Detailed Description
Introduction
The Euroyacht Planet 125S is a 38.41-metre Italian-built superyacht that, at launch, stood as the flagship of Versilcraft. This Planet 125S Hard Top, delivered in 2010, is appointed with a full teak deck, a GRP hull, and a GRP superstructure, and was constructed to the demanding RINA classification standard RINA C ✠ HULL ● MACH Y.
Inside, the main deck unfolds as an expansive, three-zone living environment: a generous sitting area for relaxed conversation, a wet bar with three barstools, and an impressive dining table set over elegant white marble flooring, accompanied by a free-standing wine cooler to safeguard and perfectly present special bottles. A discreet corridor opposite the bar leads forward to the cabins and the day head on the starboard side, preserving flow and privacy.
High-gloss woodwork and carefully curated Italian furnishings deliver a refined ambiance of comfort and luxury. Outdoors, a substantial aft deck invites al fresco entertaining and dining, while the enclosed flybridge lounge on the upper deck creates a second indoor saloon crowned by a large sunroof. Aft, glass doors open onto an outdoor balcony with ample room for socialising, sun-lounging, and open-air meals. Forward, sun pads, built-in seating, and two teak coffee tables offer secluded relaxation, and an electrical windlass arrangement also enables two jetskis or tenders to be stowed on deck.
Performance comes from three Caterpillar C32 diesel engines delivering a top speed of 20 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 15 knots, with true long-range cruising capability. Electrical power is supplied by two Kohler John Deere 89 kW generators. Accommodation comprises 4 en-suite staterooms for up to 9 guests, and 3 crew cabins with 3 crew bathrooms for a complement of 6. With a gross tonnage of 269 GT and a 7.32-metre beam, the yacht balances volume, poise, and capability. Priced to sell, viewing is by appointment.
Interiors features & equipment
The saloon welcomes you with an electric door system into a world of gloss walnut craftsmanship and stylish Italian furniture, where sofas upholstered in premium fabric or leather flank a refined coffee table and a fixed dining table with chairs comfortably seats 10 guests. Entertainment is thoughtfully integrated, with furniture housing a DVP SONY Multi-standard system, a BOSE LIFESTYLE 38, and a satellite receiver, complemented by a PANASONIC 50" plasma TV mounted to the wall. A marble-topped bar with sink, tap, fridge, and ice maker anchors convivial moments, while a separate fixed table with settee and chairs expands the options for casual dining and conversation.
Accommodation is conceived for both privacy and indulgence: a master cabin with a welcoming sofa, a practical study area, and a marble bathroom; plus three en-suite guest cabins arranged within a six-berth layout to ensure flexibility and comfort. The enclosed flybridge with helm station provides a commanding perch and a second climate-controlled living area, while the crew area comprises three en-suite crew cabins with six berths, ensuring discreet and efficient service.
Practicality underpins every detail, including comprehensive air conditioning; an oven with combined microwave and a separate microwave for culinary versatility; a dishwasher for effortless clean-up; and an ISE-type garbage compactor to minimise waste volume. Underway, precise handling is assured by bow thruster and stern thruster controls, electric windshield wipers with glass washing control, and a robust fuel management suite featuring an electric pump ACB 331 for fuel transferring with a reserve function in the event of ALFA LAVAL system malfunction, plus a manual fuel transfer pump EXCELSIOR 3 to ensure redundancy.
Exterior features & equipment
On deck, teakwood flooring sets a timeless tone from bow to stern. The cockpit is furnished with a loose furniture set for adaptable lounging and dining, completed by a table with sofa in the aft cockpit, while the flybridge echoes this versatility with its own loose furniture set. At the water’s edge, a generous bathing platform in GRP and teak serves as the gateway to the sea and to a tender garage, accessed by double stairways with teak-tread steps.
Forward, the bow area is engineered for both leisure and utility, featuring a crane system for water toys storage and convenient access to the forward sofa area, expansive sunbathing zones with leatherette cushions, and a ventilated storage compartment beneath the fore sun bed, opened by stainless steel hydraulic pistons. Stainless steel detailing underscores the yacht’s seakeeping: mooring bitts, bow fairleads, and stern roller fairleads, plus hawses in stainless steel with protective plates for the anchor and chain washing. Anchoring is effortless with twin electric anchor windlasses, each rated at 4000 Watt and 380 Volt, with controls at the bow and in the wheelhouse.
Operations are intuitive thanks to windlass control, flap controls, and comprehensive electronic steering and trim tabs systems complete with an electro-hydraulic gear case, alongside a dedicated trim tab system (flaps) for precise attitude. An electro-hydraulic crane with 550 kg lifting power simplifies hauling and launching jet skis. The hard top is accessible via both internal and external stairways, while SONY watertight loudspeakers in the cockpit ceiling play music sourced from the saloon. Nightfall brings the deck to life with external illumination from watertight spots, and navigation is supported by a well-sited chart table.
Electrical & Mechanical Equipment
Power is delivered by three CAT C32 engines, each producing 1,800 hp with around 2,500 hours, providing assured performance and range. Two KOHLER John Deere 89 kW generators underpin the electrical network with dependable, efficient output. Comfort is managed by a comprehensive air-conditioning system, while precise low-speed manoeuvring comes courtesy of bow and stern thrusters. Fin stabilizers enhance comfort underway, and an IDROMAR water maker extends autonomy at sea. An electrical windlass streamlines anchoring, and entertainment in the saloon is served by a TV with antenna connection.
Electronics & Navigation Equipment
The bridge is comprehensively outfitted with a SIMRAD RA84 radar featuring a 19" TFT display, a 6' antenna, 12 kW power, and 72 NM range, complemented by a CS69 navigation system with 19" TFT display integrating radar with 6' antenna at 12 kW, chart plotter, and depth sounder. A SIMRAD CP31 GPS chart plotter with 6" display and GPS antenna works alongside a GPS antenna with 12 parallel channels, while a SIMRAD AP25 autopilot interfaces seamlessly with GPS. Communications are anchored by a SIMRAD RS87 DSC-D VHF.
Performance data and environmental inputs are delivered by the SIMRAD IS15 SPEED/TEMP/ECO/WIND system, composed of a Multi digital display IS15 and an Analogic Wind IS15 display. A PC connects to SAT COM F77, and a TV monitor C.C. provides visualisation of the yacht’s access points as well as engines and engine room systems, augmented by a 12" touch screen monitor dedicated to the vessel’s surveillance system. Shipwide convenience includes a dual-function telephone (telephone/interphone), ceiling lighting with spot fixtures, and full air conditioning. The electric hard top ceiling features a special opening and closing mechanism, while an array of RADAR, GPS, VHF, and WIND antenna work in concert with TV, SAT TV, and SAT COM F77 antennas. Night navigation is ensured by LOPOLIGHT LED navigation lights, and an elegant polished chrome triple-mouthed fog horn by KAHLEMBERG commands attention. SONY speakers extend music from the internal sitting area to the exterior, enhanced after dark by external illumination from watertight spot lights.
