Overview
TURANGALILA offers a rare chance to own the inaugural Marlow Explorer 75E-CB delivered to the United States. Kept under the care of a seasoned owner and professional captain from day one, she shows as an exquisitely refined and extensively enhanced enclosed-bridge motor yacht, benefitting from comprehensive recent services and smart, operationally focused upgrades throughout.
Driven by twin Caterpillar C-32 ACERT 1800 HP engines, TURANGALILA delivers spirited performance with an effortless 24-knot cruise and top speeds approaching 30 knots, while preserving the range, bluewater capability, and owner-operator ease that define Marlow Yachts in the premium motoryacht segment. With just 1,350 hours and Caterpillar warranty coverage remaining for several more years, peace of mind is built in. A wireless Yacht Controller, upgraded hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, Naiad stabilizers, dual upgraded generators, and a robust electrical architecture make her equally adept as an experienced owner-run long-range cruiser or a fully crewed private yacht.
Her fully enclosed command bridge significantly expands versatility and comfort for passagemaking, weather protection, and true year-round enjoyment. Paired with Marlow’s proprietary lightweight composite construction, an efficient semi-displacement hull form, and meticulously engineered systems, TURANGALILA stands apart as a serious expedition-style cruising platform rather than merely a luxury coastal motor yacht.
Recent maintenance and upgrades include fresh bottom paint, PropSpeed on running gear, zinc renewal, hull touch-up, and full buff and wax completed in August 2025. Further highlights encompass upgraded shore-power systems, Spot Zero water purification, a fuel polishing system, underwater lighting, a premium Garmin electronics suite, Starlink connectivity, and extensive custom interior refinements that elevate her enclosed-bridge yacht experience.
The result is a compelling fusion of performance, engineering depth, operational capability, and understated luxury—placing her among the most capable and best-equipped enclosed-bridge yachts in her class today.

Detailed Description
Notable build upgrades
Power is delivered by Caterpillar C32 1800 hp engines, while the yacht presents a gleaming, long‑lasting finish thanks to a full Awlcraft 2000 paint application. Electrical capability is enhanced with an upgraded 100 amp service paired with a boosting transformer and an additional 50 amp service. Onboard water purity is elevated by a Spotzero double‑pass water maker working in concert with the ZTC2000z Spotzero system, and fuel integrity is safeguarded by an ESI fuel polishing system. Ambience and efficiency are refined through upgraded LED lighting throughout the yacht, reliability is strengthened by upgraded 29 kW Onan generators, and precise maneuverability is assured by a full hydraulic package that includes 30 hp bow and stern thrusters.
Recent service
In August 2025, the bottom received fresh paint, the running gear and all other metal components were treated with Prop Speed, all zincs were replaced, and the Flag Blue Awlcraft 2000 hull was expertly touched up, then buffed and waxed to a luminous finish.
Salon
Upon entering from the aft deck, you are welcomed into an expansive, open-plan salon with unobstructed sightlines stretching all the way to the forward windshield, amplifying the sense of space. Large windows to port and starboard bathe the area in natural light, while beautiful teak-and-holly floors ground the bright, airy ambiance. Wall sconces and custom window treatments lend a modern sensibility, and the ceiling headliners have been finished in a whiter white to complement the yacht’s brighter painted superstructure.
Opposing the forward bar on the port side, a Miele coffee machine, a fifteen-inch wine cooler, and a Sub-Zero beverage center are thoughtfully integrated. The forward bar itself offers generous glassware storage behind glass doors, with clear Lexan shelving that secures every piece for sea and delivers a striking presentation.
Comfort and entertainment are at the heart of the salon, with very large built-in settees to port and starboard, each concealing ample storage below. A large, high-gloss coffee table anchors the space, with custom-built ottomans neatly stowed beneath. A large flat-screen TV resides in the starboard aft corner for effortless viewing from both settees, and a small desk is discreetly integrated into the corner cabinet beneath the TV.
The forward bar invites convivial gatherings with four teak and Ultraleather stools, its own separate TV, a sink, and a dedicated ice maker. A Miele oven within the bar is perfectly suited for serving hors d’oeuvres when entertaining.
Galley/pilothouse
Walking up three steps brings you to a spacious, modified U-shaped galley enriched with numerous upgrades, including Dupont Zodiaq countertops, a stainless-steel Franke sink with a cutting board cover, Grohe faucets, a garbage disposal, and a dedicated filtered water tap at the sink. The culinary suite is comprehensive and thoughtfully appointed, featuring a Miele induction cooktop serving as the stovetop, an electric range with a full-size Bosch oven, an oversized convection microwave, and an extra-large Whirlpool convection oven. Cold storage is equally robust, with a full-height Sub-Zero refrigerator in the galley complemented by two Sub-Zero freezer drawers forward, while cleanup is effortless thanks to two Fisher Paykel drawer dishwashers. Abundant cabinetry and drawer space keep provisions and cookware neatly organized and within easy reach, making this open, well-appointed galley ideal for entertaining and a joy for gourmet cooking.
Located forward of the galley, the dining area seats six to eight comfortably around a large U-shaped dinette. Expansive windows constructed from laminated double-layer tempered glass surround the space, delivering superior hurricane and weather resistance, enhancing physical security, and preserving watertight integrity, all while framing simply stunning 360-degree views from this elevated vantage point. For added convenience, a TV folds down from the ceiling for clear viewing from both the galley and the seating area.
On the port side by the table, a large storage cabinet crowned with a granite top creates a perfect serving station within effortless reach of the pilothouse table, while additional storage is positioned directly across the pilothouse outboard of the stairs.
Command bridge
Fully enclosed and finished to the same luxe standard as the rest of the yacht, the Command Bridge showcases Teak and Holly floors with satin teak cabinetry and walls. On fair days it transforms into a breezy sanctuary by opening the sliding doors to port and starboard, the aft door, and two overhead, dual-opening hatches with screens, creating effortless cross-ventilation and direct access to the side decks. The helm is beautifully executed, placing all yacht systems at your fingertips with a large console anchored by three 22-inch Garmin multifunction displays, dedicated CAT engine displays, and the Marlow proprietary safety and control panel conveniently positioned above the helm station. An overhead display panel gives the captain immediate visibility of warnings along with tank and voltage levels, while comprehensive monitoring covers all tanks and battery banks. To starboard, an electrical sub panel provides access to the main breakers serving the yacht’s critical operations, complemented by a separate electrical panel for 12 and 24V helm-related components. Command and comfort are assured with a single Stidd helm chair for the captain paired with a double companion chair to starboard for passengers, and docking is made effortless with the Yacht Controller.
Aft of the helm, an elevated seating area grants commanding views through the windows and is centered on a beautiful teak table, while a thoughtfully designed mini office nestles into the starboard corner with a desk, chair, file drawer, and a storage cabinet with the printer on top—an arrangement owners come to love on extended passages. Across from the seating and office, to port aft, the Command Bridge features a spacious day head with sink and toilet, and nearby a Uline refrigerator with ice maker to port serves as the perfect drink refrigerator. Whether approached from the galley stairs or the aft cockpit stairs, two easy access points make this elevated space an everyday delight, with sliding doors to port and starboard and the overhead hatches ensuring a constant supply of fresh air and light.
Upper aft deck
Aft of the Command Bridge, the spacious upper aft deck is sheltered by an extended hardtop and arranged for effortless entertaining. An L-shaped settee/lounge with built-in storage and a dining table invites relaxation, while to port a well-appointed bar includes a sink, a refrigerator with ice maker, three bar stools, and generous storage lockers. A sliding hatch shields the stairs to the lower aft deck for safe, weather-ready passage. Further aft, a hydraulic 1600-lb davit stands ready for tender handling. Stainless steel rails extend to the boat deck’s edge, complemented by stainless-steel removable N-rails positioned around the dinghy launch side for added versatility and security.
Master stateroom
The full-beam master stateroom is a spacious and private retreat anchored by a centerline king berth with a custom headboard and five storage drawers beneath. The ensuite head is aft, entered on the starboard side, and appointed with expansive granite countertops and twin sinks, a very large shower, Grohe fixtures, and an electric push-button toilet. To port, the forward section features a vanity with a built-in stool, while aft to port lies the entrance to the walk-in closet. Storage is exceptional, with hanging lockers to both port and starboard, a tall hanging locker on the forward starboard wall, a full chest of drawers and twin storage lockers to starboard, and a built-in settee to port complemented by twin storage lockers. Large portlights on either side bathe the room in natural light and frame ocean views, enhancing the open, airy ambiance, while rich wood accents, custom furnishings, and premium fixtures add a luxurious finishing touch.
VIP stateroom
Located in the bow, the VIP stateroom showcases a centerline king berth with generous access from either side, framed by finely crafted woodwork and cabinetry. Bathed in natural light from two large overhead hatches, this inviting retreat also provides abundant storage with large cedar-lined hanging lockers to port and starboard and four large drawers beneath the berth.
The ensuite VIP head is accessed directly from the stateroom and is beautifully appointed with Compac Ceniza countertops and Grohe fixtures, a refined sink and countertop with integrated storage, a large opening port light, a large teak-floored stall shower, and a toilet.
Port guest stateroom
Redesigned as a welcoming retreat, the port guest stateroom now features a single large berth tailored for adult couples, with built-in storage below and hanging lockers above. Thoughtfully planned stowage continues with storage under the bed and a full-height, cedar-lined hanging locker forward. A private ensuite head with a separate, generous stall shower is appointed with a Compac Ceniza countertop, Grohe fixtures, a large mirror, and an electric push-button toilet. Two large opening portlights bathe the space in natural light and invite refreshing sea breezes.
Starboard guest stateroom
The starboard guest stateroom has been thoughtfully transformed into a dedicated laundry center and storage area while retaining its versatility as a comfortable sleeping space. Purpose-built as the fourth stateroom, it features GE home front-loading washer and dryer units, with the dryer vented outside for optimal efficiency. A good-size berth is created by a mattress positioned above the washer and dryer, providing an additional sleeping option whenever needed. The room is further appointed with a hanging locker and a TV, and benefits from two opening portlights that bring in fresh air and natural light.
Crew quarters
Located aft and reached via a private entrance from the cockpit, the crew accommodations mirror the yacht’s elevated craftsmanship with rich wood accents, granite surfaces, and Grohe fixtures. A large double bed to port and a single to starboard are complemented by a welcoming lounge area and dinette, with a bench seat and table set near the centerline for relaxed gatherings. Forward, a storage cabinet integrates the dedicated crew sink and crew refrigerator, while a separate crew microwave stands ready for quick convenience. The full head is arranged on the centerline with its own toilet and sink, and the crew sink is purposefully positioned outside the head for practical day-to-day use. Just aft of the head, the lazarette provides generous storage and features a transom door for effortless access to the swim platform. Crafted with thoughtful design and high-end finishes, these quarters ensure the crew feels at home, fostering comfort, happiness, and efficient service underway.
Hull/deck
TURANGALILA is crafted from state-of-the-art materials using modern techniques that prioritize strength, lightweight performance, and puncture resistance, with a hull form engineered for safety, efficiency, and fuel economy across the speed range. Marlow’s proprietary dry stack Resin Infusion Vacuum Assisted Transfer (RIVAT) process minimizes unnecessary bulk while elevating structural integrity and handling, and Corecell foam contributes notable strength, durability, and water resistance.
Below the waterline, twin Velocijet strut keels and propeller tunnels align thrust more efficiently with the hull, advancing performance and protection while enhancing propeller safety, particularly in shallow waters or during low-speed groundings.
On deck, custom non-skid surfaces and broad waterways ensure confident footing and rapid runoff, while teak decking accents the foredeck, aft deck, and side decks with timeless warmth. The anchoring suite features twin vertical, yacht-controlled anchor windlasses, a chain anchor rode, and two primary anchors—a stainless-steel plow and a Bruce—augmented by Danforth ground tackle; large foredeck cleats and hawse pipes simplify handling, and heavy-duty hatches and stainless-steel railings reinforce safety. Practical luxuries include expansive seating designed for comfort with integrated storage for fenders and lines, tank fills accessible from both sides, and a sliding watertight tempered glass entry door. Additional amenities comprise a retractable heavy-duty stainless-steel-and-teak swim ladder, underwater lighting that highlights the hull at night, and a day head thoughtfully positioned in the command bridge.
Engine mechanical
The engine room aboard Turangalila is exceptionally spacious and purpose-built for effortless access to every system and piece of equipment. Fuel tanks are positioned forward to optimize weight distribution and simplify maintenance, while twin generators—each in its own custom sound shield—are complemented by dual sea chests cross‑plumbed for redundancy, improving cooling efficiency and safety and providing easier service access than conventional arrangements. Two cross‑connected sea chest water intakes with cleanouts, color‑coded piping, gel‑coated bilges, LED engine room lighting, and back‑lighted electrical panels further underscore a meticulous approach to engineering clarity and serviceability.
Power comes from twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines rated at 1,800 HP each, delivering top speeds exceeding 29 knots. The engines are mounted on soft motor mounts and set on polished stainless‑steel beds over carbon fiber stringers to minimize vibration and enhance performance, while a carbon fiber thrust plate absorbs and transfers propulsion loads smoothly into the hull. An underwater exhaust keeps operation refined and quiet, and an engine room lead/foam sound and heat insulation system, four high‑volume engine room blowers, and carbon monoxide detectors in all berthing spaces contribute to comfort and safety.
A full hydraulic package features a pump on the power takeoff of each transmission and a large oil supply tank mounted on the aft engine room wall. This robust system drives the Naiad fin stabilizers along with upgraded 30 HP hydraulic bow and stern thrusters for confident close‑quarters control, complemented by a Yacht Controller for precise wireless maneuvering.
Electrical power is abundant and carefully managed with twin 32 kW generators, each housed in its own sound shield, and two 29 kW Onan generators in custom sound shields, supported by two 3,500‑watt inverters and chargers, a 24‑volt 60‑amp charger, a 12‑volt 40‑amp charger, and two ISO transformers. Shore power flexibility includes one forward 100‑amp and one 50‑amp inlet, plus one aft 100‑amp and one aft 50‑amp shore power cord on Glendenning Cable Masters.
Fuel and fluid systems are engineered for reliability and ease of service, including an FRP fuel tank of 3,420 gallons with sump and cleanout, a fuel manifold with proprietary sight gauge, and dual Racor fuel filters with pressure gauges for each engine and generator. Safety and maintenance are bolstered by a fire suppressant system, a heavy‑duty 3,700 GPH bilge pump with high‑water alarm, and a dedicated oil change system. A Drypoint Demister air intake system protects machinery from moisture ingress, while a common drainage system from bow to stern collects deck drain, scupper, and sump discharges. Holding capacities include gray water at 200 gallons and black water at 200 gallons with both dockside and at‑sea discharge controls, plus a fresh water tank of 400 gallons, completing a thoroughly integrated mechanical platform designed for dependable performance and effortless ownership.
Navigation & entertainment electronics
The helm and living spaces are comprehensively outfitted with three Garmin GPSMAP 8622 twenty-two-inch HD touchscreen multifunction displays with GPS antenna, all fed by a CAT engine data interface to the Garmin chart plotters. Sonar performance comes from a Garmin GSD-24 digital black box sounder paired with an Airmar B260 1kw TH bronze 010-10640-20, while situational awareness is elevated by a Garmin GMR1226xhd2-6 12kw open array radar with a 6' antenna, complemented by a second radar, the Garmin Fantom 6 40 w solid state GMR radar with a 6' antenna k10-00012-14. Precision guidance is delivered by the Garmin GHP Reactor hydraulic corepack with SmartPump autopilot. Communications are assured by two VHF Icom IC-M506 radios with rear mics and NMEA 2000, alongside an AIS Garmin ais-600 and a Garmin GXM52 XM satellite WX antenna. Seamless connectivity at sea is provided by Starlink internet, an Aigean AN-7000 long range marine WiFi operating on 2.4ghz and 5ghz, and a Cradlepoint cellular device. Entertainment is equally refined, featuring a CB Audio Sonos Connect Amp, a salon AV Sonos Playbar with surround sound, Sonos for the master, and Fusion radios serving the VIP and port guest staterooms, all paired with a KVH TracVision hd7 US SAT TV system. Comprehensive onboard monitoring is delivered by a camera suite that includes three in the engine room, one on the aft deck, one in the salon looking aft, one in the galley looking aft, one in the lazarette looking aft, and one on the flybridge hardtop looking aft.
