Overview
A brand-new 2026 steel expedition motor yacht of 92 feet in length, crafted in Turkey and penned by Ava Yachts, this purposeful explorer blends ocean-going grit with superyacht poise. Her steel hull and steel decks speak to serious bluewater intent, while a broad 23-foot beam creates generous volume for relaxed, refined living on every deck. The silhouette is all explorer-yacht confidence—clean, functional lines and secure walk-arounds—yet the experience aboard remains unabashedly luxurious, equally at home ghosting through high latitudes or slipping into secluded tropical anchorages.
Inside, light-filled lounges and serene staterooms are designed for long-range comfort, with thoughtfully arranged accommodations and a remarkable total of seven heads ensuring privacy for owners and guests throughout extended passages. Flow between the salon and alfresco dining terraces feels effortless, encouraging evenings under the stars and lingering breakfasts underway. Dedicated crew quarters with two berths enable discreet service and seamless operations, ideal for an owner-operator who values support on watch while preserving intimate onboard ambiance.
Engineered for autonomy and reliability, twin Volvo Penta inboard diesels deliver a composed 10-knot cruising pace and up to 14 knots when desired, all with the efficiency and quiet confidence expedition yachts demand. Substantial tankage—approximately 8,718 gallons of fuel and around 1,321 gallons of fresh water—empowers weeks off the grid with minimal compromise. Solid, seakindly, and beautifully finished, this 92-foot expedition yacht captures the essence of modern motor yachts built for discovery: robust where it matters, indulgent where it counts, and now lying in Turkey, poised to carry her first owner far beyond the horizon.
Detailed Description
Kando 90 walkthrough
Boarding the Kando 90 is via her portside passerelle or the swim platform when alongside a floating dock. Up six steps awaits an ample Aft Deck where both fixed and loose seating gather around a dining table for easy alfresco entertaining. The Salon just forward arranges a couch to starboard opposite two chairs to port, flowing into an eight-place dining table that anchors the main social hub.
Forward to starboard is a Day Head and the entrance to the full-beam on-deck Master Cabin, whose large Head is appointed with two basins, a toilet, a bidet shower, and a spa tub. From the dining area, forward to port, a large Galley serves as the culinary command center, while private stairs lead to a captain’s cabin on the lower level all the way forward; this cabin features a centerline walkaround berth, a large Head, and a walk-in closet.
Back on the Main Deck, the entry foyer guides you down to the four guest suites. Aft are matching staterooms with walk-around queen berths and full Heads, while forward are matching double-berth suites, each with a full Head. Returning to the entry lobby, steps rise to the Skylounge Deck, where a large Pilothouse occupies the fore position with a centerline Helm and guest seating aft to starboard.
The full-beam Skylounge indulges with a walk-behind bar fitted with four stools, while aft two sofas face inboard and are complemented by occasional chairs. A Day Head is set forward on the starboard side. The boat deck provides generous space for outdoor seating forward of the tender and includes steps to the Flybridge.
On the Flybridge, an upper Helm sits on centerline, a walk-behind bar serves to port, and a large dining area spreads to starboard. Aft, a broad sunbed welcomes several people, while a large FRP hardtop shelters much of this elevated deck.
Boat's characteristics
Engineered with a true displacement hull form for confident blue‑water poise, this yacht features an unsinkable hull that remains secure even in the event of flooding in any compartment. Interior comfort is elevated by a minimum free height of 2.10 m in the cabins, while precise command is ensured by four control stations, including two helm bridges equipped with emergency stop buttons.
Structural materials
Engineered for strength and longevity, the hull is crafted from High Tensile Marine Steel AH36, while the superstructure is executed in Aluminum Alloy Almg 5083 H321 for optimal rigidity and weight balance. Above, the hardtop employs a Sandwich System Epoxy Composite that delivers stiffness and resilience without unnecessary mass. Onboard systems are equally robust: the fresh water system is plumbed with Polypropylene Pipes, the sanitary system with PVC Pipes, and the fuel system with Mild Steel Pipes. For dependable thermal performance and corrosion resistance, the sea water cooling system utilizes CuNiFe Pipes. Safety-critical circuits are protected with Galvanized Steel Pipes in the fire extinguishing system, as well as in the bilge suction system and the tank air vent system. Power delivery is assured by a hydraulic system specified with Seamless Steel Pipes, and all stainless steel equipment is AISI316L unless otherwise specified.
Engines, propulsion system, speed & range
