Refit 2025

The Jasmina III underwent an extensive refit during the winter of 2025, ensuring she is in prime condition for the upcoming cruising season. The dry dock work included a comprehensive overhaul of the bow and stern thruster propellers, which were removed, cleaned, and replaced to ensure optimal performance. The folding propeller was also taken to the workshop for full maintenance, including re-greasing. The cockpit fridge received a new sealant, and all deck cushion covers were removed and laundered for freshness. Every stainless steel part on deck was meticulously washed and polished, while the anchor plates were sanded and polished to perfection. The windlass underwent thorough maintenance, and the watermaker was winterized in October 2024, ready to be de-winterized in May 2025.

The mainsail was removed to the loft, washed, and repaired for luff wear damage before being re-installed. Below the waterline, the hull was fully cleaned, sanded, primed, and treated with a double coat of antifouling to protect against marine growth. All sea cocks and seawater intake filters were cleaned and maintained, and new anodes were installed. The topsides of the hull were sanded, primed, touch-up painted, and polished to maintain their pristine appearance. The tender's outboard engine received its annual maintenance, as did the main engine and generator, ensuring all mechanical systems are in top working order. Additionally, a biennial chemical treatment and cleaning of the air conditioner and all fan coil units were completed, ensuring a comfortable onboard environment.
