Overview
MIOUCH is Hull No. 1 of the Numarine 40MXP and the first example of this 40-metre explorer-style motor yacht to be presented on the brokerage market.
Conceived for effortless entertaining, MIOUCH showcases a bespoke layout that invites family and friends to gather in style. Each deck is curated to deliver its own atmosphere, with generous zones to unwind, dine, and share the moment. Aft on the main deck, tiered terraces orbit the showpiece infinity pool, embracing open-air dining, a full bar, elegant loose furniture, and wide sliding glass doors that disappear to merge the main salon with the outdoors. Up on the bridge deck, a capacious sky lounge offers a cinema/TV area, interior dining, and a complete bar, while more sliding doors reveal an extraordinarily large aft terrace with sun loungers and a custom pool featuring a swim-up bar. External deck space of this magnitude is rarely encountered on 45–50m superyachts—let alone a 40m—making it genuinely distinctive. Capping it all is the sundeck, protected by an extended hardtop and arranged with bespoke dining for 14–20 guests plus a forward-facing bar that turns every passage or anchorage into a front-row view.
Accommodations are arranged for 14 guests in 7 cabins, complemented by crew quarters for 7–8, with the captain’s cabin positioned on the upper deck for direct access to the bridge—an ideal tri-deck superyacht layout for private cruising or luxury yacht operations.
Unparalleled within the 40MXP series, MIOUCH boasts two expansive pools. The signature, centerline infinity pool defines the main deck aft, while the upper deck’s davit was purposefully deleted to create a dramatic, oversized custom pool with a swim-up bar—an arresting design statement, especially after dusk when the water glows with ambient lighting.
A full-beam hydraulic swim platform enhances the beach club experience, providing effortless access to the sea and the capacity to carry a tender up to 6.5m, an elegant solution that complements the removal of the upper deck davit.
Departing from the conventional white tri-deck look, MIOUCH wears a bespoke metallic gold hull, further illuminated after dark by underwater lights that trace the yacht’s perimeter for a luminous, head-turning presence.
Lightly run and privately owned from new, MIOUCH is a low-hour vessel enjoyed seasonally by the owner, family, and friends—an exceptional superyacht opportunity in the contemporary explorer motor yacht category.
Detailed Description
Key features
Engineered for composed, quiet passages and restful nights at anchor, the yacht employs zero speed electric fin stabilization supported by three 70 Auto Sync generators for robust, seamless power management. Onboard climate comfort is assured by full air conditioning and heating with a central chiller and fresh-air make-up, delivering 480,000 BTU through individually controlled fan coils in every cabin. Autonomy is enhanced by two 230 I/h water makers, while precision handling comes from an electric bow thruster rated at 90 kW and a stern thruster at 45 kW. Ground tackle is equally capable, with an electric twin anchor windlass served by 18 mm chain measuring 140 + 190 m, complemented by twin stern capstan winches.
Electrical systems are comprehensive, combining a 24 V DC service battery with a 220 V AC electrical system, a 380 V, 125 A twin shore supply, and 380 V AC shore power with automatic reclaim and dedicated battery chargers. Deck living is effortless with a hot and cold swimming shower at the stern and a flybridge wet bar featuring a sink, hot and cold water, electric barbecue, icemaker, and refrigerator, while a flybridge sunbed with cushions invites relaxation. Finishes include teak laid across the bathing platform and steps, side decks and foredeck, the flybridge stairway, and both flybridge and cockpit floors. A 3,000 kg capacity tender crane simplifies launch and retrieval, and a fully fitted crew cabin supports professional service. Practical touches extend to antifouling protection, six underwater lights, and a fuel polishing system.
Entertainment and navigation are thoroughly modern: flat-screen televisions are fitted in all guest cabins, the captain’s cabin, and the crew mess, all with SAT connection, augmented by a 75-inch TV in the saloon and 65-inch screens in the Owner’s Cabin and the Master Cabin, plus a satellite TV system with an 85 cm dish. The Raymarine suite delivers electronic depth and speed displays, autopilot, and VHF with AIS, together with two radars and a plotter presented over two 16-inch and three 22-inch displays, and a remote-controlled searchlight enhances night operations. Situational awareness is further elevated by six cameras with a monitor in the wheelhouse and crew mess. Safety systems include an automatic fire extinguishing system for the engine room, automatic bilge pumps, four life rafts SOLAS B10 man, GMDSS, and Navtex NX300 or equivalent. Hotel services are rounded out by a twin pump hot and cold water pressurized system with shore connection. The yacht is built with RINA C + Hull Mach, Y Unrestricted Navigation Yacht Monitoring System.
Optional extras
Elevate the experience with an array of bespoke enhancements, including two custom pools: a main deck aft infinity pool and a massive upper deck pool with sim-up bar. Additional underwater lights surround the entire yacht, casting a captivating glow after dark. A seven-cabin layout sleeps fourteen guests, while a custom sundeck arrangement provides expansive dining for fourteen to twenty guests complemented by a custom bar area. A full beam hydraulic swim platform streamlines access to the sea, and propulsion is specified as MAN D2862 LE 427 900 bhp @1800 rpm - IMO T-III (SCR). An extended hard top adds shade and poise, and the upper deck is configured with a salon instead of a cabin.
About the 40MXP
The 40MXP is an evolution of the popular XP series, created by Numarine to offer its clientele a distinctive alternative within the range. Complementing the acclaimed 37XP, the 40MXP replaces the aft beach club/garage with a jacuzzi, a double-wide swim platform, and an enlarged aft deck, transforming the more traditional 37XP arrangement into what we call the Mediterranean Explorer, or MXP.
By eliminating the garage/beach club, the swim platform could be expanded, increasing length overall from 37m to 40m. The jacuzzi creates an inviting, water-level retreat, and by moving the aft deck sliding doors forward, the aft main deck exterior has grown, converting a portion of the 37XP’s expansive main salon into open-air living. You still enjoy the substantial volume associated with the 37XP, now with a more harmonious balance between exterior and interior spaces.
The sundeck, boat deck, and interior layout options mirror those of the 37XP, with the only major change located at the transom. The 40MXP also delivers an impressive range of 4,500nm at cruise speeds.
As an abbreviation for Mediterranean Explorer, MXP offers a compelling alternative to the traditional garage, favoring a more casual, relaxed lifestyle at sea—an approach already resonating with owners, with three sold and Hull No. 4 delivering later this year.
