This 2018 Lagoon sailing catamaran showcases an opulent galley-down three-cabin arrangement anchored by a generous owner’s suite with private cockpit access. A full galley set port aft opens the saloon for relaxation and socializing, paired with an enclosed helm station. The flybridge offers sweeping views, abundant lounging, and dual helms.
Detailed Description
Overview
Playtime, a 2018 Lagoon 630 power catamaran, presents a beautifully executed four-stateroom plus crew layout with the galley thoughtfully located down to starboard, freeing an expansive, open Salon and Dining Area. Twin sliding doors dissolve the boundary to the enormous Aft Deck, where additional dining and lounging spaces surround a large bar console. Steering stations are positioned forward in the Salon and to port and starboard on the expansive Flybridge, which is crowned by a hardtop with an opening roof. Designed for huge, comfortable spaces both inside and on deck, she is equally phenomenal for private cruising or charter service.
Twin Volvo D4 300 hp engines provide confident propulsion, complemented by two generators and an inverter system for robust onboard power. The main engines show 1,200 hours, the 21.5 kW generator 8,540 hours, and the 12 kW generator 610 hours. A 96,000 BTU air conditioning system keeps the yacht impeccably comfortable. This very highly optioned U.S. spec vessel runs 60 Hz power and offers four guest cabins with heads plus one crew cabin with head, delivering the versatility and luxury that define the Lagoon 630 experience.
Salon
Flooded with natural light from large windows fitted with electrically actuated blinds, the salon showcases two L-shaped sofas to port and starboard, one side anchored by a large coffee table and the other served by two folding-leaf tables on hydraulic bases. These expandable, liftable tables transition effortlessly from cocktail height to a raised, unfolded dining configuration, creating comfortable accommodation for more than six people. Sliding double doors open to the aft deck to deliver a seamless indoor-outdoor flow, while rich Asburgo and Walnut interior wood, a fitted carpet, efficient air conditioning, and discreet overhead lighting craft an inviting ambiance. Forward on the centerline, the Lower Helm provides a secure command position for operation in inclement weather, complete with full controls and electronics.
Aft deck
The covered aft deck is designed for al fresco dining, anchored by a generous L-shaped banquette to starboard and a portside serving console with refrigeration. Teak decking draws you aft to additional seating and lounging areas, including welcoming transom seating, creating a seamless setting for entertaining. Dining for six or more is easily accommodated, with convenient access to the salon through double sliding doors and to the flybridge via stairs on the port side. Movement around the yacht is effortless, with direct routes to the swim platforms as well as the side decks and bow. Thoughtful amenities enhance every moment, from overhead lighting and discreet courtesy lights to a hot and cold freshwater shower, while port and starboard swim ladders invite spontaneous dips in the sea.
Galley
Aft in the port hull, the fully equipped galley welcomes you with convenient access from the aft deck or via the Salon, while natural light fills the space to make every culinary moment a pleasure. The chef benefits from a propane gas stove with vented exhaust paired with an oven for precise cooking, a microwave for quick preparations, and a grill for searing to perfection. Cold storage is generous with a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer complemented by a dedicated wine refrigerator, and pure drinking water flows from the integrated water purifier. Cleanup is effortless at the double stainless-steel sink with a dishwasher close at hand, while abundant storage keeps cookware and provisions neatly organized. Evenings are inviting with overhead lighting, and comfort is assured by air conditioning that maintains the ideal environment underway or at anchor.
Master stateroom
Commanding almost half of the starboard side, the master stateroom is a serene retreat reached privately from either the aft deck or the salon, with direct deck access as well. At its heart, a walk-around berth faces outboard to capture views of the water through large hull-side portlights, flanked by bedside tables and illuminated by reading lights and overhead lighting. Forward, a large hanging locker provides generous wardrobe space, while aft a dedicated seating area with a sofa sits just ahead of the ensuite head, which features steps leading up to the aft deck. Day-to-day essentials are neatly organized in storage drawers, and a makeup and writing desk offers a refined space for work or preparation. Comfort is assured with efficient air conditioning.
VIP guest stateroom
Entered with private access via stairs to starboard of the Lower Helm, the VIP guest stateroom offers more space than the second stateroom and is designed for serene comfort. A walk-around berth is oriented outboard to capture views of the water through the hull side portlights, while overhead lights and dedicated air conditioning ensure a bright, climate-controlled haven. Thoughtful amenities include a makeup and writing desk, a hanging locker, and storage drawers, all complemented by the privacy of an ensuite head.
Guest stateroom
To port of the Lower Helm, a stairway leads down to Guest Stateroom number three, where a walk-around berth faces outboard—like the others—to capture views of the water through the hull side portlights. Thoughtful appointments include overhead lights, a hanging locker, and storage drawers, while private access and an ensuite head ensure comfort and discretion.
Guest stateroom
Guest Stateroom four is reached via a stairway on the port side of the Salon, shared with the Galley, and it offers the flexibility to serve guests or crew members with ease. Along the inboard side, two generously sized over-and-under bunks provide comfortable berths, while a makeup/writing desk and storage drawers sit beneath the hull side portlights to make the most of natural light. A hanging locker supplements the ample storage, and overhead lights ensure a warm, well-lit ambiance at any hour. The ensuite head features a toilet and sink room with a second door, allowing convenient day-head access at the base of the stairs leading to Guest Stateroom #3.
Crew quarters
Situated in the port bow compartment, the crew quarters offer a practical and comfortable retreat, featuring a berth, sink, toilet, and shower, all supported by air conditioning to ensure a pleasant climate underway or at anchor.
Flybridge
The flybridge presents twin helm stations to starboard and port, a convivial dining area for six, and seating across the aft side. To port, stairs lead past a wet bar with refrigerator, while forward, generous sun lounges invite relaxation. An optional hardtop with a retractable center section includes a full enclosure.
Bow
At the bow, two dedicated sunning areas pair with inviting bow seats to create a serene retreat, while the ground tackle is routed cleanly along the centerline for balanced, efficient operation.
Mechanical equipment
Propulsion is entrusted to two Volvo D4 main engines delivering 300 hp each, with recorded hours as of June 2026 showing 1,194 on the port engine and 1,186 on the starboard. Shipboard power is provided by a Cummins Onan 21.5 kW generator with 8,540 hours as of June 2026, complemented by a Northern Lights 12 kW standby generator showing 610 hours as of June 2026. For extended autonomy, a Sea Recovery Aquamatic watermaker produces 280 l/h and 74 gal/h on 220 V, ensuring abundant fresh water whether underway or at anchor.
Electronics
A comprehensive Simrad electronics suite instills confidence at the helm, led by the Simrad 4G HALO Radar and supported by a Simrad Digital Fishfinder, a Simrad Forward Scan Sounder, a Simrad Navigation Pack, and a Simrad Wind Vane for precise guidance and awareness. Communication and safety are further elevated with a Simrad AIS 400 and a Simrad VHF double handset with DSC, while integrated cameras broaden situational visibility and a rudder joystick delivers precise low-speed maneuvering.
Electrical equipment
Engineered for dependable power management, the yacht features a 60 Hz 110V/220V AC system paired with a 24V DC system, enhanced by additional US-spec surge protection. Charging demands are handled by two 220V battery chargers delivering 100A each, while three 3000 VA inverters provide 24/110V at 60 Hz for seamless conversion and reliable redundancy. Maneuvering precision comes from a 24V bow thruster in the starboard hull with two joysticks, and the bow thruster delivers confident control at low speeds. Practicality on deck is assured by an anchor windlass on the bow and port and starboard mooring capstans aft, while onboard convenience is elevated by a Splendid washer and dryer.
