LEGACY

LEGACY is a brand of motor express yachts with the length of 34, 40, 42 feet, made of fiberglass. The traditional US design of these yachts, comfortable interiors and a reasonable ratio of technical performance and fuel consumption have made LEGACY popular and recognizable.

Initially, the brand was owned by Freedom Yachts company. The company was founded in 1976 and located in Rhode Island, USA. The shipyard also owned the brand of sailing yachts - Freedom. The company was resold several times, and closed in 2008.

The first yachts of LEGACY were built in the 90s, at that time even at the Freedom Yachts shipyard. The design was developed by Mark Ellis. The fiberglass boats were in demand and produced by the company for a long time. Several years ago, the brand and projects were bought by the Tartan Yachts shipyard. The company's engineers decided to improve the design, using the new composite material for the hull and innovative laminating technology.

Both the former and the new yachts of LEGACY are perfect for cruising in the warm waters. They have become a legend, despite the fact that they are still producing today. This is due to the clever design, high strength, excellent technical performance.
