Detailed Description
Walkthrough
Boarding PRETTY LADY from a floating dock is effortless via the wide swim platform, while from a fixed dock the side decks are easily reached over the gunwales. A generous teak aft deck welcomes you with built‑in seating, short steps to each side deck, centerline access to the passerelle and a ladder up to the flybridge. The centerline glass salon door slides open to reveal a bright lounge with a U‑shaped settee and table to port and a matching single seat to starboard, followed by a graceful three‑door Cherry locker that curves forward. Three steps lead down to a lower‑level galley and a spacious laundry area, and three steps up rise to the lower station to port with a curved settee and table opposite to starboard. Five carpeted steps descend to the accommodation deck where, immediately to starboard, a twin‑berth lower cabin is followed by a guest head with two entry doors. Forward lies a queen‑size VIP cabin with a private head and a stall shower, while amidships the Master impresses with an athwartships queen berth and a surprisingly large head that nearly spans the vessel’s beam. The flybridge is reached either by steps aft of the lower helm or via the aft deck ladder. Up top, the helm sits to starboard with a pop‑up electronics locker and, aft, a convivial bar area with fridge, grill and sink; to port, a sweeping curved seating group carries aft across the beam around a fixed‑height dining table, all beneath a Bimini top shading the forward end of the bridge.
Salon
Entered from the aft deck through a glass and stainless‑steel sliding door set slightly to starboard in the salon’s mostly glass aft bulkhead, the Salon unfolds as a warm, polished retreat. Immediately to starboard a curved leather seat hides useful storage beneath, followed by a graceful curved Cherry cabinet with three doors concealing general stowage; atop it sits a Bose Lifestyle AM/FM/CD stereo. Just forward are the steps to the galley, and above, twin Roman shades soften the house‑side windows. To port, an inviting L‑shaped leather sectional, also with storage below, resolves into a built‑in Cherry end table and a matching built‑in leather single seat. A high‑gloss Cherry table with concealed slide‑out leaves stands at dining height before the sofa, with matching Roman shades outboard above. The space is finished with Bose Mini Cube speakers, eight dimmable halogen lights, an elegant ceiling detail, digital A/C controls and a plush carpeted sole. Forward, two steps lift you toward the helm area.
Galley
Down three carpeted steps to starboard, the Galley opens to the salon above yet functions as a proper culinary workspace, with a carpeted sole underfoot and granite countertops framing two undermount stainless‑steel sinks. Storage is generous, with eleven Cherry cabinets, one Cherry drawer and a dedicated trash compartment, complemented by an opening stainless‑steel porthole for natural air. Cooking and cold‑storage needs are expertly met by a Bosch four‑burner electric cooktop with a sea rail, a premium refrigerator/freezer and a Cuisinart built‑in microwave oven, while a garbage disposal and an Isotherm icemaker tucked behind a Cherry door elevate everyday convenience.
Laundry room
Entered via the galley and inboard to port, the laundry room delivers true liveaboard practicality with a carpeted sole underfoot and two overhead lights, a two‑door pantry locker and open shelving for supplies. The Miele Novotronic T1570C clothes dryer and Miele Novotronic W1930 clothes washer handle laundry with ease, supported by a high‑water alarm for peace of mind. A compact Magic Chef refrigerator/freezer partners with a sink fitted with a hot‑and‑cold removable spray faucet, a handy outboard storage locker and digital A/C control to complete this exceptionally useful space.
Lower helm
Up two steps from the salon, the expansive lower station and raised dinette create a commanding perch for underway sightseeing. Here, a carpeted sole supports a helm outfitted with a 6" Urania magnetic compass, a Furuno NavNet 8” plotter and a Garmin GPS Map XSV with a 12” touchscreen, backed by a Simrad AP22 autopilot and a Raytheon Tridata depth/speed indicator. Vital data is at a glance with VDO fuel and water tank gauges, a Dometic A/C system control, a VDO rudder angle indicator and VDO engine gauges covering tank, water temperature, oil pressure and gear pressure, with engine hour meters embedded in the tachometers. Practical control is assured through switches for four bilge pumps, the shower pump, black‑water pump, bilge alarm, generator controls, windlass, trim tabs, horn and engine start/stops, complemented by a generator hour meter and a Vetus bow thruster control. The helm wheel fronts Rexroth electronic engine controls, an engine alarm system, engine key switches, an emergency stop button and a SeaFire system indicator, with the main electrical panel conveniently outboard of the helm. Communications and visibility are enhanced by an ICOM IC‑M502 VHF radio, a Jabsco searchlight control, a bench‑style helm seat for two, a starboard‑aft storage well, opening windows port and starboard, six overhead lights, six steps up to a bridge hatch just aft of the helm, a stainless‑steel windshield and two wipers with washers. To starboard, a curved dinette with table and storage below seats four to five beneath an attractive Cherry ceiling detail.
Accommodation foyer
From the starboard side of the wheelhouse, five carpeted steps lead down to the accommodations: a twin cabin lies to starboard, followed forward by a dual‑access guest head. To port is the entry to the Master cabin, and all the way forward the ensuite VIP cabin completes the layout. Every Cherry cabin door features elegant arches above and below.
Twin berth cabin
Entered at the forward end, the cabin presents a full‑length hanging locker just inside the door, then a two‑door cabinet topped by an 18” flat‑screen TV. Two steps down aft reveal twin single berths separated by a petite nightstand, with two drawers beneath the inboard berth and, above the outboard berth, a hull‑side window with an opening porthole dressed with privacy drapes. Each berth enjoys its own reading light, the upper aft bulkhead is mirrored, and the space is finished with three overhead halogen lights and digital A/C controls. Forward, a secondary door offers direct access to the guest head.
Guest head
Designed for easy upkeep and comfort, the guest head features a fiberglass inner‑liner sole, a Tecma toilet, a molded sink with a stone countertop and two mirrored medicine‑cabinet doors. An opening porthole with drapes, an A/C vent and two lights ensure fresh air and illumination, while a handheld shower with a unique pull‑down shower‑enclosure curtain provides versatile bathing privacy.
Master cabin
The Master cabin centers on an athwartship tapered queen berth set off the outboard hull side, lit above by a hull‑side window with two opening portholes shaded by a Roman blind. Nightstands and reading lights stand fore and aft, with two large drawers under the berth for added stowage. Forward, a two‑door hanging locker and upholstered bulkhead panels refine the finish, while at the foot of the berth aft a corner cabinet offers a unique half‑round sliding vanity top, a dedicated light, two cabinets below and an 18” flatscreen TV above. The aft bulkhead presents four mirrored panels, a small locker and an inset art niche, along with the entrance to the private head. Overhead, a soffit with perimeter rope lighting and a sliding shade over the skylight from above complete the ambiance.
Master cabin head
One step down and forward, the private head reveals a vanity with a storage cabinet below and a stone countertop with an undermount sink, plus an outboard storage cabinet and an opening stainless‑steel porthole behind drapes. Two steps down toward the centerline bring you to a Tecma toilet, five storage cabinets and open shelving, with a further inboard stall shower fitted with a plexiglass door and sidelight, a handheld or wall‑mountable fixture, a dedicated light and an exhaust fan.
VIP cabin
All the way forward, the VIP cabin offers a queen‑size berth set off the forward bulkhead with an inset mirrored feature and twin reading lights. Above the berth, an escape hatch with a sliding privacy shade welcomes daylight, while small built‑in nightstands flank the hull sides and a larger drawer sits at the foot of the berth facing aft. Aft along both port and starboard, triangular cabinets with a single door each provide additional storage, topped by an opening stainless‑steel porthole on each side with privacy drapes. An 18” flatscreen TV and a two‑door hanging locker are set aft to starboard, with the ensuite head aft to port. The cabin is finished with three overhead lights, digital A/C controls and a carpeted sole.
VIP head
Refined and practical, the head features a curved‑front vanity with a stone countertop and undermount sink set beneath mirrors, a Tecma toilet, and a stall shower with a clear plexiglass door, a dedicated light and a handheld or wall‑mountable fixture. A medicine cabinet, an A/C vent and an opening stainless‑steel porthole with drapes round out this private space.
Foredeck / side decks
Forward and outboard, the yacht’s working and lounging areas are smartly equipped with fiberglass non‑skid decking and a stainless‑steel bow rail with life line, a stainless‑steel anchor chute with bow roller and a Bruce 66 lb. anchor served by a 200’ chain rode and a Quick anchor windlass. A salt‑water washdown in the chain locker, two foredeck hatches for the anchor locker and dual spring‑line cleats underscore seamanlike detail, while sunlounge cushions with a cover for four people invite relaxation. International navigation lights, a remote spot light, two windshield wipers/washers, Textulene side windshield covers, two windshield wipers and port and starboard hinged rail breaks complete this thoroughly capable foredeck and side‑deck arrangement.
Aft deck
The aft deck presents teak over fiberglass decking and the protection of a boat‑deck hard top, with six overhead lights, a 24” life ring and a bench seat offering storage below and removable cushions above. A centerline passerelle with Besenzoni controls is reached via two teak steps, with additional storage in the starboard pilaster and a seven‑step teak‑and‑stainless ladder up to the flybridge. To starboard, an aft‑deck sink provides fresh‑ and salt‑water faucets, while hinged covers over the stern cleats conceal handy dock‑line storage. Two teak steps port and starboard lead to the side decks, and a centered hatch drops to the engine room. A unique fold‑up port‑side section of the aft salon bulkhead glass opens the space to the cockpit, while a 3’ x 4’ glass‑and‑stainless table stows neatly against the aft glass bulkhead. Entertainment and utility come courtesy of two Bose stereo speakers, two clamp‑on rod holders, three side Dacron storage covers to keep the aft deck clean, and large aft scuppers for fast drainage.
Swim platform
At water level, the fiberglass non‑skid swim platform is a true utility terrace, equipped with a 240 V50 amp Glendenning Cable Master, a dockside water inlet and a Marine Tel/TV inlet fixture. A shower head on a hose with a mounting bracket makes rinsing off easy, and a single step leads up to the aft deck through a hinged gunwale. A hydraulic passerelle, a lazarette hatch that lifts to reveal a cavernous storage area, a bilge pump with a high‑water alarm and a Besenzoni hydraulic steering activator underscore capability and convenience where it counts.
Flybridge
The flybridge’s fiberglass non‑skid sole, accessible from both the aft deck and the lower helm, invites open‑air living with a port‑side sunlounge offering storage below and a fitted cover, and a two‑burner electric grill neatly concealed beneath a hinged FRP top beside an Isotherm refrigerator. Aft, U‑shaped seating with a table and storage below forms a natural social hub under a 4‑bow Bimini top and behind a Venturi plexiglass windscreen. Safety and readiness are assured with an ACR EPIRB, a Eurovinil eight‑person life raft and two Bose stereo speakers, while a fixed reclining lounge to port of the helm completes this versatile upper deck.
Helm equipment
At the upper helm, a confident command suite includes the helm wheel and Rexroth electronic engine controls alongside Vetus bow thruster controls, ICOM IC M504 VHF and a Jabsco searchlight control. Navigation and monitoring are handled by a Simrad AP 22 autopilot, Raymarine ST60 Tridata, Garmin GPSMAP 7612Xsv touchscreen, VDO rudder angle indicator and VDO tachometer with water temperature gauges, all before a helm seat with a fitted cover. Functional switches for trim tabs, horn, windlass and the console actuator join engine start/stop and light switches, with a Raymarine ST‑60 compass ensuring true heading at a glance.
Arch
A sculpted fiberglass radar arch crowns the yacht, carrying a KVH TracVision 4 SAT dome, a SAT TEL dome, a GPS sensor and a Glomex terrestrial TV antennae. Signaling and awareness are enhanced by a dual stainless‑steel trumpet horn and a Garmin Radome, while two VHF antennas, a forward Nav light, an aft Nav light, an anchor light and two stereo speakers complete the installation.
Aft crew cabin
Discreetly accessed via a port‑side pilaster door with four steps down, the aft crew cabin is currently used for storage yet remains fully appointed with two portholes, a bow thruster breaker and an engine‑room fire‑system pull handle. Two battery shut‑off switches with battery‑parallel switches, two overhead lights and a single berth make this a flexible utility space whenever needed.
Engine room
Service access is straightforward through a hinged hatch on the aft deck and a six‑step entrance ladder onto a painted diamond‑plate sole. Machinery is protected and managed by dual Racor 1000 fuel filters with vacuum gauges for each main engine, a SeaFire 19 lb. FM 200 fire‑suppression system and dedicated 24‑volt pumps for black water, fresh water and grey water, plus an electric water heater. Climate control is by a dual‑compressor Dometic chilled‑water A/C system at 24,000 BTU each, supported by an A/C chilled‑water pump and an A/C raw‑water pump, while incandescent DC overhead lights illuminate the space. Hydraulic systems include a steering system pump, a trim‑tab system pump and a hydraulic passerelle pump, aided by an engine‑room blower. Fuel and driveline details feature a single FRP 924‑gallon fuel tank with a site gauge, two crash‑pump valves off the main‑engine plumbing, ZF 550 V‑drives with a 1:97 to 1 ratio, two 31” x 46” five‑blade main propellers and 2.75” diameter stainless‑steel shafts. Fresh‑water and waste capacity is handled by three polyethylene water tanks totaling 174 gallons and one 50‑gallon polyethylene waste tank, with a Racor 900 fuel filter serving the generator.
Electrical
The yacht’s electrical backbone comprises a 12/24‑volt DC system and a 120/240‑volt AC 60Hz system supported by a Charles 60‑amp battery charger, four 12‑volt engine‑start batteries on a 24V system, four 12‑volt house batteries on a 24V system and one 12‑volt generator battery. A Kohler 20 kW generator in a sound shield shows 3942 (Aug. 25, 2025) with a dedicated generator battery shut‑off switch, an isolator transformer and a Glendenning 50‑amp cable reel. In the engine room, a circuit‑breaker panel provides fourteen 24V breaker‑protected circuits alongside MAN engine control boxes, while at the lower helm an electrical panel consolidates five digital volt and amp meters including charge rate, a ship’s schematic with pump, battery and Nav‑light indicators, six breaker‑protected 24‑Volt circuits, nine breaker‑protected 240‑Volt circuits, eight breaker‑protected 120‑Volt circuits and generator start controls.
June 2023 yard visit
Professionally tended, the yacht benefited in June 2023 from two coats of SeaHawk Cukote bottom paint, Prop Glide applied to the running gear and verification of all seacocks for proper operation. A new cutlass bearing and refitted shaft seals restored driveline precision, and three new SeaBlaze white/blue underwater lights refreshed her evening presence.
