Detailed Description

Highlights: 2021 to current partial list

From 2021 to the present, this yacht has benefited from a comprehensive program of upgrades and care that includes new A/C units, new Glendenning controls, a Garmin electronics suite, and Rupp outriggers. Below the waterline the bottom was soda blasted, while mechanical work encompassed engine rebuilds and gears rebuilt. Power and reliability are enhanced with a Phasor gen set and gen set exhaust, and propulsion turns on Veem props. Onboard comfort is supported by two refrigeration units and batteries, with handling refined by attention to the rudder bearings and rudder seals.

Layout & accommodations

Descending two steps from the cockpit, a centerline door opens to a spacious cabin where a nicely appointed galley complements a head with a separate shower. Moving forward, a dinette to port faces two bucket chairs to starboard, creating a comfortable social area. The cozy V-berth is equipped with ample storage and a washer-dryer combo. Forward glazing, oversized side windows, and aft windows flood the interior with natural light, enhancing the open, airy feel.

Cabin

Bathed in natural light from forward windows and additional port and starboard panes, the cabin welcomes you with a warm teak-and-holly sole and an inviting sense of space. To port, a comfortable dinette provides an intimate spot for meals or chart work, while a V-berth with integrated storage ensures restful overnight accommodations. Practicality is thoughtfully addressed with ample drawer storage, a cedar-lined hanging locker, and discreet bilge storage, complemented by a washer/dryer combo unit for extended cruising ease. Two barrel chairs gather around a table with built-in storage to create a relaxed lounge for conversation or reading beside the mounted TV. Finishing touches such as spare wheel carriers underscore the yacht’s readiness for every passage.

Galley

The galley is thoughtfully appointed with two Thermador refrigeration units, a Chef microwave, and a Uline cooktop, all set against a handsome granite counter and a stainless sink. Natural light filters through the rear window to illuminate well-planned storage cabinets, while the classic parquet sole lends a warm, refined finish to this efficient culinary space.

Helm

Two steps up, the spacious helm offers commanding visibility, with the console set to starboard and cushioned bench seating to port and forward of the console, while the brow and seating incorporate generous storage throughout. A refined helm pod anchors the station, complemented by confident steering and single-lever Glendinning controls within easy reach. A dedicated electronics compartment safeguards vital systems, and the EZ2CY enclosure delivers clear, weatherproof protection. Two Stidd chairs provide superb support underway, and a belly band fitted with rod holders, together with dedicated rod storage, keeps tackle organized and ready for action.

Tankage

Designed for confident range and balanced trim, the yacht carries a total fuel capacity of 600, apportioned as 400 in the cockpit and 200 forward. Freshwater stores measure 200 USG, while the holding tank capacity is 50 USG, delivering practical autonomy for extended cruising.

Head

Designed for comfort and practicality, the head is a dry space with a separate shower and integrated storage, illuminated and ventilated by a window with a slider. A dependable Raritan fixture complements the sleek sink, while a vanity with storage and additional cabinet storage keep essentials neatly arranged. The warm parquet sole completes the space with a touch of timeless craftsmanship.

Main deck

The main deck revolves around a massive cockpit where wide gunwales promote confident movement to the bow, complemented by a secure bow rail. A robust hardtop with an EZ2CY enclosure shelters the area, while the engine boxes, topped with fitted cushions, create a perfectly shaded lounge spot. Teak covering boards frame the cockpit with classic warmth, and a heavy non-skid surface underfoot provides steadfast footing. Practicality is built in with bilge access through the steps, an anchor locker and safety hatch forward, and a shore power outlet rated at 50 Amp, alongside salt and fresh water outlets and convenient dockside water. Clean, efficient drainage is assured by a central drain system paired with a central 3" gutter system, and onboard sanitation is handled by a Lectra San system. The build showcases foam core construction finished in an Awl-grip custom hull color, while stainless hinges, twelve-inch stainless cleats, and stainless hawse pipes underscore lasting durability. Performance-minded details include a hard reverse chine, 4", for a purposeful, confident ride.

Electronics upgrade

This yacht showcases a comprehensive, professionally integrated electronics suite that elevates navigation, communication, and entertainment. Connectivity begins with WIFI via Star Link mini, while helm intelligence is anchored by a Garmin 010-02093-01 chartplotter system featuring a GPSMAP 8616 16" chartplotter with mapping, a Garmin 010-01010-10 GPS 19x NMEA 2000 antenna, a Garmin 010-02087-00 AIS 800 blackbox transceiver, and a Garmin 010-02251-00 USB card reader. The Garmin sounder system centers on the GSD 26 Digital Black Box Network Sounder w/Spread with the 010-00958-00 Spectrum Sonar Technology Furuno transducer, and critical data is presented on the Garmin 010-01140-00 GMI 20 marine instrument display. For situational awareness, the Garmin K10-00012-04 radar system pairs with the GMR 1204 XHD Radar 4ft/12kW pedestal array, while precision handling is assured by the Garmin 010-00705-79 Auto Pilot V2 with GHC 20 display.

Clear, confident communication comes from the Icom M506 31 VHF and the M506 VHF fixed mount w/rear mic, supported by a Shakespeare 6018-R VHF 17.6' w/base. Entertainment is equally compelling with the Fusion 010-02346-00 stereo system and the APOLLO WB670 hideaway stereo system w/ AM/FM/BT/SIRIUSXM from Fusion, complemented by a Fusion MS-NRX300I NRX300 (Salon) controller, a Sirius SXV300 Sirius Receiver SXV300, and a Shakespeare SRA-50 SRA-50 SIRIUSXM SATELLITE component. Acoustics are powered by a JL Audio M600/6 6 channel marine amplifier from JL Audio driving M6-880-CGwGw 8.8" marine coaxial speakers and M6-770X-C-GWGW 7.7" marine coaxial speakers, with a Fusion MS-OS420 4" compact box speaker enriching the soundstage. Visuals and control are completed by a Samsung 40" LED Smart TV and a Direct TV RC65RX RF remote for satellite TV receivers, while precise underwater data flows from an Airmar DT820BV-235-N2 NMEA 2000 DT800 smart sensor with 0 degree tilt.

Engines & mechanical

During the 2023 refit, the engines and gears were removed from the vessel and bench rebuilt, while the engine boxes and generator area were faired, painted, and modernized. Power comes from MAN 2848LE403 V8 engines rated at 800 HP. The port engine carries PRT Serial #: 4230460161A301 with 430 HRS SMOH and 1740 Total Time, while the starboard engine carries STB Serial #: 4230460198A301 with 430 HRS SMOH and 1740 Total Time.

Below the waterline, two-inch stainless shafts spin Veem four-blade Nibral wheels sized 25 inches by 35 inches, while P & S dripless shaft seals and P & S dripless rudder seals enhance reliability. Battery boxes are fitted, fire protection is handled by a Sea Fire Halon 1301-FH300A system, and a stainless hot water heater completes the mechanical suite.

Electrical system

Charging is comprehensive, featuring battery chargers for both 12- and 24-volt banks, a dedicated 24-volt charger, a ProMariner 63160 charger, and a ProNautic 1260P 60-amp charger serving electronics, generator, and LP reels. GFI-protected outlets are distributed throughout, and efficient LED lighting is installed on both AC and DC circuits, complemented by a Lumitec 13128 Mirage Mount exterior down light in RWB and four underwater lights for dramatic nighttime presence. The system is anchored by Group 31 AGM batteries—replaced in 2023—secured in a dedicated battery tray for Group 31 batteries and supplying power to three 24-volt dredge reels. Filtration and ancillary hardware include two Racor 500 units and Hubbell 328 DCR miscellaneous components, underscoring a specification crafted for dependable performance and ease of service.

Fishing

Serious capacity comes from two 200 USG fish boxes served by fish box macerators, while a transom door streamlines every maneuver. Power and utility are close at hand with 12/24 outlets and S&F washdowns, complemented by trolling valves to round out this truly tournament-focused setup.
