Detailed Description
Manufacturer provided description
The 330 Outrage® is an outstanding saltwater performer built on a foundation of core confidence. Boston Whaler’s precision-engineered design delivers a smooth, dry, comfortable ride—the optimal balance of stability and softness—so handling remains beautifully predictable with seamless control that inspires ease and assurance. With fishing features and options galore, alongside numerous comfort-minded amenities for you and your guests, the 330 is equally at home entertaining at anchor or charging offshore toward whatever adventures you can imagine.
Console / head
Within the console and head, refinement meets readiness with a 12‑V receptacle, an acrylic entry door with lock, and a cast stainless steel steering wheel with knob set ahead of a precise compass. You’ll find two drink holders, an electronics mounting surface with space for dual displays, and an electronics switch panel with illuminated switches, all supported by interior courtesy lights. Ergonomics are enhanced by molded console footrests and a fold‑down helm standing platform with a molded‑in non‑skid surface, complemented by a molded inner liner and one opening porthole with screen. Systems access is thoughtful, with a remote‑located circuit breaker panel and remote ignition key switches with pushbutton start at the helm. Daily convenience comes via a sink with pullout sprayer and a stereo—Fusion®, iPod/iPhone dock audio, AM/FM/USB audio/VHF/WX/Sirius XMTM ready, JL waterproof speakers, remote control at the helm and USB/MPS input—along with ample storage cabinets. The head is equipped with a VacuFlushTM toilet with holding tank, overboard discharge and dockside pump‑out, while navigation and communication are elevated by a Garmin 7616 chart plotter, a Garmin 7616 XSV chart plotter, VHF 210 w/AIS, and a Garmin phantom 24 radar.
Deck / cockpit
Purposeful detailing defines the deck and cockpit, beginning with one 8‑inch stainless steel cleat at the anchor locker, two 8‑inch stainless steel pop‑up cross‑tie cleats at the transom, and six 10‑inch stainless steel cleats—two at the bow, two spring‑line with hawse pipes, and two at the stern with hawse pipes. A 28‑inch interior freeboard, bow and stern eyes, and cockpit coaming bolsters add security and comfort, while a covered telescoping swim ladder with stainless steel grab rail and dedicated storage for the dive ladder streamline water access. There are grab rails at the forward lounge and at the leaning post—two at each location—and the stern benefits from two hawse pipes with drink holders. A heavy‑duty rub rail and a low‑profile interior bow rail in welded stainless steel underscore durability. Boarding and diving are effortless via the molded fiberglass portside dive/boarding door with removable stainless steel dive ladder, and drainage is assured with motorwell drains. Anglers enjoy eight gunnel‑mounted rod holders and three transom‑mounted rod holders, plus a self‑bailing cockpit, a stainless steel thru‑hull anchor roller davit, two stainless‑steel toe rails per side, a transom door with stainless steel latch, and a windlass with a 200‑foot rode, 25‑foot chain and a galvanized plow anchor.
Hardtop / windshield system
Overhead protection is complete with a bow area flood light, two cockpit area flood lights, and a dome light offering red and white illumination, all complemented by an electronics box and LED blue lighting. Practicality meets preparedness with dedicated lifejacket storage and an outrigger‑ready layout, along with five rod holders integrated into the structure. Clear sightlines are assured by a tempered glass windshield with a power‑actuated vent and a windshield wiper with a wash system.
Leaning post
The leaning post is a true utility hub, featuring an aft‑facing couch with a convertible work surface, four drink holders and three grab rails for security under way. Storage abounds, with dedicated leaning‑post stowage beneath the aft‑facing seat and three storage drawers that keep tackle and tools neatly organized.
Mechanical
Robust systems power every outing, including three 12‑V receptacles and a 300‑gallon fuel tank feeding engines protected by fuel/water separators. An automatic bilge pump and sump box deliver 1,100 GPH forward and two 2,000 GPH units aft, while three battery trays with switches keep electrical reserves in order. A 40‑gallon freshwater system serves a sink in the console, a transom shower and an anchor washdown, and ship’s systems are managed from an instrumentation and electrical switch panel with circuit breaker protection. Night moves benefit from LED cockpit lighting (blue), and anglers rely on a 50‑gallon transom centerline livewell. Navigation lights, raw water washdown, shore power with a battery charger and galvanic isolator, and stainless steel propellers round out capability, with tilt steering, transducer mount areas, and a variable running surface with a single electric ram and indicator refining control. Monitoring is intuitive via Vessel View 7” (Mercury SmartCraft).
Seating
Comfort takes many forms, from a fold‑away stern bench seat to a 60‑inch forward console lounge with flip‑down armrests, two cup holders and two recessed grab rails. Forward island deck seating adds versatility with two drink holders, bolsters and removable cushions, while helm and companion occupy bolster‑style seats with an integrated storage console.
Storage
Stowage is intelligently distributed, beginning with a bow anchor locker with drain and a glove box at the helm. Aft, two insulated in‑floor fishboxes with pump‑out hold 57 gallons, while the lockable console front storage carries ten rods, an optional 36‑quart cooler and miscellaneous gear, with optional scuba tank racks available for four tanks. The port‑aft fishing prep area includes storage that can accommodate a 5‑gallon bucket, and under‑gunnel rod racks keep tackle secure yet accessible.
Standard features
Every visible touchpoint is executed in premium materials, with all hardware in 316‑L stainless steel and all rails in welded 316‑L stainless steel.
