Detailed Description
Manufacturer provided description
Compare the sheer amount of intelligent, usable space this new Squadron offers over yachts of similar size, and its truly innovative nature becomes immediately apparent. To achieve the seemingly impossible, the design rule book was rewritten: bulkheads were moved back and the bow was made beamier to create beautifully proportioned rooms rather than mere cabins. The forward master, despite its position in the bow, impresses with notably wide dimensions, while the galley is perfectly located so you are never tucked away from the action. Above, the flybridge feels less like a traditional flybridge and more like a large, luxurious lounge open to the sky.
Hullform and construction
All gel coat and glass fibre are meticulously hand laid using unidirectional, biaxial and woven rovings, with an isophthalic gel coat backed by an isophthalic resin-rich, powder-bound glass mat for enduring resilience. The hull benefits from comprehensive antifouling protection and a full-length hull design complemented by full-length moulded spray deflectors, while the hull-to-deck join is tapped and bonded for unwavering integrity. The form carries a deep-V forward, fairing to 12.5° of deadrise aft, supported by transverse and longitudinal strengthening stringers throughout the hull and integrally moulded engine bearers for precise machinery alignment. The deck incorporates polyurethane foam cores to deliver high strength and excellent thermal insulation. Feature windows with opening portholes flood the interior with natural light, and precise manoeuvrability comes courtesy of a bow thruster. Design, layout and detailing are by the Fairline Design Team, with naval architecture and structural engineering by Bernard Olesinski.
Deck salon
The deck salon invites relaxation with a Sony Bravia 32-inch power-up flat-screen TV, while aluminium venetian blinds temper the light for refined ambiance. A folding dining table with hi/lo adjustment anchors the space, complemented by a sofa with stowage and a sideboard offering dedicated crockery stowage. Overhead ceiling lights provide warm illumination and convenient 110v outlets keep essentials powered. A sliding patio door to the cockpit, complete with pleated blinds, seamlessly extends the living area outdoors, and climate is precisely managed by Cruisair AC.
Galley
Thoughtfully appointed for effortless cruising, the galley features aluminum Venetian blinds with aft pleated blinds to control natural light, while overhead lighting casts a warm glow across the random teak floor. Cooking is efficient and refined with a Dometic two-burner cooktop complemented by a Sharp microwave oven, assisted by an extractor fan and an integrated waste bin to keep preparations tidy. Cold storage is well considered with an Isotherm refrigerator and a Vitrifrigo freezer drawer, and the sink with hot and cold mixer tap makes cleanup easy. Practicality is paramount with stowage cupboards and drawers and conveniently placed 110-volt outlets, all kept comfortable by Cruisair air conditioning and safeguarded by a fire extinguisher.
Deck
The deck is thoughtfully appointed with an anchor chain locker and a calibrated anchor chain feeding a self-stowing Delta® anchor, deployed by an electric anchor winch with dedicated controls. Forward, integrated foredeck lockers and drinks holders are set within a moulded non-slip deck surface and protected by a stainless steel pulpit, while stainless steel bow, spring, and stern cleats work in concert with stainless steel bow fairleads and aft fairleads to simplify every mooring maneuver. Seamanship is supported by a full set of IMCO navigation lights, a riding light, and a remotely controlled searchlight, with clear communication from twin horns and entertainment from two speakers mounted on the bow rail. After a swim, enjoy the convenience of a hot and cold water transom shower and the sure footing of a teak-laid platform, with practical water fillers close at hand and excellent visibility maintained by windscreen wipers and washers.
Lobby
The lobby serves as a refined central hub, offering convenient access to the electrical control panel and leading seamlessly to the master cabin, two guest cabins, and the day head. A secure handrail guides your movement, while subtle illumination to the stair risers and generous overhead lighting create a warm, confident ambiance. For added convenience, an Isotherm refrigerator keeps refreshments perfectly within reach.
Master stateroom
Serene and inviting, the master stateroom centers on a queen bed with a drawer underneath, complemented by a tailored headboard dressed with shams and pillows. Focused reading lights to port and starboard illuminate the space, which is thoughtfully appointed with a full-height shelving cabinet, a hanging closet with mirrored door, and a full-height mirror for effortless preparation. Natural light pours through port and starboard windows fitted with blinds and opening portholes, while a skylight with blind and an escape hatch to the foredeck add both brightness and peace of mind. Practical stowage abounds with five overhead lockers, and a vanity unit with stool creates a private dressing area. Entertainment and comfort are assured with a Philips flat screen TV, a Fusion MS-RA205 stereo, and Crusair AC, and convenient 110v outlets are positioned for easy access. Underfoot, soft carpet completes this refined retreat.
Master en suite
Designed for indulgence and everyday practicality, the master en suite features an elegant en suite door with feature glass that opens to a bright space framed by feature windows with a single opening porthole. A full size shower with seat, a hinged door, and solid teak gratings provides a spa-like experience, supported by an automatic shower tray pump-out system and an effective extractor fan for comfort. The Jabsco toilet is complemented by a hinged toilet cover that cleverly provides increased work surface, while a full set of bathroom fittings, mirrored lockers, and a towel rail complete the refined functionality. Overhead lighting is balanced by an LED night light under lockers for soft illumination after dark, and random teak floors add a warm, maritime character underfoot. Practical touches such as a 110v GFI outlet ensure modern convenience without compromising the suite’s sophisticated ambiance.
Port guest cabin
Bathed in natural light from a feature window with a single opening porthole, the port guest cabin blends thoughtful design with indulgent comfort. Pleated blinds provide refined privacy and precise light control, while two full-length berths convert effortlessly into a king bed with an insert to suit any guest configuration. Storage is generous and well considered, with mid-level lockers complemented by a closet with mirrored doors that enhances both utility and a sense of space. Illumination comes from overhead lighting balanced by intimate reading lights, and convenient power points ensure devices remain charged and ready throughout the voyage.
Starboard guest cabin
Pleated blinds dress the feature windows with a single opening porthole, inviting gentle daylight and fresh sea air into a serene retreat where a bedside table accompanies two full-length berths with a sliding conversion to a double bed. Thoughtful storage abounds with mid-level lockers, under-bed storage, and a wardrobe with mirrored doors, while ambient overhead lighting pairs with focused reading lights to set the perfect mood. Practical 110-volt outlets serve personal devices, entertainment is provided by a Samsung flat screen and the Fusion MS-RA205, and climate is precisely managed by Cruisair AC, all set over soft carpet that completes the refined comfort of this cabin.
Starboard guest cabin en suite
Flooded with natural light from three large hull windows, including a single opening porthole, the starboard guest cabin en suite offers convenient day access and a refined, practical layout featuring a white sink with a chromed Hansgrohe faucet, mirrored lockers, a towel rail, and overhead ceiling lights. Comfort is ensured by an extractor fan and an electric Jabsco toilet, while the full standing-height shower, enclosed by a hinged acrylic door and set over solid teak gratings, is served by an automatic shower tray pump-out system. The space is finished with a random teak floor that enhances the yacht’s timeless character.
Helm position
Designed for absolute control and effortless enjoyment, the yacht offers a fully appointed flybridge and a second helm position that mirror professional-grade capability with refined comfort. On the flybridge, a Garmin GPS Map 7612 pairs with a Garmin Autopilot, Garmin echosounder and speedometer/distance log repeater with seawater temperature readout, and a Garmin radar GMR 24 HD mounted on a GRP radar mast, while a VHF radio incorporating intercom and a Fusion MS-RA70WSX elevate communication and entertainment. Command comes naturally via powered steering, a steering wheel, electronic single-lever throttle and gear controls for the port and starboard engines, bowthruster controls, a helm position indicator, and a Ritchie high speed magnetic compass, all complemented by remote anchor winch controls, trim tab controls, bilge pump warning lights with audible alarms, repeat engine bay fire extinguisher controls, and repeat flybridge engine instrumentation, controls and electronics. The Jabsco remote control searchlight is managed from both helm stations for total confidence after dark. Practical detailing includes a twelve-volt heavy-duty weatherproof socket, an access hatch, instrument covers and a moulded non-slip deck surface, with teak laid flybridge steps for secure movement. Comfort flourishes with a custom Bimini top, acrylic dodgers and a wind-deflecting screen with grab rail, bolstered helm seating with companion seating, drinks holders and a flybridge bar unit with sink and waste bin. The helm is positioned to port for clear sightlines through the flybridge hatch, while an upholstered seating area with table converts to a cushioned sunbathing area, joined by a separate sunbed with storage beneath to complete the alfresco experience.
At the lower helm, precision continues with a Garmin GPS MAP 7612 XSV and a Garmin GHC 10 digital multi-function instrument system with colour display, fuel gauges and full engine instrumentation including tachometers, temperature gauges, audible alarms and engine hour meters. Seamless control is assured through powered steering, an adjustable tilt steering wheel, electronic single-lever throttle and gear controls for the port and starboard engines, bowthruster controls, a helm position indicator, trim tab control, remote anchor winch controls and Jabsco searchlight controls. Safety and shipkeeping are enhanced by bilge pump switches with integral operating warning lights and audible alarms, controls for the engine bay Fireboy fire extinguisher system and switches for navigation and riding lights, windscreen wipers and engine bay extractor fans. An Icom command mic keeps communication immediate, while a Ritchie magnetic compass, black mesh suncovers for the front and side screens, an opening window to starboard, red night-light illumination to the helm, a teak laid floor, drinks holders and a twelve-volt socket underscore the helm’s ergonomic poise and seagoing practicality.
Aft
Accessed through a hatch to the cockpit, the aft utility room is illuminated by overhead ceiling lights and provides a practical wet hanging area alongside convenient power points. Also reached through a hatch to the cockpit, the optional aft cabin includes a Jabsco toilet and a full-length sliding berth that reveals the sink and toilet, complemented by mid-level lockers, a mirror, an opening porthole, overhead lighting, and 110v outlets. A random teak floor adds warmth underfoot, while the sink with hot and cold mixer tap is paired with a transom feature window with blind for light and privacy.
Cockpit
Step into a thoughtfully designed cockpit where a 12V heavy-duty, weatherproof socket keeps essential equipment powered, while convenient access to the aft utility room and to the side deck streamlines every movement on board. Generous cockpit seating is enhanced by subtle deck-level lighting, and teak-laid flooring extends throughout the self-draining cockpit for enduring elegance underfoot. Practicality is paramount, with an engine bay access hatch supported by stainless steel gas struts for effortless servicing and manual bilge pumps providing dependable backup. Safe passage to the water is assured through twin transom gates, and launching is made seamless by the Fairline tender launch system with cleats and strap.
Interior furnishings
Select from the Classic and Sport Collection upholstery choices, complemented by the Fairline Décor Collections—a fully comprehensive selection of interior and exterior upholstery fabrics, carpets, and covers, curated exclusively by the Fairline Interior Design Department to create a cohesive, refined ambiance throughout.
Tankage
Engine and stern gear are crafted for assured performance and quiet confidence, anchored by aerodynamically designed engine air intakes, automatic bilge pumps serving the forward bilge, engine bay, and rudder bay with a manual ‘on’ override, and an automatic engine bay fire extinguisher system. Reliability is further enhanced by dripless shaft seals, electric engine bay fan or fans, dedicated engine bay lights, comprehensive engine room soundproofing, and an exhaust overheat warning system. A high-capacity emergency manual bilge pump system with dedicated valves stands ready alongside hydraulic trim tabs, manganese bronze ‘P’ brackets, contra-rotating manganese bronze propellers, sea cocks on all inlets and outlets below the waterline, and stainless steel alloy shafts.
The fuel system is designed for flexibility and control, featuring a changeover valve system that allows each engine to draw fuel from, and return fuel to, either tank, with emergency fuel shut-off valves accessible via cable-operated remote control. Efficiency and protection are delivered by high-capacity water separators and fuel filters, while individual fillers and vents to port and starboard simplify service. Fuel is housed in two marine grade alloy tanks.
Freshwater comforts come via an automatic, pressurized supply feeding a calorifier hot water system and a water tank or tanks.
