Overview
G3, the luxury superyacht, is one of just seven yachts in the Heesen 4400 Aluminium series and ranks among the most comprehensively modernised examples available today. Launched in 2008, she received a charter-focused refit in 2017, then a complete repaint with interior renewal in 2021–2022, followed by further mechanical upgrades and cosmetic enhancements during 2024, underscoring her pedigree.
Constructed in aluminium with a semi-displacement hull, this motor yacht blends performance with range. Twin MTU diesels deliver 7,200 hp for a 23-knot top end and a 17-knot cruise. Comfort at anchor is assured by CMC zero-speed fin stabilisers throughout any itinerary.
With design by Omega Architects, her living spaces feel open and adaptable. The main saloon showcases sweeping windows and a crisp, minimalist aesthetic. During the 2017 refit the formal dining was repositioned aft to flow directly onto the main deck terrace. A galley features Miele and Hoshizaki equipment plus a dumbwaiter. The skylounge opens to the bridge deck aft, creating a versatile hub for private or charter entertaining.
G3 welcomes up to 12 guests in five staterooms, attended by a crew of nine. The full-beam owner’s suite sits forward on the main deck with a spacious en suite and a private study that converts to a children’s cabin or massage room. Below, two doubles and two convertible twins each enjoy their own en suite for added privacy.
The sundeck of G3 presents a Jacuzzi bordered by generous sunpads and an open‑air cinema. Aft on the bridge deck, shaded alfresco dining is arranged. Created during the 2017 refit, the beach club unfolds at the waterline and incorporates a gym, wet bar and lounge. In 2024 the swim platform received a full mechanical rebuild. Forward, the foredeck is configured for tender and jet‑ski stowage, carrying a Williams SportJet 375 and four Sea‑Doo Spark jet skis, while a 10‑metre Intrepid chase boat is included in the sale. Additional water toys include two eFoils, a Radinn jet surfboard, five Seabobs, scuba gear with Bauer compressor, an inflatable sailing catamaran and kitesurfing kit.
Winter 2024–2025 works comprise extensive MTU engine maintenance, including a full QL3 service, replacement of all exhaust manifolds, installation of three new turbochargers and the rebuild of one existing unit. Yard periods covered the mechanical rebuild of the swim platform, new teak laid on the foredeck and sundeck, a complete air‑conditioning service, and a superstructure repaint (the hull was refinished in 2019). Steering rams, thrusters, stabilisers and propellers were all serviced, and inside every ceiling panel in the main saloon and guest cabins was renewed during this comprehensive programme of work.
G3 is wintering in Loano, Italy, and can be inspected at short notice. Please enquire for full particulars or to arrange a private viewing throughout the season; she welcomes qualified buyers aboard.
Detailed Description
Detailed description
Powered by two diesel MTU 16V 4000 M90 main engines, each producing 3,648 HP, this yacht delivers confident performance backed by meticulous upkeep, with engine hours recorded in October 2025 at 8,500 hours on both port and starboard. Power is transferred through ZF 7550 gearboxes, translating to purposeful speed and efficiency across a versatile envelope: eco at 10 knots, a comfortable cruising pace at 17 knots, and an exhilarating top speed of 23 knots. Fuel burn is carefully optimized, registering approximately 150 l/h at 10 knots, 720 l/h at 17 knots, and 1,380 l/h at 23 knots, while range is equally impressive—about 3,500 nm at 10 knots, 2,100 nm at 13 knots, 1,400 nm at 17 knots, and 930 nm at 23 knots—ensuring flexible itineraries without compromise.
Electrical resilience is assured by two Zenoro 99 kW main generators with hours in October 2024 showing 7,500 on both port and starboard, supported by European-spec electricity and shore power systems. Tankage is substantial for extended voyaging, with approximately 64,000 litres of fuel, 16,300 litres of fresh water, two Hem 25 Modular watermakers with Sandfilter 1236, 850 litres of clean lubricating oil, 750 litres of dirty lubricating oil, 5,900 litres of grey water, and black water managed via a Hamann sewage treatment plant.
Critical ship systems are engineered for precision and redundancy. Steering is by Heesen with hydraulic rams, complemented by Sperry Marine rudder angle indicators. Manoeuvrability at all speeds is enhanced by hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, while Naiad zero speed stabilizers deliver exceptional comfort at anchor and underway. Fuel filtration is MTU, with an Alfa Laval fuel oil separator and an RWO oil/water separator, Type Skit/S-DEB 0.5, Serial 8735. Bilge and fire pumps are by Heesen, boilers by Nibe, sewage treatment again by Hamann, WCs by eVAC, and climate control and ventilation throughout by Heinen & Hopman.
Safety and security meet the stringent REG Yacht Code for both safety and fire-fighting compliance, with medical readiness supported by a MedAire Ocean Pack and comprehensive alarms and monitoring by Huisman Elektrotechniek. Communications are world-class, featuring two Starlink Maritime terminals for high-speed satcom, a 5G cellular system, three VHF radiotelephones by Sperry and Icom, Watchkeeper BNWAS for vigilant watchkeeping, an IP telephone system, and ten Icom handheld UHF units.
Navigation is fully professional-grade, including a C.Plath magnetic compass, a Sperry Marine Navigat 100 gyro compass, a Sperry Marine Navipilot 4000+ automatic pilot, a Furuno Doppler speed log, a Furuno FE-700 echo sounder, two Furuno radars, a full ECDIS chart plotting suite, MX 420 GPS, Furuno NX-700 NAVTEX, B&G H3000 wind instruments, and a Furuno FA-150 AIS, ensuring precise situational awareness in all conditions.
Deck equipment is robust and thoughtfully specified, with two Brevini electric anchor windlasses, two Starlarrt electric aft warping capstans, and ground tackle comprising two 230 kg Poole Shhp anchors with 150 m of 17.5 mm chain. Tender handling is facilitated by a UMT 500 kg foredeck crane and davits, while boarding is via a Marquipt passerelle rebuilt in 2024. A Heesen swimming platform enhances water access, illumination comes from two ACR Electronics searchlights, and shading solutions are fitted across the sundeck, bridge deck, and main deck.
Onboard entertainment is immersive and intuitive. The main salon features a 70" TV with Apple TV and streaming paired with full surround sound, mirrored on the bridge deck with a 60" TV and the same cinematic audio. The sundeck transforms into an open-air cinema with a projector and screen, again with full surround sound. The owner’s cabin enjoys a 60" TV with Apple TV and streaming, guest cabins each feature 30" TVs with Apple TV and streaming, the captain’s cabin is fitted with a 30" TV with Apple TV and streaming, and the crew mess hosts a 40" TV with Apple TV and streaming to keep the whole team informed and entertained.
For office and operational efficiency, the bridge deck is equipped with a printer/scanner and laminator, supported by a Bridge PC, an ECR PC, and remotely accessible DeepBlue maintenance software to streamline technical management and record-keeping.
Domestic amenities are comprehensive and premium. The laundry is equipped with two Miele washing machines and two dryers. The pantry offers a Miele coffee machine, toaster, kettle, and Hoshizaki ice maker, with an additional Hoshizaki ice maker in the bridge deck pantry. In the crew mess, a microwave, toaster, kettle, and Nespresso coffee machine ensure comfort and convenience around the clock.
Additional lifestyle features elevate every moment on board, including a Four Seasons dip pool jacuzzi, ship’s safes in the bridge and master cabin, and a practical dumbwaiter for discreet service. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate Technogym Artis run, cycle, and row equipment, complemented by free weights and a bench.
Tenders and toys are curated for endless adventure. A Williams Sportjet 375 is poised on the foredeck, while watersports inventory includes four Sea‑Doo Spark jet skis on the foredeck, two eFoils, a Radinn jet surf, five Seabobs, two SUPs, two inflatable kayaks, an inflatable sailing catamaran, kitesurfing gear, and a wing foil. Diving capabilities are extensive, with five full sets of scuba equipment and a Bauer compressor, along with buoyancy aids, wetsuits, helmets, snorkels, and masks to suit every level of exploration.
Accommodation is arranged for ten to twelve guests in five beautifully appointed cabins. The full-beam master suite on the main deck features a flexible adjoining space that converts between office, massage room, or kids’ cabin, complete with two Pullman beds for adaptable family living. On the lower deck, guests are welcomed into two double cabins and two convertible cabins configurable as double or twin, providing exceptional versatility for mixed parties. Crew are comfortably housed in two twin crew cabins, three crew cabins, and a captain’s cabin with an additional Pullman bunk on the bridge deck, ensuring seamless service and professional operations on every passage.
