Overview

“Boobah” is a bespoke express sportfishing yacht enhanced by a true flybridge, blending convertible sportfish capability with express agility. Celebrated for her confident ride, quick performance, and exquisite custom joinery, this F&S raises the bar. A smart, tournament-ready layout offers two staterooms, three full heads, and an additional Pullman berth.

Built cold-molded with diagonally planked Okoume and Kevlar laminates below the waterline, she carries a gleaming Awlgrip finish and classic teak transom. Palm Beach Towers aluminum work includes a hardtop that folds for height-restricted bridges—ideal for offshore runs and refined marina entries. Power comes from MTU 12V M96L engines, delivering the thrust expected of a luxury flybridge sportfisher, sportfishing yacht, and express cruiser.

Detailed Description

Overview

Command from the flybridge, where exceptional sightlines make fighting fish, docking, and close‑quarters maneuvering effortless. This elevated deck is appointed with two Release helm chairs and an aft‑facing single bench, while a pop‑up electronics cabinet reveals three 7616 Garmin displays, MTU engine‑monitoring screens, Seakeeper control indicator lights, and two VHF radios. Flanking the stainless wheel and single‑lever controls are neat port and starboard wing boxes: to starboard, the MTU joystick and Boca lighting switches; to port, the controls for the Rupp hydraulic outriggers and the hydraulic hardtop. Handy storage is concealed beneath the helm.

Step into the lower helm and salon to find a space honed for travel and tournament days alike. To starboard sits a custom cabinet with two extended pull‑out drawers; just forward, a fore‑and‑aft couch concealed‑stows reels, and above it is one of two custom rod lockers with pulley‑assist opening. Also on the starboard side, a 55‑inch Samsung TV rises smoothly on an electric lift. Aft to port, an L‑shaped couch hides generous storage, and above it the second custom rod locker opens on a pulley‑assist hatch. Moving forward into the lower helm, a reversible double seat to port pivots aft for fishing or entertaining and locks forward under way. The port side also houses two stainless‑steel Sub‑Zero fridge/freezers with a lower icemaker and, farther forward, a custom pop‑up bar with bottle stowage. Just before the companionway to the lower galley, the full AC/DC electrical panel and shore/generator source switches are logically arrayed. Centerline, the helm carries three 8617 Garmin screens and the full command suite, with an MTU joystick to port, a Release helm chair, a stainless steering wheel, and single‑lever Palm Beach controls with bow‑thruster buttons. All the way to port sit the FCI watermaker and dockside purification control, while behind the helm the DirecTV control boxes and the Control4 audio‑visual tower keep entertainment effortless.

Down a few steps, the galley spreads to port and a day head with full shower sits immediately to starboard. The galley arrangement includes two Release bar stools and four Sub‑Zero pull‑out fridge/freezers, a microwave‑convection oven, and a Miele induction cooktop beneath a removable granite counter. A large double sink anchors the worktop, and above it a custom pull‑out cabinet conceals a mounted Keurig coffee machine. The lower salon adds flexible accommodations with a Pullman berth that folds flush into the wall and an L‑shaped port sofa that converts to an additional bed, complemented by a large TV mounted on the starboard companion bulkhead. Teak flooring flows throughout for a warm, yacht‑grade finish.

Forward, the master stateroom features a queen berth and a full ensuite with shower. Highlights include teak flooring, a cedar‑lined hanging locker, custom teak drawers, and an electric actuator that lifts the berth for access to a cedar‑lined storage cabinet and the AC air handler. The starboard guest stateroom offers convertible flexibility with twin berths that unite into a single queen, a cedar‑lined hanging locker, a full head with shower, and custom teak cabinetry.

The expansive cockpit is tournament‑ready with abundant freezer capacity. To port, a large custom recessed freezer features three oversized pull‑out boxes for serious bait reserves; just inboard, a second bait fridge/freezer with four drawers serves as a day box or a full freezer. Centerline is engine‑room access. Far to starboard, a refrigerated fish box with freezer capability receives the Eskimo ice dump; just inboard and aligned with the electric door to the lower helm is a refrigerated drink box. Immediately to port of the entrance door, the Kenyon cockpit grill crowns a tackle center with three full pull‑out drawers. In the mezzanine, a broad bench with C‑worthy cushions faces the action, with cavernous stowage beneath for fenders and extra dock lines. Teak decking and teak covering boards are studded with Gemlux swivel rod holders. Centerstage, a Release fighting chair pairs with a rocket launcher, the transom carries the livewell, and under‑gunwale runs provide additional port and starboard livewell plumbing. A port water inlet and washdown, starboard salt‑water washdown and two 50‑amp shore cords, dedicated lockers for cleaning brushes and chamois under both gunwales, and 24 V electric‑reel plugs complete the cockpit brief.

Below, the machinery space is immaculate and comprehensively outfitted: twin 12V MTU M96L engines; twin Onan 22 kW gensets port and starboard showing 2100 hours port and 2000 hours starboard; dripless shaft seals; an FCI combo watermaker with Spot Zero; Willy Vac; a Bosch washer‑dryer combo; a Brownies compressor for tank fills; a Seakeeper 16 gyro; redundant AC pumps; a fuel transfer system; an air‑conditioning supply and discharge manifold; an Eskimo 800 ice machine; port and starboard Dometic freezer chillers; a battery charger; a Side‑Power hydraulic unit; port and starboard PTOs; Charles booster boxes; and a 528 transducer configured for high/low operation.

The electronics and systems suite is equally exhaustive: six Garmin screens complemented by GSD 26 and 25 sonar modules, FLIR thermal imaging, closed‑circuit engine‑room and cockpit cameras, two VHF radios with remote mics, hydraulic Rupp riggers, a Garmin GHC 20 autopilot, AIS 600, and a Seakeeper 16. Three livewell pump boxes support the bait program. Entertainment and connectivity include a KVH sat‑TV dome, the Ghost system, an Apple computer, Roku and Apple TV, Starlink with a new router, and three flat‑screen TVs, all orchestrated by Control4. Hotel services benefit from two Headhunter water pumps, UV water purification, all new Flow Marine titanium chillers for the AC plant—three serving the salon, one the master, one the guest, and one the lower salon—plus an on‑deck fuel transfer system, Bennet trim tabs, a central vac system, a Reverso fuel‑polishing system, a Brownies tank compressor with hookah outlets, J‑Beers electric doors, Techma toilets, an oil‑change system with manifold, fuel priming, custom battery boxes, and the MTU 360 joystick control with spot lock. Boca lighting completes the night game.
