Detailed Description

Full specification

Conceived by Stefano Righini and brought to life by Azimut Benetti Spa – Benetti Division, this Benetti motor yacht, launched in 2011 with naval architecture by the same renowned house, measures 28.50 m in length (93’6”), with a 7.03 m beam (23’1”) and a 1.90 m draft (6’3”). The interiors for owner and guest spaces are by Carlo Galeazzi, while the crew areas are by Benetti. Accommodation is arranged across four cabins for a total of eight guests sleeping, with up to twelve guests cruising, and a dedicated crew of three in two cabins.

Performance is entrusted to twin MTU 8V2000 M72 main engines rated at 720 kW at 2250 rpm, driving Benetti Design propellers through a pair of Reintjes WAF 344 gearboxes; ship’s power is supported by two Kohler generators at 40 kW each (230 VAC, 50 Hz). Complementing long‑range autonomy is an Idromar MC3J water maker producing 180 l per hour (47,55 US gallons). Close‑quarters handling benefits from a 30 kW hydraulic bow thruster (40 Hp), and comfort at sea and at rest is ensured by stabilizers offering both Navigation Stab and Zero Speed at anchor. At half‑load displacement the yacht reaches a maximum speed of 14.0 knots, with a cruising speed of 13.0 knots at eighty‑five percent of maximum power; range is 1,500 nautical miles at an economical 10 knots with one diesel generator running.

Built to exacting standards, the yacht carries a CE mark (module F) certified by Registro Italiano Navale (R.I.Na.). Optional classification and compliance packages include R.I.Na. Rules for Classification of pleasure yachts C HULL • MACH Y and an MCA Compliance Certificate issued by R.I.Na.

Her hull and deck are entirely in GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic), employing single‑skin or sandwich construction according to zone, while the superstructure is GRP with a cored sandwich structure. Above the keel, double‑bottom tanks are integrated into the hull structure and include the fresh‑water tank, the fuel tanks, and the sanitary tank.

Onboard climate is governed by a Heinen & Hopman air‑conditioning system engineered to the following design conditions. Summer: outside air 35° C / 95° F at 90% relative humidity; inside air 22° C / 72° F at 55% relative humidity; maximum sea‑water temperature 32° C / 90° F. Winter: outside air 0° C / 32° F; inside air 22° C / 72° F; maximum sea‑water temperature 10° C / 90° F.

Deck outfitting is specified for dependable, effortless operation: Lofrans windlasses (three at 230 V) and foot‑operated Lofrans capstans (230 V, three‑phase, 50 Hz) manage a ground‑tackle suite of high‑holding‑power anchors, each 98 kg in galvanized steel (HHP), connected to two galvanized‑steel chains of 12,5 mm diameter with stud link built to DIN 766, U2 grade, each of 110 m in length. A hydraulic, retractable telescopic gangway with three stages serves the stern, and a 4.5 m tender is housed in the aft garage with space for accompanying water toys.

The electrical installation, wiring, and fixtures are fully CE‑compliant, and the yacht is delivered with a dual system comprising 230 VAC, three‑phase, 50 Hz and 24 VDC; a 60 Hz configuration can be provided as an option.

In the wheelhouse, navigation and communication are comprehensive: a Simrad Nobeltec radar pairs with a gyro compass (yes), rudder‑angle indicator (yes), a Riviera White Star BW 3 magnetic compass of 130 mm diameter, and a Wind Multi NMEA log/wind system. Control is enhanced by a Navicontrol Mod AP3003 autopilot, BCS rudder tiller, and a take‑over system (yes). Positioning is via GPS (yes) and a PC‑based chart system running Nobeltec Admiral 10 Max‑Pro software, with ARPA function (yes). Barigo 120 clock, barometer, and thermometer provide analog precision; communications include Sailor 4801 DSC VHF (D Class), a Telular SX 5E GSM/GPRS phone, and an RX‑TDA30 PABX.

Entertainment is integrated throughout. The yacht features an antenna Naval Nargentus for aerial TV and AM/FM radio reception and the “BEST” Integrated Entertainment System. In the main saloon, a Denon sintoamplifier mod. 2809, Client BEST HD, a 42” LCD TV, in‑ceiling speakers, an integrated Philips Pronto remote control, and a Denon iPod docking station create a cinematic core. The dining area is served by a CPA 60 stereo amplifier feeding two speakers with independent volume control, while external areas on the MD feature four marine speakers. The sun deck enjoys a waterproof amplified SONY car stereo driving four marine speakers. The Owner’s Suite mirrors the main saloon specification with a Denon sintoamplifier mod. 2809, Client BEST HD, a 42” LCD TV, in‑ceiling speakers, an integrated Philips Pronto remote, and a Denon iPod docking station. The VIP Cabin is equipped with a Teac System DR‑H300 with DVD player and iPod input, a 19” LCD TV, in‑ceiling speakers, and an integrated Philips Pronto remote; both Guest Cabins match this Teac DR‑H300 and 19” LCD TV specification with in‑ceiling speakers and integrated Philips Pronto control. Crew spaces are equally considered: the Captain’s Cabin and Crew Cabin each receive a Teac System DR‑H300 with DVD player and iPod input and in‑ceiling speakers; the Galley/Crew Mess adds a 19” LCD TV to the Teac DR‑H300 and in‑ceiling speakers; even the wheelhouse includes a Teac System DR‑H300 with DVD player and iPod input and in‑ceiling speakers.

Domestic appliances are curated for extended cruising. The laundry provides a washing machine, while the main saloon benefits from a drying machine. In the galley, a 75 cm cooking top, exhaust hood, 90 cm oven, microwave, dishwasher, garbage macerator, fridge, and freezer deliver full‑spec culinary capability. An external sun‑deck bar completes the lifestyle amenities with a minifridge and an ice maker.
