As the largest fully bespoke semi-displacement superyacht ever launched by Heesen, AFTER YOU commands attention with forward-thinking craftsmanship. Stretching 55 metres with a noteworthy volume just shy of 800 GT, her generous interior spaces were reinvented by Mark Berryman during a 2022 refit, while her Omega Architects profile was refreshed in a vivid, elegant blue livery.

She welcomes 12 guests in 6 sumptuous staterooms, highlighted by a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck of this luxury motor yacht with fold-out balconies to port and starboard, plus a spacious private lounge and dressing room. The lower-deck VIP is likewise full-beam and can be divided into two double cabins, ideal for owners seeking adaptable accommodation.

Expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing floods the interiors with natural light, especially within the chic main salon, a social hub complete with a convivial bar. The bridge-deck lounge, centered on its signature self-playing piano, flows aft to a dining area encircled by glass doors, creating a seamless, climate-controlled setting for refined indoor meals whatever the weather.

Out on deck, her lifestyle spaces are equally compelling: the main-deck pool seats up to 10 and is crowned by a dramatic waterfall feature. The sundeck adds a second Jacuzzi alongside a well-equipped gym and a serene wellness zone with sauna, hammam and a dedicated massage room to complete the yacht’s private spa.

Thanks to her semi-displacement hull form, AFTER YOU achieves an exhilarating top speed of 25 knots and cruises with ease at 17 knots.

Specifications

Measuring 55 meters (180 feet 6 inches) in length with a 9.4-meter (30 feet 11 inches) beam and a 3-meter (9 feet 11 inches) draft, this Heesen was delivered in 2011 and refit in 2022. Naval architecture is by Vripack in collaboration with Heesen, the exterior is by Omega Architects, and the interior was conceived originally by Ken Freivokh and Michela Reverberi and refined during the refit by Mark Berryman. She has a gross tonnage of 781, an aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, a semi-displacement hull configuration, and a striking navy blue hull paired with a white superstructure, and she flies the Cayman Islands flag. Built to Bureau Veritas classification and MCA compliant, she is heli-capable and handles a Eurocopter EC 135 or similar.

Power comes from two MTU 20V4000M93L main engines, each delivering 4,300 kW at 2,100 rpm, running on diesel. Fresh water capacity is 30,000 litres (7,925 US gallons) with holding tanks of 9,843 litres. She cruises comfortably at 17 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 25 knots.

Accommodation comprises six cabins for up to twelve guests. On the main deck there is one master cabin with a king bed and one double cabin; on the lower deck there is one VIP cabin with a queen bed that is convertible into two double cabins, one additional double cabin, and one twin cabin with two single beds. Crew areas provide six crew cabins plus one captain’s cabin, for a total of thirteen crew.

Machinery

Propulsion is delivered by two MTU 20V 4000 M93L diesel engines rated at 4,300 kW, driving twin screw propellers through two ZF 23560C gearboxes with ZF Autocontroll. Engine hours are recorded as 6558 h on the starboard engine and 9627 h on the port engine.

Electrical power is provided by two 175 kW Kilo Pak generator sets and one 80 kW Kilo Pak set, with hours showing 592 h on the forward generator and 27139 h on the aft generator, and an economical generator fuel consumption of 400 L/day. The yacht operates a 400 V electrical system and accepts shore power via a converter for 110 V/240 V/400 V, 50–60 Hz, 100 kW.

Battery systems include main engine starting banks of six 12 V 50 Ah batteries for the port engine and six 12 V 50 Ah batteries for the starboard engine, a service bank of six 12 V 200 Ah batteries paralleled to deliver 24 V and 600 Ah capacity, and emergency provision with 400 Ah capacity and emergency start batteries EMG 1 and EMG 2.

Climate control is assured by a chiller unit following a 2022 conversion to MC3-CH-C H&H, complemented by two fresh air control units converted to MC3-FA-C, with AHU1 positioned on the bridge deck port side and AHU2 forward on the bridge deck.

Additional machinery includes VT Naiad 820 stabilizers with two fins of 4.66 m2 providing Zero Speed capability, an HRP 120 kW hydraulically driven bow thruster, a Sperry Marine steering system, Alpha Laval fuel separation and filtration, Hamann sewage treatment, an HEM cold water fresh water system, and RWO bilge water filtration. Lubricating oil capacity is 2,000 litres (528 US Gallons) and waste oil capacity is 2,000 litres (528 US Gallons). A practical elevator serves the lower deck, main deck, and bridge deck, and does not extend to the sundeck.

Communication and navigation systems

Seamless communication on board is assured with SAT Com via Inmarsat C, a Panasonic telephone system, a Commander 1500 SSB, and a Sailor RT 5022 DSC VHF, complemented by a Gigaset cellular phone system and an SQS PS–1650H intercom for effortless internal coordination.

Precision navigation is delivered by dual Furano radars—one Band X and one Band S—working alongside a Sperry Marine SN. 1032-125 gyrocompass, a Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine magnetic compass, and a Sperry Marine Navpilot 4000 autopilot. Depth intelligence is provided by a Furano FE-700, situational awareness enhanced by a FLIR M400 night-vision system, and position and routing handled by SAAB GPS with an ECDIS chart plotter. Performance data flows from a Furano DS80 wind/speed log and a Furano NX-700 Navtex, while Dual TimeZero with an integrated WASSP system unifies and enriches the picture.

Entertainment throughout the yacht is orchestrated by a centralised controller using a Crestron GUI on iPads, serving Apple TV, Plex Server, Kaleidoscape, Direct TV, and IP TV to an array of premium displays. The main salon centers on a 100-inch Sony FW-100BZ40J with RGB lighting, while the BD salon features an 85-inch Sony FW-85BZ40H/ with RGB lighting. The master stateroom offers a 75-inch Sony FW-75BZ40H/ with RGB lighting, and the guests’ staterooms are appointed with 43-inch Sony TVs. On deck, the sundeck carries two 50-inch Sony TVs, and the aft deck adds a 50-inch Sony TV with RGB lighting and four disco lights with a Sound 2 light feature. High-speed connectivity is ensured by two Starlink Maritime antennas and a VSAT suite comprising two Intellian V130NX terminals, upgradable across GEO, MEO, and LEO. Television reception is handled by one Intelliant130W TVRO, while 4G/5G service runs through one BlueSIM dome connected via a balance router. Immersive audio comes courtesy of Bowers & Wilkins speakers and James Loudspeakers, and the Party Mode and karaoke system integrates sound, microphone, visual, and lighting for effortless celebrations. Cat7 cabling has been laid throughout to accommodate future upgrades.

Galley & laundry equipment

The main galley is professionally appointed with a Leventi oven and a Pakojet deep fryer, supported by two Convotherm Combi Steamer OES6.10 mini steam ovens and four MS-I-20EM induction cooktops for precise, high-capacity service. A Panasonic NE-1643 microwave sits alongside Heinen Hopman refrigeration and freezer systems and a Miele dishwasher, while a BKG dumbwaiter efficiently serves the lower deck, main deck, and bridge deck. In the crew galley and mess, convenience and reliability are assured with a Miele microwave and Miele dishwasher, complemented by a hot water boiler and a water filtration system. Additional amenities include a Juia Giga 10 coffee machine, one Eurocave V-PREM-L wine fridge and six mQuvee WineCave 800 60D units to safeguard the cellar, and five Hoshizaki IM-30CWNE-HC ice-makers to keep service flowing. Laundry needs are handled with ease by three Miele Pro washing machines and three Miele Pro tumble dryers.

Tenders & toys

A curated fleet of tenders and toys elevates every moment on the water, beginning with a 2024 VIKAL 7.5 m limo tender and a 2022 5.5 Castoldi Jet rescue tender. Explorations below the surface are fully supported by an onboard dive compressor and complete dive gear for twelve guests.

Thrill-seekers will delight in four 2024 SeaDoo GTX300 jet skis, three 2022 Seabob F5SR, four Lift Electric E-Foil boards, and two Ravic Awake S Electric Surfboards, complemented by waterskis, a wakeboard, and snorkelling gear. Anglers are perfectly equipped with full fishing gear on the mothership and the tender, enhanced by a tuna tower and outriggers for serious offshore pursuits.

On the waterline, a custom dock and waterpark accommodates four jet skis, four electric boards, seabobs, kayaks, and SUPs, joined by a custom inflatable prism tower and a custom inflatable bar and lounge area, plus playful donuts for towable fun. Wellness is well considered with a step machine, cross trainer, Technogym balls and weights set, resistance cables, and yoga mats, while a crane with an SWL of 1.5 tonnes ensures effortless launch and recovery of every asset.

Deck equipment

On deck, premium hardware ensures effortless handling and refined comfort. Anchoring is managed by a Staal Art CAR 37-24ED windlass paired with Staal Art aft warping capstans, Ship Equipment Center anchors weighing 373 kg, and Rema Holland 24 mm chain configured in two runs of five shackles. Tender handling and boarding are supported by Hydromar systems, including a boat crane with davits, a passerelle, a swimming platform, a swim ladder, and a side boarding ladder. Night operations are enhanced by searchlights and OceanLED underwater lights fitted by Huisman, while a dedicated garbage fridge adds practical convenience for extended cruising.

Safety & fire protection

For vigilant security, the yacht is equipped with a Samsung SHR-6162 CCTV system paired with Flir cameras and Hatteland monitors, delivering constant, high-clarity awareness across every deck. Fire protection is anchored by a Hi-Fog fire control system, Jockel fire extinguishers, and Tyco Minerva T2000 alarms, ensuring rapid detection and decisive suppression throughout the vessel. Comprehensive safety gear includes four Zodiac ZMEC 16 life rafts; life rings, life jackets, immersion suits, and lifebuoys; EPIRBs by Jotron complemented by a SART Jotron T20; Comet flares; and full commercial medical equipment for true bluewater readiness. For wellness at sea, the spa features a KLAFS hammam and KLAFS sauna, together with a dedicated massage room appointed with one fixed massage bed, one foldable massage bed, and two massage chairs.
