Detailed Description
Equipment
Powered by one diesel CUMMINS QSB 6.7 with direct injection, turbocharging and after-cooling delivering 425 hp at a rated speed of 3000 rpm, this yacht runs a six-cylinder plant with a total displacement of 6,7 liters, a 24 V DC electric starting motor, and fuel consumption at rated power of 82.2 liters/h, turning a Bruntons Propeller Varifold with four blades.
The electrical architecture provides 400 V 50 Hz AC three phase and 230 V 50 Hz AC single phase for main power supply, with 24 V DC dedicated to secondary services, lighting and emergency lighting, electronics, and alarms. Generation is ensured by a Northern Lights 32 kW, 230/400 V, mono-phase and neutral, 50 Hz unit equipped with one PTO for the hydraulic system, complemented by one emergency generator, model Paguro 18 kW 10Hr. Shore power arrives through one 63 amp, nominal 380 VAC three-phase connector. Energy storage is organized as follows: a 24 V, 140 Ah battery system for starting the main engine (group a); a 24 V, 140 Ah battery system for starting the generator (group b); a 24 V, 1440 Ah battery system for services (group c); a 24 V, 540 Ah battery system for lights (group d); and a 24 V, 200 Ah battery system for electronics and the RTF station (radio) (group e), with a parallel system provided between groups a and b, and between c and d.
The rig presents an all‑carbon Southern Spar mast with ECsix standing rigging, and the mast was repainted in Awlgrip this winter. The main sails—mainsail, jib, and staysail—are new from 2025 and produced by North Sails, while the Code 0, from Doyle Sailmakers, is from 2024. All rigging, as well as much of the principal equipment, underwent overhaul and inspection last winter (2025) during the RINA five‑yearly inspection and survey.
Electrical and navigation equipment includes three 100 Ah battery chargers for groups c, d, and e, and one 50 Ah battery charger for groups a and b; one inverter 2,5 kW max (1,8 kW continuous sinusoidal) serving the electronic system and one inverter 2,5 kW max (1,8 kW continuous sinusoidal) for the galley and sockets. Two magnetic compasses are installed in way of the steering pedestal. A B&G H5000 suite integrates wind, depth, log, compass, and autopilot functions, comprising one HERCULES processor, five 30/30 displays, eight GFD displays—four on deck and four inside—one Zeus 16 display with keyboard, one Furuno commercial display, one T&T SatPhone, one Sailor VHF commercial radio, one speed sensor, one depth/temp sensor, one mast head wind sensor, one motion sensor, one compass sensor, one GPS, one radar system, and an autopilot system computer and controller display.
Communications are equally comprehensive, featuring one VHF with DSC and cockpit outlet, one AIS system, two portable VHF radio GMDSS units, one 4G/HSDPA deck antenna, one RX/TX deck wi‑fi antenna, an on board wi‑fi network, one Starlink antenna, and one fog horn.
