Detailed Description
Overview
The 2004 Hatteras 75 Sportdeck Motor Yacht, Havilah, exemplifies legendary Hatteras quality and presents in excellent condition, thoughtfully maintained and tastefully updated as a late-model example of the celebrated seventy-five line. Twin Caterpillar C30 engines, each rated at 1,550 hp with 3,125 hours as of April 2026, deliver a top speed of approximately 28 knots and a fast cruise of 22 knots, while an efficient hull-down cruise settles at about 11.3 knots—just under 11.5 knots—at a total burn of around 25 gph. Stabilization is provided by the NAIAD digital MultiSea II fin system for confident comfort underway. Inside, high-gloss, raised-panel cherry envelopes a four-stateroom, four-head layout in which every stateroom enjoys its own private head; the full-beam master suite elevates privacy and luxury with optional his-and-her heads separated by a large, walk-through shower. Social spaces flow effortlessly from aft deck to salon, dining area, galley, and breakfast nook in an inviting “flow-through” arrangement, with the pilothouse just forward, discreetly accessed through a pocket door. From the pilothouse, stairs rise to the flybridge, while three guest staterooms are reached down a forward companionway; the master suite enjoys its own private staircase descending from the salon. Short-handed operation is a pleasure thanks to port and starboard pilothouse doors with cleats immediately outside, complemented by a Yacht Controller remote. Her technical pedigree is equally compelling, featuring a 1,561-gallon fuel capacity and a 345-gallon water capacity supported by a watermaker, along with a comprehensive 2026 Garmin electronics suite, Starlink connectivity, and modern TVs. A Yacht Controller remote adds fingertip maneuverability to her already intuitive handling. See the end of the listing for the complete schedule of yearly updates and upgrades.
Salon
The full-width salon showcases tasteful furnishings, with a large portside sofa offering ample storage and a designer coffee table anchoring the space. To starboard, two occasional chairs face cherry wood cabinetry that houses a TV on an internal lift. Forward to port, a dining table with six chairs invites formal meals, and farther forward to port the galley is defined by a peninsula counter that remains open to the salon. Across from the galley, a comfortable casual dining area encourages relaxed gatherings. Aft in the main salon, large double stainless steel sliding doors open to the large, covered aft deck.
Galley
The roomy on-deck galley evokes a residential kitchen, with expansive counter space and abundant cabinet storage, and most appliances have been thoughtfully upgraded. Notable features include a Whirlpool refrigerator from 2019, a KitchenAid dishwasher installed in May 2021, a microwave added in May 2021, and a new galley faucet from May 2021. An oven complements the stainless steel sink with sink disposal, while durable Amtico flooring underfoot and a casual dining area to starboard complete this welcoming culinary space.

The flybridge is centered around a comprehensive control station with switchgear and dimmable lighted instruments, complemented by a compass with dimmable light, Garmin 9013 display units from 2026, and a Garmin Autopilot from 2026. Command is effortless thanks to single-lever electronic hydraulic clutch and throttle controls, hydraulic power-assisted steering, an engine synchronization control, a rudder angle indicator, NAIAD stabilizer control, and VHF. A robust aluminum radar arch supports a custom hard top with DC lighting, all protected by a three-sided enclosure and framed by a stainless steel railing.
At the helm, a Stidd helm chair and a double companion seat from 2026 provide superb comfort, and both the helmsman and companion seat are fully adjustable. Social spaces are thoughtfully refined with a custom island key bar with three stools and U-shaped bridge deck seating with Sunbrella covered polyfoam cushions and storage, with access to the boat deck. Movement is intuitive through a custom walk-through to the boat deck, as well as stairs and a sliding door from the pilothouse. Entertainment is enhanced by stereo speakers with volume control, complemented by an additional stereo speaker with its own volume control.
Mechanical equipment
Power comes from twin CAT C-30 diesel main engines rated at 1550 hp, fresh water-cooled and paired with marine gears, neutral interlocks, exhaust silencers, an engine hour meter, alternators, fuel filters, and sea strainers, with up-to-date aftercoolers and rebuilt heat exchangers; engine hours are 3,125 as of April 2026. Electrical generation is provided by two Onan 21.5 kW fresh water-cooled diesel generators in sound enclosures with remote start, seawater strainers, hour meters, and water lift mufflers, showing 5890 hours on generator one and 7063 hours on generator two as of April 2026. Naiad MultiSea II stabilizers enhance comfort underway, while a polished stainless steel anchor installed new in 2021, a flybridge windshield replaced with new acrylic in 2021, and a custom-designed bilge fan installed in 2021 to deliver a constant flow of bilge air and remove any boat smells underscore thoughtful upgrades; an EPRIRB adds an additional layer of safety. The hydraulic steering system hose assembly, including the ram, was replaced and rebuilt in 2022, with the shelf on starboard redone at the same time, Racor gauges were replaced, and the rudders were dropped with bearings and seals replaced in 2021.
Illumination and ventilation are comprehensive, with AC fluorescent lights, DC lights, DC bilge blowers, and two AC ventilation fans, all supported by an AC distribution panel. Safety systems include a fire system and a fire extinguishing system serving the engine compartments and generator compartment, as well as overhead grab rails. Fluid and fuel management are equally robust, with a fuel tank selector manifold with gauges at the pilothouse console, automatic electric bilge pumps, ball‑valves on all underwater through hull fittings with electrical bonding throughout, a pressurized freshwater system with a 50-gallon electric water heater, UL approved fiberglass fuel tanks, and sewage holding tanks plumbed for dockside or overboard discharge with a level indicator light as part of the systems monitor. Serviceability and reliability are elevated by an oil changing system for engines and generators, a fuel filter/water separator for the generators, duplex fuel filters and water separators with bypass manifolds, fuel priming pumps, and an AC compressed air system with air, line and regulator.
Electrical
Power is delivered by two Onan 21.5 kW generators, while shore power is managed by two 50-amp, 240-volt transformer-connected retractable shore cords on Cablemaster reels with overcurrent protection, one to port and one to starboard. The main switchboard is positioned to port of the lower helm and features a full array of breakers and power-available indicator lights for both shore cords and generators. Two ACME 15 kVA transformers are mounted in the generator room, each dedicated to a shore cord, and a battery-parallel system with a switch at the control consoles enhances redundancy and control. Both AC and DC light fixtures and AC duplex outlets are strategically arranged throughout, supported by battery control panels with fuses and isolation switches. Distribution is organized through a DC panel with magnetic circuit breakers and AC panels with thermal/magnetic circuit breakers, complemented by AC distribution and switching panels that each incorporate a voltmeter, ammeter, frequency meter, generator start/stop controls, and interlock selector breakers. A comprehensive systems monitor provides visual and audible alerts for exhaust temperature, high bilge water, fire warning in the engine compartment, fire-extinguisher discharge in the engine room and generator room, AC power loss, smoke detectors, tank monitoring, and a fuel tank monitor. Navigation lights are fitted, and all AC receptacles and lighting benefit from ground-fault protection.

Upholstery enhancements introduced a three‑sided in‑track flybridge enclosure, refreshed flybridge helm chairs, bow cushions with cover, a lower helm windshield cover, and a cover for the new tender.
Appliance upgrades in 2021 comprised a full‑size clothes washer and dryer installed in April, a Whirlpool refrigerator replaced in 2019, a Kitchen Aid dishwasher in May, a microwave in May, a lazarette freezer in May, a new galley faucet in May, and a flybridge refrigerator in May.
