Overview
PROJECT METAVERSE stands as the world’s first Superyacht NFT, uniting the visionary hand of legendary designer Gregory C. Marshall with the renowned craftsmanship of Delta Marine Shipyard to create a pedigree new-build destined to set a lasting benchmark in the luxury yacht and superyacht industry.
This first-of-its-kind NFT new construction program harnesses bespoke augmented-reality technology to deliver the ultimate metaverse build journey. Throughout the design and construction phases, the future owner can meet virtually with Gregory Marshall, my team, and Delta’s artisans inside the metaverse, co-creating this landmark superyacht in real time.
The aesthetic and ethos of PROJECT METAVERSE clearly echo the DNA of the multi-award-winning 45m custom expedition yacht BIG FISH, delivered in 2010 and still roaming the farthest reaches of the world’s oceans with exemplary reliability and range—an explorer yacht pedigree that informs every line.
A full-displacement steel hull paired with a composite superstructure capitalizes on Delta Marine’s unmatched expertise in this class of oceangoing motor yachts. With approximately 1,245 GT, she offers generous volume across every deck. Top speeds approach 16.5 knots, while a transoceanic range of roughly 4,000 nautical miles is achieved at an efficient 12-knot cruise. Accommodation spans seven expansive en-suite staterooms for 14 guests, supported by a professional complement of up to 18 crew.
Signature features on board include foredeck touch-and-go helicopter capability, an expansive beach club boasting about 37 meters of fold-down terraces, and an elevator serving every deck to ensure the yacht is fully handicap accessible. Two spacious VIP suites occupy the forward main deck, four additional guest cabins sit on the lower deck with direct beach club access, and a commercial-grade galley supports refined hospitality. A distinctive crow’s nest crowns the sundeck for panoramic viewing, while a dramatic glass-bottom pool aft on the main deck overlooks the beach club below. The owner’s 87-square-meter apartment spans the full beam with private port and starboard balconies, one featuring a spa pool. A forward tender garage with gull-wing doors facilitates effortless launch and recovery of tenders, a submersible, and a full suite of water toys.
From the broker’s perspective, PROJECT METAVERSE is a rare collaboration between Gregory C. Marshall Design and Delta Marine Shipyard—two leaders at the top of their craft—shaping what is certain to be an iconic global explorer yacht. Fully custom, top pedigree, and engineered with never-before-deployed build methodologies, the project more than earns its name.
Building on the celebrated achievements of the 45m BIG FISH, this 63-meter expedition superyacht amplifies the experience with an open-concept beach club offering multi-level lounging and sea-level terraces, a high perch viewing deck in the crow’s nest, a spectacular glass-bottom pool, a forward-set tender bay, and a private, full-beam owner’s domain with twin balconies—one graced by a dedicated spa pool—setting a new standard among luxury motor yachts.
Every inch of the layout has been meticulously refined so that movement from bow to stern remains fluid and intuitive. Crew circulation and service pathways are optimized to minimize disruption to owners and guests, while tender operations have been configured for seamless, professional handling in varied sea conditions—true expedition yacht thinking.
This new-build opportunity awaits an owner ready to personalize the final specification. From interior design concepts and materials to lifestyle-driven adjustments and mission-specific modifications, the yacht can be tailored to individual preferences, program, and cruising ambitions.
Pricing will be established by the final LOA and gross tonnage, the caliber and craftsmanship of the interior fit-out, and the scope of options, upgrades, and custom features selected for the definitive design.
Delivery timing will be set once technical specifications and contracts are completed; from that milestone, the estimated build schedule is approximately 32 months—an efficient timeline for a custom megayacht of this complexity and scale.
From Gregory C. Marshall Design, the lineage is unmistakable. Over the decades, Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architects has penned some of the most acclaimed adventure yachts on the water—VvS1, BIG FISH, and ARTEFACT among them—collecting more than twenty major superyacht awards while carrying owners and guests to remote destinations in uncompromised style and comfort.
The latest breakthrough from Marshall’s studio is this unique partnership with Alex Clarke at Denison Yachting, Cloud Yachts, and Delta Marine in Seattle. Branded PROJECT METAVERSE, the 63-meter yacht leverages advanced holographic design tools so the client can interface with both the design office and the shipyard throughout the design-and-build process as never before—an immersive metaverse experience aligned with a world-class custom build.
Delta Marine’s position is clear: the yard embraces the chance to push boundaries with an exceptional team. By combining the distinct strengths of all four partners, the result will be an innovative, dynamic, and highly creative project. With decades of custom-yacht experience, a state-of-the-art facility, and extraordinary craftspeople across every marine trade, Delta ensures construction to the highest standards of quality.
Established in 1967, Delta remains a family-owned builder founded on enduring relationships. Its mission is to perform at the pinnacle of the craft, deliver world-class superyachts of true distinction, and uphold a culture of trust, transparency, and integrity in every engagement.
Today, Delta has the capacity to construct luxury yachts up to 100 meters that stand among the finest megayachts afloat. Its drive to blend innovation with beauty is powered by dedicated in-house talent, continuous investment in facilities, and engineering excellence—all against the inspiring backdrop of the Pacific Northwest, a natural arena for adventure and exploration. By pairing advanced technologies with decades of composite expertise, Delta enjoys deep respect from industry peers, captains, and crews—and most importantly, from owners.
Situated on a 25-acre campus with nearly 300,000 square feet of covered production, Delta brings all core marine trades under one roof and prioritizes U.S.-sourced products wherever possible. This concentrated, connected approach yields a level of project fluency that is simply uncommon. The shipyard is among the most advanced, consistently enhancing equipment, processes, and technology to deliver progressive, superior manufacturing. Environmental stewardship is integral; construction is conducted indoors and waste streams are managed with exceptional care. In every respect, the facility represents best-in-class metal and composite yacht construction up to 100 meters.
For more than four decades, one principle has remained constant at Delta: to provide the finest custom yacht building and services with the owner’s vision at the heart of every decision. This commitment endures as new generations of professionals join the team and unprecedented technologies elevate capability. Delta’s unwavering goal is to create world-class yachts—superyachts and explorer yachts alike—that are truly beyond compare.
Detailed Description
Overview
PROJECT METAVERSE is the world’s first Super Yacht NFT, uniting the vision of legendary designer Gregory C. Marshall with the acclaimed craftsmanship of Delta Marine Shipyard to create a top‑pedigree new construction destined to leave a lasting legacy on the yachting industry. This first‑of‑its‑kind project leverages custom augmented realty technology to deliver the ultimate metaverse build experience, enabling the client to meet with Gregory Marshall and the Delta team in the metaverse throughout the entire build as this historic super yacht takes shape.
Drawing on the spirit of the award‑winning 45‑meter custom expedition yacht BIG FISH, delivered in 2010 and still roaming the most remote regions of the world’s oceans, PROJECT METAVERSE advances the lineage with a full‑displacement steel hull and composite superstructure that capitalize on Delta Marine Shipyard’s leadership in this arena. At 1245 GRT, volume is generous on every deck. A maximum speed of 16.5 m can be achieved, while a 4,000 nm range is possible at a cruising speed of 12 knots. She accommodates fourteen guests in seven spacious en‑suites and up to eighteen crew.
Signature features include touch‑and‑go helicopter operations on the bow; an expansive beach club with 37 m of fold‑down platforms; an elevator serving every deck; handicap accessibility; two VIP cabins located forward on the main deck; four guest cabins on the lower level with direct access to the beach club; a commercial‑grade galley; a unique crow’s nest viewing level above the sundeck; a massive glass‑bottom pool aft on the main deck over the beach club; an 87 square meter owner’s apartment with private balconies and a spa pool; and a forward tender garage with gull‑wing doors for effortless deployment and retrieval of tenders, a submersible, or toys.
A collaboration between Gregory C. Marshall Design and Delta Marine Shipyard brings together two masters of their disciplines to create an iconic global explorer. Top pedigree and fully custom by nature, PROJECT METAVERSE distinguishes itself by incorporating build techniques never before implemented—hence its visionary name. Building on the success of the 45‑meter Big Fish, she further elevates the experience with a large open beach club featuring multiple bathing platforms, a crow’s nest viewing deck, a glass‑bottom pool, a forward tender garage, and a private full‑beam owner’s suite with balconies on both port and starboard, one fitted with a spa pool. Every detail has been meticulously considered to ensure seamless flow from bow to stern, enabling crew to move efficiently with minimal interruption to owners and guests while executing tender operations with ease.
This project now awaits an owner to personalize the final details, select the interior décor package, and tailor any modifications to suit individual requirements, lifestyle, and intended usage. Final pricing will be determined by the final LOA, gross tonnage, the fit and finish of the requested interior décor package, and the options, features, and modifications incorporated into the final design. The final delivery date will depend on the completion of technical specifications and contract formalities, with an estimated thirty‑two month build period from that point.
Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architects has created some of the world’s most iconic and groundbreaking adventure yachts—VVs1, BigFish, and Artefact among them—collectively earning more than twenty Superyacht Awards and carrying owners and guests to the planet’s most remote destinations in uncompromised style. The latest breakthrough from the studio is PROJECT METAVERSE, a 63‑meter yacht developed in unique collaboration with Delta Marine in Seattle, combining some of the most advanced holographic design tools in the industry. This enables clients to interact with both the design office and the shipyard throughout the design and build process as never before.
Delta Marine Shipyard is equally inspired by the opportunity to explore new ideas with an extraordinary team. “Combining unique strengths will result in an innovative, creative, and dynamic project. Delta’s decades of experience building custom yachts, our state‑of‑the‑art facility, and extraordinary craftspeople across all marine trades will ensure the project is built to the highest quality,” says Michelle Jones. Founded in 1967, Delta is a family‑owned and operated yacht‑building enterprise built on lasting client relationships, a commitment to perform at the highest level, and a foundation of trust and honesty. Today, Delta has the capability to build yachts up to 100 meters that rank among the world’s finest, a drive realized through the collaboration of the industry’s most dedicated craftsmen, continual investment in facilities and engineering ingenuity, and a culture inspired by the majestic Pacific Northwest. By embracing advanced technology and drawing on deep expertise in composite construction, Delta continues to earn the respect of industry peers, captains and crews, and most importantly, owners.
Situated on a 25‑acre campus with nearly 300,000 square feet of covered manufacturing space, Delta brings all marine trades under one roof and sources as many American‑made products and supplies as possible. This comprehensive, connected facility gives team members an unmatched fluency across ongoing projects. As one of the world’s most advanced shipyards, Delta continually updates equipment and invests in new processes and technologies to deliver progressive, superior manufacturing. The shipyard is also a careful steward of the environment and its waterways, conducting work indoors and managing its waste stream with the utmost care. In every respect, the Delta facility represents the pinnacle of metal and composite construction for yachts up to 100 meters. For more than forty years, Delta’s most important value has remained unchanged: to provide the finest custom yacht manufacturing and services with an owner’s vision and desires at heart. As new generations join the ranks and unprecedented technologies enhance capability, Delta remains steadfast in its goal to produce world‑class yachts that are truly beyond compare.
Main salon and dining
Encompassing approximately 1,400 square feet (140 square meters), the main salon and dining area is framed by full-height windows that bathe the interior in natural light. On both port and starboard, the dining salon features double sliding doors that open onto fold-down balconies, while the dining table graciously seats fourteen guests. Forward, a large concertina provides a dedicated station for buffet meals and generous storage. Port and starboard entrance foyers separate the main and dining salons, each with full-height sliding doors to create a grand arrival no matter which side the vessel is docked. The main salon bar is fully equipped with a refrigerator, ice maker, wine cooler, and sink, and a 100-inch diagonal TV screen positioned forward transforms the space into a private cinema whenever desired.
Main deck aft
Thoughtfully lowered relative to the main deck, the aft deck preserves unobstructed sightlines from the salon, opening a sweeping panorama to sea and horizon. Its centerpiece is an eighteen-foot-long (5.5m) edgeless swimming pool with glass ends and a cascading waterfall from the deck above, designed with continuous-swimming capability for fitness at anchor. The pool can be specified with a glass bottom to flood the beach club below with natural light. Generous loungers positioned port and starboard serve equally well for dining or as expansive sun pads, offering places both under shade and in full sun. Substantial mooring stations to port and starboard ensure confident handling, while the starboard-side aft passarelle is purposefully wide to accommodate wheelchair access.
Beach club
With the beach platforms deployed, the yacht presents 121 feet (37 meters) of dock length, creating an expansive waterside playground with ample room for all tenders, jet-skis, the submarine, and guest tenders. A wide transformer platform ensures effortless access to the sea for kayaks and other water toys, while the beach club itself offers generous volume for a fully equipped gymnasium, inviting lounge areas, relaxed dining, and a wet bar. Overhead skylights from the swimming pool above flood the space with natural light, enhancing the open-air ambience and seamless connection to the water.
Lower deck guest cabins
There are four identical guest cabins positioned aft on the lower deck, each bathed in natural light through panoramic windows measuring 8 ft wide by 3 ft high. Generously proportioned, every cabin can be arranged with a king-size bed together with Pullman-style wall beds, or reconfigured to twin beds as required, providing maximum flexibility for all cruising needs. Each guest suite features a large bathroom with both shower and bathtub and double sinks. Guests enjoy direct access aft to the beach club and forward to the elevator and stairs, while entertainment is assured with 50-inch televisions in every stateroom.
Main deck VIP cabins
There are two identical VIP guest cabins on the main deck, each framed by windows measuring eight feet wide by three feet high, complete with shades and blackout screens. Every cabin is generous enough to accommodate a king-sized bed and a Pullman-style wall bed, or can be arranged with twin beds if required, ensuring maximum flexibility for all cruising needs. Each guest suite features a large bathroom with a shower and bathtub as well as double sinks, and both staterooms are fully wheelchair accessible. The entire space is expansive enough to be configured as one full-beam VIP suite with his-and-hers bathrooms if desired, and it can be converted between a single full-beam arrangement and a port-and-starboard configuration on demand. Each VIP guest stateroom includes walk-in wardrobe lockers and 50-inch televisions.
Owner's apartment
Encompassing an expansive 875 square feet (87 square meters), the owner’s apartment is a sanctuary of refined seagoing luxury, framed by private balconies to port and starboard. To port, a large spa pool invites indulgence, designed to be heated or cooled as desired and thoughtfully concealed from view to ensure complete privacy from the yacht’s other decks. To starboard, a generous outside sun pad beckons for serene, sun-drenched lounging. Inside, his-and-hers bathrooms elevate comfort and convenience, completing a haven crafted for effortless retreat.
Galley/service areas
Configured to meet high-service, commercial standards, the galley is engineered for seamless culinary performance. The cooking suite features double combination steam ovens and a full complement of professional-grade amenities, while a generously proportioned island allows the team to properly plate all seats at the dining table simultaneously. Provisioning and preservation are optimized with a walk-in dry store complemented by multiple refrigerator-freezers. A dumbwaiter serves all decks and is large enough to house a hot-cold food trolley, which is stowed in the main galley within a dedicated locker equipped with a plug-in to remain charged. The service area is thoughtfully arranged with a stewardess station tucked out of the traffic flow and outfitted with storage for staff personal belongings, minimizing trips back to cabins. A service pantry provides direct access to crew accommodations and all decks, and double doors enable a continuous flow to service the dining table during high service. Large table-service lockers accommodate three full sets of china, along with all other staging items.
Sundeck
The sundeck is thoughtfully arranged into three distinct areas, beginning aft with a generous sunbathing zone where a small plunge pool/hot tub is surrounded by plush sun pads and chaise lounges, creating a secluded retreat that is private from the rest of the vessel. Access is via an interior staircase as well as the elevator, which is sized for six persons and is capable of accommodating a full-size wheelchair and an attendant if required. A large day head with a shower is positioned on the port side of the central foyer. The forward portion of the sundeck is divided into two spaces, including a forward observation area designed for relaxed viewing of where we are going and open to the sun. At the heart of the deck, a bar/Teppanyaki kitchen serves as the social hub and benefits from direct access via the crew service access stairs to the galley below, complemented by direct servicing from the main dumbwaiter. A dining table seats up to fourteen people, while generous port and starboard seating provide abundant relaxation areas for large groups. The central portion of the sundeck sits beneath a hardtop with large skylights and is protected at the forward end by a glass wall, allowing guests to enjoy the outdoors without the wind.
Crows nest
A raised viewing deck is accessed directly from the sundeck via a private staircase leading to the Crows nest. From this secluded perch, guests enjoy unparalleled 360-degree views whether underway or at anchor, while built-in seating and complete privacy make it a favorite space onboard.
Tender garage forward
Situated forward and fully enclosed, the tender garage keeps exterior decks pristine while enabling the crew to service and maintain tenders and toys without intruding on owner and guest spaces. As one of the yacht’s busiest hubs upon arrival or departure at a new destination, it is intentionally separated from the beach club to preserve a relaxing atmosphere by keeping the two spaces distinct. By locating the tenders where there is more motion at sea, the yacht reserves the calmer zones for accommodations. The garage is sized to accommodate a 24–28 ft recreational sportfisherman as well as an 18 ft jet tender, two full-sized personal watercraft, six Seabobs, and four kayaks. A large appliance hatch facilitates the removal of large appliances and machinery from the laundry room located two decks below. Direct access to the deck above, the main deck areas aft, and the crew quarters below provides excellent flexibility in how the space is used. With the tenders and toys off the vessel, the garage readily becomes a dedicated crew recreation room. The submarine shown is a three passenger U-Boat Worx, lifted by the overhead gantry crane.
Helicopter 'touch & go' option
The helicopter shown is a Eurocopter EC 130B seven passenger twin turbine model. To accommodate this option, the foredeck is raised by three steps from the area aft to eliminate the danger of the surrounding bulwarks, with safety railings in this zone offered as removable stanchions with lifelines or folding permanent railings. The helipad features full approach landing lights, while the foremast is retractable to clear the landing envelope. Please note that the helipad diameter is not the certified 10 meter diameter required by SOLAS and therefore is suitable only for 'private' operation. Loose seating and awnings can be accommodated.
Crew accommodations/lounge area
Crew accommodations are accessed from the upper service area on the main deck, leading to a well-organized haven for professional operations. The layout includes a supernumerary cabin that sleeps two with a private head, together with one first officer’s cabin and one engineer’s cabin, both fitted with queen-sized berths and private baths. A further eight crew cabins provide single berths and share four Jack-and-Jill bathroom arrangements, while the forward two crew cabins are appointed with private bathrooms. Every crew cabin offers drawer storage and hanging lockers, complemented by a desk and shelving for efficient stowage and workflow. To starboard, the crew lounge presents an inviting dining and relaxation area alongside a pantry equipped with galley appliances and a food lift for streamlined service.
