Detailed Description

Key features

From 2020 through 2024, this yacht has benefited from an extensive program of enhancements that elevate every facet of performance, reliability, and comfort. The exterior received new teak decks in 2024 along with a new Permeteek deck on the bow, swim platform, cockpit, and walkways. Underway capability was refined with brand‑new fully balanced props in 2024, complemented by new Nibal five‑blade 42‑inch F‑1 finish props, new cutlass bearings, complete new main engine exhaust systems, and new exhaust elbows, insulation, and cover. Command and navigation were comprehensively modernized with four bridge command monitors connected to Furuno TZ touch2’s and two new helm command monitors likewise connected to Furuno TZ touch2’s; twin 12 kW Furuno six‑foot open‑array radar; a Furuno digital fish finder 33 transducers; a Furuno AIS transmitter and receiver; and Furuno RD30 instruments with a repeater in the owner and crew quarters. Control and situational awareness are further strengthened by Glendining controls, a Simrad Autopilot, port and starboard Wink command stations, a Night Watch entire ship’s monitoring system, a Sirius WX weather monitoring system, and an Airmare Wx station monitoring system. Visibility and safety are enhanced by Canalupi overhead light with dimmer controls, CCTV cameras, an arch camera for tender‑towing view, a CCTV monitoring system displayed on LCD monitors, new engine‑room cameras, and a high‑water bilge alarm system, while a new ship’s computer supports helm navigation software and related functions.

Onboard comfort and amenities are equally comprehensive, with two new six‑ton AC compressors and fourteen new air handlers, chillers, and controls throughout the vessel, including the engineer room; all lights changed to LEDs throughout; all Tecma heads reworked and serviced; and a central vacuum system. Entertainment is upgraded with new Samsung TVs, a new stereo system, DVD, CD, and Direct TV receivers, plus a Fusion stereo. Electrical and power management include new batteries throughout, a 24 DC service system for batteries, two Magnum 4 kW invertors, two 24 chargers for main engines and generators, a back‑up charger for service batteries, and two 75 amp engine alternators. Domestic systems feature two new hot water heaters and a Dometic Water maker XTC2 1400 GPD, alongside a Samsung oversize washer and dryer, a new chest freezer, a new Subzero refrigerator compressor, coils, and seals, a new silent dishwasher, a new quiet disposal, and a new 15‑inch trash compacter. Practical upgrades continue with custom storage racks over the generators, a rebuilt hydraulic manifold, all new head pumps and all new bilge pumps, and a total rebuild of the sliding glass door with new motors, etc. Below the waterline, protection is provided by Coppercoat complete hull ten–fifteen‑plus year bottom job as well as Coppercoat 10‑year bottom paint. Finally, the flexible accommodation plan with a convertible fourth stateroom underscores an exceptional platform for long‑range cruising, diving, and fishing.

Accommodations

Seas To See offers three generously sized double staterooms, each with an ensuite head, and showcases Paragon’s innovative design that allows the aft VIP lounge to convert into a partitioned double bunk cabin. The full-beam master suite is positioned amidships and reached via a private stairway from the main salon, where a center-line king-sized berth is flanked by bedside cabinets and reading lamps, and a flat-panel TV with a Bose sound system faces the bed. To starboard, a settee sits beside a generous cedar-lined closet, while to port a makeup vanity is paired with a large chest of drawers and a laundry center. Aft, his-and-her ensuite heads feature a stone-lined shower and a Jacuzzi tub.

The two VIP queen staterooms are accessed by a stairway from the pilothouse. Forward, the VIP offers an island queen berth surrounded by abundant storage and two cedar-lined hanging lockers, with a flat-panel TV and Bose sound system facing the berth; aft is the ensuite head with a stone-lined shower and countertops. The aft full-beam VIP features a center-line walk-around queen berth; to port, generous storage cabinets and a cedar-lined hanging locker complement the space, while to starboard a chest of drawers, a cedar-lined hanging locker, and a lounge area that converts into a partitioned bunk cabin enhance flexibility. Facing the queen berth is a flat-panel TV with a Bose sound system, and forward lies the ensuite head with a stone-lined shower and countertops.

Accessible from a separate stairway at the aft end of the main salon and also through a watertight door in the cockpit, the captain’s cabin is located aft of the machinery spaces and forward of the cockpit. This well-appointed double-berth cabin reflects the yacht’s high level of finish, complete with a desk and a cedar-lined hanging locker; facing the berth is a flat-panel TV with a stereo system, along with a VHF radio and basic instrumentation. Aft is the ensuite head with solid-surface countertops and a shower. The crew lounge further demonstrates Paragon’s innovative approach with an optional partition that creates a single crew cabin and incorporates a laundry center.

Salon

Aft of the galley, the main salon unfolds as a generous and welcoming expanse of beautifully handcrafted woodwork, coffered ceilings, and custom furnishings. Large windows and a French sliding door flood the space with natural light and provide exhilarating views while underway, enhanced by large Freeman sliding aft doors with fixed glass windows that seamlessly connect interior and exterior. Privacy and sun protection come at the touch of a button thanks to automatic, remote-controlled window treatments.

On the forward bulkhead, a custom cabinet crowned with a burl wood top conceals a large Samsung TV and full entertainment center, complemented by a wine cooler, a large icemaker, and considerable wine bottle and glass storage for effortless service. Illumination is refined and flexible, with Cantalupi LED overhead lighting and dimmer controls (2020), while the carpeted sole, backed by Soundown barrier padding and an extensive floor dampening system, reduces noise and vibration to create a serene onboard atmosphere.

To port, a custom built-in settee with a table invites relaxed conversation, while to starboard, two chairs with a matching table form an elegant seating vignette. Discreet, private stairways lead directly to the master cabin and to the aft utility room/captain’s cabin, with the salon layout providing convenient access via the stairway to the captain’s quarters aft to port and to the master stateroom to starboard.

Owner stateroom

Privately accessed via a dedicated stairway from the salon, the full-beam owner’s retreat is climate-controlled by an air conditioning system (2020) and centers on a king-size walkaround berth with large drawers and abundant storage below. Nightstands with drawers flank the berth, while to starboard a sofa sits opposite a hanging locker with a washer/dryer hookup; to port, a dresser cabinet is paired with a refined desk and vanity area. Storage is exceptional, with a cedar-lined hanging and walk-in closet complete with shoe racks, and illumination is thoughtfully layered with two wall-mounted reading lamps, Cantalupi overhead lights on dimmer controls upgraded to LED in 2020, and accent lighting. Entertainment is equally polished, featuring a Samsung TV (2020), Bose surround sound, and overhead stereo speakers with independent volume control.

Ensuite his-and-her heads are appointed with granite countertops and flooring, Tecma full-size ceramic bowl heads, Grohe faucets and shower controls, and an overhead exhaust fan, with her side indulgently fitted with a Jacuzzi tub.

VIP stateroom

The VIP stateroom centers on a queen-size walkaround berth, complemented by cedar-lined hanging lockers and opening ports to starboard and port that invite natural light and sea breezes. Climate control is assured by an air conditioning system installed in 2020, while Cantalupi overhead lighting on dimmer controls, upgraded to LED in 2020, and accent lighting set the mood, with two wall-mounted reading lamps for personal illumination. Entertainment is handled by a Samsung TV (2020) paired with Bose surround sound. The private head features a portlight, granite countertop and flooring, a ceramic sink, a shower, and a Tecma head, all finished with Grohe faucets and shower fixtures and supported by an overhead exhaust fan. A cleverly designed settee area converts to a bunk stateroom complete with its own head and wash basin.

Forward guest stateroom

At the bow, the forward guest stateroom welcomes with a queen-size island berth offering hinged access to the storage below, while climate control comes courtesy of an air conditioning system installed in 2020. Thoughtful stowage includes cedar-lined hanging lockers and port and starboard outboard storage lockers, complemented by an overhead ventilation and escape hatch fitted with OceanAir screens. Illumination blends ambiance and function through Cantalupi overhead lights on dimmer controls that were upgraded to LED in 2020, two wall-mounted reading lamps, and accent lighting, with an overhead exhaust fan ensuring fresh air. Entertainment is provided by a Samsung TV (2020) paired with a Bose surround sound system. Completing the suite, the head presents a portlight, granite countertop and flooring, a ceramic sink, a shower, Grohe faucets and shower fixtures, and a Tecma head.

Galley

Aft of the pilothouse, the galley unfolds with beautiful marble countertops and a breakfast bar, set over a teak and holly sole with a floating floor system. Abundant storage is thoughtfully integrated, including a lifting storage compartment in the forward corner, while a double sink with a spray-handle faucet anchors the workspace alongside an Insinkerator instant hot water dispenser and an Insinkerator stainless garbage disposal with a countertop air switch fitted in 2020. Cold storage is exceptional with two Sub-Zero full-height refrigerator/freezers with freezer drawers, both upgraded with new compressors and control boards in 2020, and cleanup is handled by a KitchenAid dishwasher installed in 2020 and a trash compactor added in 2020. Cooking conveniences include a Thermador glass stovetop paired with a below-counter oven, complemented by a GE Profile convection microwave oven with an exhaust fan, while daily rituals are elevated by an Oster toaster, a Ninja blender, a Crux drip coffee maker, and a Keurig coffee and espresso machine from 2020. Comfort and efficiency come courtesy of an air conditioning system installed in 2020 and overhead lighting converted to LED the same year. A weathertight, port-side hinged Freeman door opens from the galley to the side deck, streamlining provisioning and trash removal, and the galley remains open to the pilothouse with an optional partition available when desired.

Pilothouse

Accessed via port and starboard side doors, the pilothouse delivers commanding sightlines through flat‑panel 10mm tempered glass forward, complete with windshield washers and wipers, while large side windows further enhance visibility. At the center helm, two Pompanette helm chairs in custom leather face a modern glass‑bridge console anchored by four Bridge Command monitors integrated with Furuno TZ Touch 2 displays (2020), dual 12kw Furuno NavNet radars with a 6’ open array (2020), a Furuno digital fish finder/sounder with three transducers (2020), Furuno AIS transmit and receive (2020), and Furuno RD30 instruments with repeaters in the owner and crew cabins (2020). For all‑weather confidence, the Exalto heavy‑duty variable‑speed windshield wiper system pairs with a dedicated windshield heating and defrosting system. Vigilant awareness comes courtesy of CCTV cameras, international navigation lights supplemented by overhead red navigation lights, and a Night watch entire‑vessel monitoring system (2020). On the environmental front, a Sirius WX weather monitoring system (2020), an Airmar WX station monitoring system (2020), and a Furuno weather station (2020) keep the bridge fully informed. Guests enjoy a raised U‑shaped settee aft with a pedestal‑mounted wood‑inlaid table, stereo speakers overhead with volume control, and convenient chart storage lockers, while port and starboard side‑door access eases movement to the side decks. Rich mahogany cabinetry and a teak and holly cabin sole elevate the ambiance, and Cantalupi overhead lights on dimmer controls—changed to LED in 2020—along with an air conditioning system (2020) ensure comfort and poise underway.

Day head

Located to starboard across from the galley, the day head is appointed with a Tecma head and an efficient exhaust fan, while Cantalupi overhead lights on a dimmer—upgraded to LED in 2020—provide tailored illumination, complemented by refined accent lighting at the cabinet base and along the valance.

Flybridge

The flybridge is reached by a stairway from the pilothouse or via a second stairway from the aft deck, revealing a commanding center helm with a double Pompanette helm chair and L-shaped settees aft to port and starboard crowned by beautiful, handcrafted wood tabletops, including a large table for relaxed dining and conversation. Port and starboard wing stations provide full engine controls, while the center helm boasts completely new instrumentation and navigation electronics, highlighted by two Furuno TZ Touch 2 NavNet displays (2020), a Simrad autopilot (2020), a Simrad VHF with command mic and remote (2020), Caterpillar engine displays (2020), and Glendenning engine controls (2020). For confident docking and maneuvering, port and starboard wing command stations add comprehensive engine, bow thruster, and stern thruster controls (2021). Entertainment and situational awareness are enhanced by a Fusion stereo (2020) and a camera mounted on the arch for monitoring the tender in tow (2020).

Aft to port, an outdoor galley invites alfresco gatherings with a BBQ grill, sink, refrigeration, ice maker, dedicated lockers, and elegant granite countertops, while to starboard a comfortable booth seating area offers a sheltered perch under a fiberglass hardtop with an innovative retractable canvas sunroof. When desired, sliding Barrat glass panels transform the space into a climate-controlled retreat, creating an inviting haven rain or shine. Thoughtful details abound, from generous storage lockers to refined accent lighting at the base of all cabinets and seating areas.

Aft of the flybridge lies the boat deck, engineered around a 2500 lb Steel Head hydraulic davit that secures a tender on removable stainless-steel chocks, freeing the deck for versatile use when the tender is deployed. Specified as a 2500 lb (2000 lb extended reach) Steelhead hydraulic davit with hydraulic rotation, its ram was rebuilt in 2022 for assured reliability. Practicality meets polish with non-skid cambered decks plumbed to ensure no standing water, a fresh-water washdown and outboard engine flush hookup station, and a chest freezer. Safety and serviceability are equally well considered, with a 406 EPIRB featuring a hydrostatic release and a smooth finish on all bilge areas to ease inspection and maintenance.

Crew cabin and utility area

Accessed from the cockpit or via a companionway aft of the salon, this versatile crew cabin and utility area brings together professional systems and thoughtful comforts for life at sea. Centralized AC and DC breaker panels are positioned for swift operation, complemented by a Nightwatch monitoring system (2020) for enhanced oversight. Entertainment and climate control are seamlessly integrated with a flat screen TB (2020), a stereo and speakers with volume control, and an air conditioning system (2020). Natural airflow comes courtesy of two opening ports, while extra crew berths to port expand accommodations. Practical workspaces include large countertops and spare parts storage lockers, with dedicated lockers for fishing rods and reels to keep gear organized. The galley is outfitted with a sink and faucet, a microwave (2020), and a refrigerator (2021), and is supported by an air compressor hookup. Daily operations are streamlined by a large capacity washer and dryer (2018), while a Bauer Yachtsman dive compressor stands ready for underwater adventures.

Captain’s quarters

Accessed either from the cockpit or through a companionway at the aft of the salon, the captain’s quarters blend functionality and comfort. A wide, elevated berth is complemented by large lockers, two drawers, and a large file cabinet, with an opening port above the berth to invite natural light and fresh air. Climate control is assured by an air conditioning system upgraded in 2020, while entertainment and communication are covered by a stereo system and an Icom VHF radio. Navigation data is presented on a Furuno RD-30 navigation display installed in 2020, and an LCD TV added in 2020 displays both Furuno NavNet data and the CCTV monitoring system. Illumination comes from Cantalupi overhead lighting with dimmer controls, converted to LED in 2020, and the ensuite is finished with a Tecma head and a ceramic sink fitted with Grohe faucets and shower fixtures.

Hull and deck equipment

From bow to stern, the main deck presents full, broad walkaround decks finished in new synthetic teak laid in 2024, with all exterior stainless in 316-grade for enduring luster. On the foredeck, a large U-shaped settee with a removable table and filler piece transforms into a wind-protected sun pad, flanked by generous storage lockers to port and starboard. A watertight forward deck hatch provides access to the anchor well, while an additional escape and ventilation hatch serves the forward guest stateroom. Freshwater and saltwater wash-down hookups are conveniently positioned at the bow, and a freshwater high-pressure anchor chain wash system keeps ground tackle pristine. There is ample room to deploy the stainless-steel Bruce anchor, and the ground tackle is further enhanced by a Maxwell 4500 bow windlass paired with a 250 lb plow-type anchor and 400’ x 5/8” high-test chain. A fire hose resides in the starboard forward bow locker with 15’ of hose, and dockside pressure freshwater hookups with quick-release fittings are fitted at both bow and stern. Port and starboard bulwark doors ease dockside access, while elegant overhead Cantalupi lights on dimmer controls line the walkaround overheads, complemented by courtesy lights installed throughout the main-deck walkarounds in 2021.

Aft, the deck invites al fresco dining with two pedestal-mounted handcrafted wood tables, a large molded bench seat aft, and space for pull-up chairs. Forward to starboard, a TV tops a storage cabinet with refrigerator and a sink/wet bar, while forward to port the stairway rises to the boat deck; outboard of the stairway, a wing station provides engine controls. A dedicated port-side locker adds a remote plug for engine and thruster controls, and the aft deck is equipped with overhead stereo speakers, floodlights facing aft, and two warping winches. A starboard-side storage cabinet with refrigerator further supports entertaining, and a Marquipt boarding ladder stands ready for easy embarkation.

Twin cascading stairways aft of the dining area lead down to the eight-foot cockpit Beach Club, a water-level haven featuring a 70-gallon bait tank, built-in sink, a large lazarette, and a “Hookah” dive system. Double transom doors open to a four-foot integrated swim step fitted with removable stainless Staple Rails, a hands-free hot and cold water transom shower, a saltwater spigot, a swim ladder, and underwater lights installed in 2019. Port and starboard stairways connect the cockpit and aft deck seamlessly, while a fire station to port aft carries a 15’ hose. At the stern, a Maxwell Liberty 2500 windlass with all-chain rode completes the mooring and anchoring suite. Assorted life jackets, fenders, and lines are aboard for readiness and safety.

Beneath the surface, thoughtful engineering routes bilge water, air-conditioning condensate, scupper run-off, and related discharges below the waterline via manifolds for quiet operation. Deck rainwater can be diverted and collected to replenish the freshwater tanks when desired. The hull benefits from a COPPERCOAT® 10-to-15-year bottom application completed in 2020, underscoring the yacht’s commitment to performance, low maintenance, and enduring seaworthiness.

Machinery and electrical

Freshly fitted propellers in 2024 drive two Caterpillar C30 1,550 hp diesel engines showing 4,849 hours to port and 4,814 hours to starboard as of 12/2023. Power is transmitted through two ZF #2050A electronic marine reduction gears with torsional couplings and vibration dampeners, all set on Rubber Design soft vibration‑dampening mounts for both engines and transmissions. Both main engine exhaust systems, from turbos to mufflers, were replaced in 2023, and new Cat color engine display monitors were added in 2020. The running gear features Aquamet 3 ½‑inch propeller shafts with Rubber Design flex couplings, bronze V‑struts with cutlass bearings, and Tides Dripless propeller and rudder shaft seals. Glendinning electronic engine controls are installed at the pilothouse helm, wing stations, and flybridge helm (2021), while a dual Hynautic power‑assisted steering system, Wesmar engine‑driven hydraulic 60 hp bow and stern thrusters, Wesmar 16 sq ft fin stabilizers, and a Maxwell #4500 anchor windlass with three‑station controls complete a confident handling and anchoring package.

Ship’s power is supported by a Northern Lights 33 kw diesel generator in a sound shield with 9,850 hours as of 12/2023, and a Northern Lights 20 kw diesel generator in a sound shield with 6,647 hours as of 12/2023, rebuilt at 4,000 hours. A custom storage rack was installed above the generators in 2021. Fuel filtration is handled by dual Racor fuel filters and water separators with vacuum gauges for each engine. Electrical reserves were refreshed with new main engine start batteries in 2022, new generator start batteries in 2020, and new 24DC service system batteries in 2020. Two Magnum 4 kw 120‑amp inverter/chargers for the ship’s service system batteries were added in 2022, complemented by new 24v chargers for the main engine and generator batteries in 2021 and a back‑up 24v charger for the service bank. Charging underway is managed by two 75‑amp engine alternators for the start batteries and two 160‑amp large‑frame engine alternators for the ship’s service batteries. Shore connectivity includes two Charles Marine ISO‑Boost short power isolation transformers, 50‑amp shore power inlets aft and forward, and a 100‑amp shore power inlet aft with a Glendenning cable master, plus phone/TV inlets aft and forward. Protection and grounding are ensured by an electrolysis and bonding system with copper strapping connected to zinc plates at the transom, and by vapor‑proof battery selector switches.

Climate control comes courtesy of two 6‑ton Dometic chilled water Titanium air conditioning systems with surgeless start‑up installed in 2021, with all fourteen air handlers replaced the same year. A central vacuum system was also added in 2021.

Engine‑room readiness is enhanced by an automatic fire extinguishing system, an engine room camera system with new cameras in 2020, and two sea chests dedicated to specific raw‑water intakes. Bilge management includes six 24‑volt bilge pumps renewed in 2020, a high‑water bilge alarm system with new switches and sensors in 2020, a 12v oil change system serving the main engines and generators, and a 220V 60 GPH emergency bilge pump system. Ventilation is handled by a Delta T positive‑pressure air intake system with fire flaps and demisters, updated with new control screens in 2020. Domestic systems include 20‑gallon and 30‑gallon hot water heaters (both 2020), Headhunter freshwater system pumps with filters (2020), a 500‑gallon holding tank with deck fittings and two macerator pumps for overboard discharge, 110‑volt florescent lighting in the engine room and utility room (2020), a Whale high‑output manual bilge pump, and a Dometic Water Maker XTC2 rated at 1,400 GPD (2021).

Remarks

Sea To See is an excellent long-range, fuel-efficient cockpit motoryacht with the capability to accelerate to 21 knots when needed. She has primarily been cruised at 10 knots, burning 21 gallons per hour, and offers a maximum range of 2,250 nautical miles. She has been continuously upgraded every year, with over $1 million invested in 2020 alone. Sea To See is in very good condition and well priced.

Purchased by her current owner in 2017, she has cruised extensively throughout the US East Coast, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and Mexico. In late 2019 a neighboring sailboat was struck by lightning, sending stray current underwater that caused damage to certain electrical equipment aboard Sea To See. In 2020 the owner elected to replace every electrical component aboard the boat, and she has cruised problem-free since. The only known deficiency is that her exterior gelcoat needs ceramic polishing; she is otherwise in very good condition throughout and ready for her next owner.
