Her build speaks to enduring craftsmanship: mahogany planking on oak and steel frames with oak centerline timbers, all fastened by copper rivets and bronze screws, complemented by mahogany deck furniture and traditionally laid teak decks. A deck‑stepped Sitka spruce mast and boom are paired with stainless 1x19 rigging. Sail handling is confident and precise via four stainless Anderson 12ST manual winches and Spinlock XAS jammers. A removable bracket accommodates an outboard engine (engine not included). Practical essentials include a 12v bilge pump, battery and solar panel, while the sail inventory spans thirteen sails of varying ages.

Details of structural refit

During the major structural refit, the ballast was removed; a new oak keel was fabricated and installed; new keel bolts were fitted; and several frame ends and floor timbers were replaced, with planking renewed as needed.
