Italian builder Extra Yachts, part of Palumbo Superyachts, has presented the X130 Triplex, the new standard-bearer in its tri-deck line measuring 39.6 metres. This luxury motor yacht builds on the momentum of the X100 Triplex, launched only last year and already a three-strong success.

The exterior profile comes from long-time partner Studio Agon, shaping an all-aluminium superyacht with supple contours and assertive geometry that remains faithful to the brand's identity. Central to the concept is a mezzanine deck, elevated just 90 centimetres above the main deck, granting uninterrupted aft vistas and arranging twin lounge settings divided by a sculptural fireplace.

Accommodation spans nine cabins—five guest suites for 12 and four crew cabins for seven—comprising four doubles with en suites, two VIPs with double berths and two twins on the lower deck. The main-deck owner’s suite connects to a private office, vanity, en suite and an expansive walk-in wardrobe, while an alternative layout can dedicate the entire upper deck exclusively to the owner. Interiors by Laura Brocchini Design are rendered in champagne and cream hues, refined with marble accents and inviting, ambient lighting.

Social spaces include a main saloon arranged with twin semicircular sofas and formal dining for ten, plus a skylounge with bar and lounge seating. The sundeck becomes the gathering heart of this superyacht, featuring a panoramic forward lounge, open-air dining, a substantial bar counter and two sunbeds framing a sea-facing infinity pool. For greater privacy, the upper deck cockpit offers a more intimate set-up with sofa seating.

Power comes from twin 2,000 hp MAN diesels, delivering a projected top speed of 16 knots and a 14-knot cruising speed.

Further particulars include an 8.4-metre beam and a gross tonnage of 397 GT.

Beneath the mezzanine, the open-air beach club embraces a true waterside philosophy, with fold-down side and aft platforms that unfold into a 60 sqm expanse positioned only 60 cm above the water. This serene retreat is thoughtfully appointed with a day head, a separate shower, and direct access to the tender garage.

The owner’s suite is a luxury you can choose, offering two configurations: either a full-beam suite on the main deck or a private upper deck devoted entirely to the owner. The main deck also features a generous lounge area and a well-appointed galley alongside the full owner’s suite, while below deck four en-suite double cabins—two VIP cabins and two twin cabins—accommodate guests in style.
