestal-mounted expandable table and a Stidd helm chair. Freeman welded aluminum Dutch doors to port and starboard, fitted with Textaline screen covers, provide easy access to all decks, while excellent ventilation flows through two stainless steel opening ports and two overhead hatches. Visibility is superb for the captain and guests alike, and sunshades for the pilothouse windows keep the space cool and shaded on the warmest of days. Seating and window coverings have been updated to enhance comfort and style.

Electronics

Commanding technology begins with an ACR 200,000 remote-controlled searchlight with Point Pad control and a Kalhenberg air horn with automatic controls, while a desktop computer running the Rose Point navigation system with Explorer charts is complemented by Max Sea as backup. Navigation is anchored by a Furuno GPS Navigator and a Furuno AP711c package autopilot with head and pump serving both helms, aided by a follow-up autopilot lever controller at the starboard wing station. Awareness is enhanced by two GOST mini-ball 700 TVL wide-angle cameras, and visibility in any weather is assured by Exalto intermittent wipers with washers.

In 2022 a comprehensive refresh introduced two PHT-185W 18.5 wide screens, added in 2023, together with a TZ Touch 19-inch multifunction display on the flybridge, a Furuno DRS 12ANXT/4 radar, an NMEA antenna-receiver, a Furuno IFNMEA interface, and a Furuno RD-30 depth instrument. The network is tied together by an ACT NGT-1 NMEA 2000 gateway, while communications are strengthened with an ICOM M506 VHF with Command Mic III on the flybridge. The F170BW package brings a wind sensor and digital data display, a follow-up autopilot lever controller is fitted at the starboard wing station, two GOST mini-ball 700 TVL wide-angle cameras stand watch, the Furuno AP711c package autopilot with head and pump serves both helms, and both flybridge engine control panels were replaced.

In addition, an ICOM M506 VHF with Command Mic III on the flybridge was installed as a replacement, an ICOM M710 SSB expands long-range capability, a Furuno GPS Navigator is aboard, an EPIRB provides an added layer of safety, and Exalto intermittent wipers with washers were replaced.

Electrical equipment

Engineered for dependable power and intelligent redundancy, the yacht’s electrical suite centers on a pair of Northern Lights generators—a 20 kW unit showing 1562 hours and an 8 kW unit with 3093 hours—delivering steady output for cruising and hotel loads alike. Starting power and ship service capacity are anchored by AGM batteries, including engine starting batteries from 2022, two 12‑volt AGM generator starting batteries from 2022, and twelve 6‑volt AGM ship service batteries commissioned in 2024, complemented by dedicated NavCom batteries added in 2023. Power conversion and charging are equally robust, featuring a Magnum inverter installed in 2019 and a Trace 4 kW inverter with a 24‑volt battery charger serving as a reliable backup, alongside a pair of MasterVolt Chargemaster units—one 120‑volt, 24‑volt battery charger and one 120‑volt, 12‑volt battery charger, both from 2019—for precise, efficient charging across systems. Shore power handling is effortless with two 50‑amp, 75' Glendinning Cable Master reels in the aft cockpit and two 50‑amp shore power hookups on the bow, all safeguarded by a Charles Isolation Transformer for clean, protected current. Completing the package, new Max charge regulators for the engine alternators were fitted in 2023, with spare regulators already programmed and carried on board for added peace of mind.

Engine room and mechanical equipment

At the heart of the machinery space are two John Deere continuous-duty-rated 6068TFM engines delivering 154 hp with 6563 hours, mated to two Twin Disc transmissions with 2.88:1 ratio gears. Power is carried through Aquamet 22 2" shafts turning three-bladed propellers, with the shafts new in 2019, while cutlass bearings and dripless shaft seals were renewed in 2024. Command is precise via ZF Mathers Micro Commander electronic controls at three stations, and an Aqua Drive anti-vibration system on both engines ensures exceptional smoothness. Fuel quality is safeguarded by dual Racor 900 filters with vacuum gauges for each engine and dual Racor 500 filters with vacuum gauges for each generator, further enhanced by an ESI fuel polishing system. Maneuverability and comfort are elevated by an American Bow Thruster 25 hp hydraulic bow thruster with three stations and American Bow Thruster Trac stabilizers with nine square foot fins, with stabilizer seals completed in 2024 and stabilizer cylinders replaced in 2018 and 2019. Engine oversight is immediate with manual gauges on the engines, complemented by fresh water tank level and holding tank level monitoring gauges. Endurance is supported by a Village Marine 800 GPD water maker, pickled for one year, and a whole-boat water filtration system. The engine room benefits from LED lighting installed in 2023 and a major Delta T ventilation upgrade, while new risers on both engines were fitted in 2023 and an Aqua Alarm was installed on the main engines’ exhaust in 2019. The ABT-TRAC system was upgraded in 2021 with a new PH Panel Servo Control Box and an induction proximity sensor.

Additional components

Designed for comfort in all climates, the yacht features CruisAir reverse-cycle air conditioning delivering five-zone control, supported by two new air handlers in the P/H and an AC condensing unit dedicated to that space. Light and privacy are finely managed with ZARCOR window CloZures, custom Lexan storm windows for the side saloon complete with spare screw pins, and custom lamp shades for the P/H. Illumination is ample and efficient, with mast lights, cockpit lights, and new LED spreader flood lights. For added protection and elegance, Sunbrella custom-fit covers shield all P/H hatches and forward stateroom hatches, while Sunbrella cushions enhance the foredeck bench seats and the seating around the flybridge (FB) table.

On deck, a Nautical Structures EZ 1000 hydraulic low-profile davit with power rotation stands ready, serviced in 2022/23 with new cables, hydraulic hoses, and cylinder seals. A GG Schmitt swim ladder and a sturdy swim platform staple provide effortless water access, complemented by a handrail installed on the starboard walkway. Practicality meets protection with fully enclosed screens for the back deck and screens for all entrance doors, as well as a comprehensive lightning protection system. The anchoring suite is formidable: a Maxwell 3500 hydraulic windlass with dual chain wildcats and a separate capstan—fully serviced in 2022—teams with a 176 lb Bruce on 300 ft of 1/2" chain and a 100 lb Spade backed by 30 ft of 1/2" chain and 300 ft of line; the secondary anchor was further upgraded to a Spade-180 in 2023. A Freeman watertight chainlocker hatch sits flush on deck, flopper stoppers steady the yacht at anchor, and saltwater and freshwater washdowns keep operations clean. For anglers, two Lee Tackle rod holders are mounted on the aft cockpit stanchions.

The yacht’s finish and hardware reflect diligent care: the total hull, superstructure, and all decks were Awlgripped in 2018; deck hardware was replaced; and new canvas for the Bimini and the tender arrived in 2024, with most canvas upgraded over the past three years. Brightwork around the aft deck caprail gleams beneath a protective canvas cover. Underway performance benefits from A22 propeller shafts installed in 2019, propellers sent for professional reconditioning, and new cutlass bearings and seals.

Tenders and deck conveniences are equally comprehensive. A 13 ft Caribe, re‑tubed in 2016 and fitted with custom cushions in 2021, is powered by a 50 HP Yamaha outboard with new controls added in 2021. Navigation for the inflatable is enhanced by a new Garmin EchoMap Plus, while a 12‑volt power pack provides reliable backup. Cold storage options abound with a Dometic fridge/freezer deck box and a DOMCFX-95DZW freestanding freezer/cooler for the upper deck. For relaxation, a chair set on the boat deck comprises two chairs and a small table, and a conversation set on the back porch offers four chairs and a small table.

Safety and shipkeeping are paramount. A six-man canister life raft (certified 2018), fire extinguishers in all living spaces, and an engine room protected by an automatic fire suppression system—checked annually—provide confidence offshore, further supported by a Heart Smart AED and a Master Eartec Simultalk 24g. Domestic comforts include a Bosch washer (2024), a Bosch clothes dryer (2019), and a new Torrid 30‑gallon hot water heater (2021), while everyday convenience is elevated by a Dyson V7 vacuum and a dehumidifier used when the boat is stored. Systems have been proactively maintained and refreshed: the watermaker was serviced in 2022, including a new low‑pressure pump; faucet upgrades and refreshed shower accessories are in place; and all sanitation hoses have been changed, with privacy covers fitted to select portlights. A Dometic fridge/freezer deck box adds utility on deck, and housekeeping and upkeep are aided by a power washer. Rounding out the technical inventory are spare Racor filters and extensive John Deere and Northern Lights spares for mains and gensets, along with assorted system spares, ensuring readiness for any voyage, supported by numerous additional spares onboard.
