“Dharma” is a 1978 Hatteras 53 Yacht Fisherman featuring a well-preserved original factory cockpit. This vessel, hull number 318, represents one of the most coveted models from Hatteras Yachts. Remarkably, she remains in original condition, having not undergone significant alterations or modernizations by previous owners. The current owner, well-versed in yacht maintenance, has cherished this boat for local adventures in Florida with family and friends. All service on the Detroit Diesel engines has been performed by a seasoned mechanic with over 35 years of expertise. A recent engine oil and filter change was completed in February 2024. Comprehensive maintenance records, including new parts installations over the past three years, are available for prospective buyers. An Insurance Survey report from September 2023 is also on hand.

In August 2023, the yacht was lifted for essential repairs, including the replacement of cutlass bearings, rudder shaft seals, and bearings, along with the installation of new zincs and the application of Petit Prop Coat on the running gear. The engines are in good working order, with hour meter readings of Port 790 and Starboard 797. While the engines were overhauled at some point, the current seller does not possess the records. The original Onan 15 Kw generator is currently non-operational.
