Overview

Conceived for long-duration voyaging through Florida and the Bahamas, the luxury motor yacht Fiddlers Dream spent her first two seasons roaming warm, crystalline waters. She was subsequently shipped to Europe to operate from Cannes and now calls Malta home, having consistently proved herself a capable, versatile cruiser across diverse yachting regions.

Kept in full MCA compliance and fitted with an ASEA 60/50 Hz shore-power converter, she is set for world cruising. Built to the rigorous standards and certification of Germanischer Lloyd, Fiddlers Dream has enjoyed continuous professional care. A durable Coppercoat bottom protects the hull, boosting efficiency and trimming maintenance demands.

Her interior exhibits superb craftsmanship, much of the bespoke joinery conceived and fabricated by Design Unlimited in the UK. The result is an enduringly refined aesthetic that places her among the most elegant yachts in her class, and she is offered comprehensively outfitted with fine china, crystal stemware, and solid‑silver flatware, ready for immediate enjoyment and gracious entertaining.

The raised pilothouse affords commanding 360-degree sightlines for assured navigation, while the full-beam owner’s suite is ideally set amidships beneath the wheelhouse, maximizing comfort and stability under way.

Driven by twin 1,015 HP Caterpillar diesels, she delivers notable versatility, cruising efficiently at 8 knots at roughly 1 nautical mile per gallon and reaching top speeds near 20 knots. A comfortable fast cruise of 16–17 knots enables swift passage-making on demand, and with a substantial 3,000‑gallon fuel capacity she offers a range in excess of 3,000 nautical miles at displacement speed.

Accommodations comprise four well-appointed staterooms for owners and guests served by three full heads, while dedicated aft crew quarters for a captain and mate feature private access so the team can operate discreetly without entering guest spaces.

Fiddlers Dream unites pedigree, global capability, and polished luxury—a rare raised‑pilothouse motor yacht and true long‑range passagemaker for the discerning owner seeking a genuine bluewater cruising yacht.

Detailed Description

Accommodations

This yacht offers a spacious, thoughtfully designed layout with four staterooms and three full heads in the main living area, providing generous comfort for owners and guests alike. A separate crew quarters, complete with twin bunks and a full head, ensures privacy and functionality for extended cruising. The enclosed command bridge is a true standout, allowing the traditional lower helm to be reimagined as an elegant dining space forward of the galley, perfect for entertaining in a climate-controlled environment with excellent views. Crew quarters are positioned aft of the engine room with private deck access, enabling discreet operation that preserves the serenity of guest areas. Throughout the yacht, a warm satin cherry interior finish imbues every space with timeless sophistication.

Pilothouse

Designed around a command bridge layout, the pilothouse is impressively spacious and purposefully arranged to elevate both comfort and functionality. In place of a large, underutilized lower helm station—unnecessary in this configuration—the forward area has been intelligently reimagined as a generous seating lounge with a teak table, an inviting setting for dining, relaxing, or planning passages. To starboard, a compact helm station provides a practical and efficient command position.

Aft of the dining area, the galley is seamlessly integrated and open to the salon, promoting a natural flow between living spaces, while a starboard staircase offers convenient access to the staterooms below.

Conceived for the owner-operator, this secondary helm allows the captain to remain engaged with family and guests while operating the vessel during extended offshore passages. The station is equipped with a modern Raymarine chart plotter that delivers comprehensive navigation data and enhanced situational awareness in a streamlined, easily accessible layout.

Galley

The galley is centrally positioned on the main deck at the aft end of the pilothouse, reached by three steps up from the salon. Thoughtfully conceived, it preserves an open sightline beneath the aft galley cabinetry, enabling views through to the salon and aft deck and heightening the sense of openness and connection between living areas. The countertops are finished in elegant Black Galaxy granite, combining durability with a sophisticated visual appeal. An undermounted sink sits on the aft side of the counter to streamline workflow, while the U-shaped layout places a Gaggenau cooktop to starboard, complete with removable stainless steel sea rails to secure cookware underway; below, a matching Gaggenau oven is seamlessly integrated into the cabinetry. Forward in the galley, Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer drawers are conveniently positioned adjacent to the sink and dishwasher, delivering efficient access to cold storage while preserving a clean, organized aesthetic. Generous cabinetry above and below the counters ensures ample storage, making the space highly functional for both extended cruising and entertainment.

Engines

The engine room offers full stand-up headroom and is fully air-conditioned, creating a cool, comfortable workspace with excellent access on all sides for effortless inspection and maintenance. Finishes and fittings are yacht-grade throughout, with engine room lead/foam sound insulation, smooth-finish gel-coated bilges, varnished teak bilge grating centered in the space, and polished stainless engine beds, risers, and fuel manifolds. Illumination is superb thanks to waterproof 24V overhead lights and 240V fluorescent lighting, while a heavy-duty watertight engine room door with inspection port underscores the vessel’s robust build.

Power is provided by Caterpillar C-18 engines rated at 1,015 HP each with 2,275 hours, supported by two 22.5KW 50Hz Cummins generators showing two thousand four hundred hours each; both engines and gensets were fully serviced in April 2026. For remarkable comfort underway, two SK9 Sea Keeper Gyro Stabilizers, new in 2019, dramatically reduce roll. The drivetrain features Aquadrive flexible drive couplings protected by FRP drive coupling covers, soft engine mounts to reduce vibration, dripless engine shaft seal logs, heavy-duty exhaust hose clamps, high-temperature silicone exhaust hoses, and an underwater exhaust system. Underwater lights add a striking presence at anchor and dock.

At the forward end, a centralized sea chest supplies seawater to the engines, generator, air-conditioning, and all systems requiring raw water cooling; each run is individually valved for isolation and precise control. The proprietary sea chest water intake system incorporates a dedicated inspection and cleanout port, and seacocks are fitted on all seawater supply lines. A salt water washdown sea water system is served by a dedicated saltwater pump for washdown. Ventilation is powerful and well managed via high-volume 220V engine room blowers, additional engine room vent blowers, and a proprietary baffled air inlet system. Freshwater service is equally comprehensive, with a PSR pressure freshwater system, a pressure freshwater faucet, and a fresh water outlet with hose for the engines and generator.

Fuel storage is FRP, with a single three-thousand-gallon tank positioned just forward of the engine room bulkhead near the yacht’s center of buoyancy to maintain a consistent running angle regardless of load while serving as an effective sound barrier to the forward living spaces. This FRP fuel tank is equipped with a sight gauge and a digital gauge at the helm, and the specification further includes FRP fuel tanks and color coded copper piping for the fuel, water, and hydraulic system. Filtration and servicing are first-class, featuring dual Racor fuel/water separators for each engine and generator, each with a gauge, and Reverso Oil Change Systems for the engines, transmissions, and generators. A Sea Recovery watermaker rated at 900 GPD (Model: SRC Aqumatic 900-2) ensures abundant freshwater supply.

Plumbing and drainage are designed for reliability and ease of operation, with an FRP holding tank plumbed for dockside and overboard discharge, FRP gray and black water tanks driven by heavy-duty vacuum pumps, and a common drainage system for sink, deck, shower, and bilge. Safety and redundancy are built in with four 3700 GPH bilge pumps with automatic and manual switches, a heavy-duty manual bilge pump, and a high water bilge alarm in the engine room. Practical touches include AC and DC outlets to support service work.

Crew lounge

The cockpit showcases uninterrupted teak decking and an integrated seating area with an accompanying table, creating a comfortable and inviting outdoor living space. An extended boat deck provides full overhead coverage, offering excellent protection from both sun and rain while enhancing the usability of the cockpit in a variety of conditions. Double doors from the salon open directly into the cockpit, allowing the two spaces to merge into one expansive entertaining area, ideal for indoor–outdoor living and social gatherings. Aft, transom doors provide access to an oversized swim platform, which in turn connects to a transom entry leading to the engine room and dedicated crew quarters, ensuring efficient and private access to technical spaces. The yacht is also equipped with a fixed docking station that has been upgraded with a Dockmate wireless control system, allowing for precise and convenient maneuvering of the engines and thrusters from the deck.

Deck equipment

Built with advanced materials and modern construction techniques, this yacht achieves exceptional strength while maintaining a lighter overall displacement than traditionally built vessels. The strategic incorporation of Kevlar, modified epoxy resins, and high-density core materials yields a hull that surpasses the robustness of many heavier counterparts yet operates with markedly greater efficiency. Throughout the yacht, honeycomb and structural foam cores are utilized in counters, cabinetry, and soles, delivering durability and meaningful weight reduction without sacrificing structural integrity or finish quality. Beyond sheer performance, the advantages are far-reaching: reduced weight enhances fuel efficiency and range, enabling extended cruising with lower operating costs—an asset especially valuable for long-distance passagemaking and time spent offshore.

Tenders

An Avon Seaport 400 DL tender measuring four meters in length is paired with a Yamaha 50 hp four-stroke outboard, model F50 FETL, delivering dependable performance for swift and comfortable transfers.
