Detailed Description
Machinery
Power comes from twin 805 hp MTU Detroit Diesel 12V 2000 Series main engines, delivering a combined 1,610 hp at 1,800 RPM. Serial numbers are Port: 5352001955 and Starboard: 5352001960. The port engine records 10,400 total hours with 1,354 hours since major overhaul, while the starboard shows 10,200 total hours with 1,154 hours since major overhaul.
Generators & auxiliary systems
Electrical generation is assured by two Northern Lights M1064A generator sets, each rated at 92 kW and consuming approximately 5 gal/hr. The port generator shows 19,127 hours with 2,429 hours since major overhaul, while the starboard shows 17,977 hours with 2,063 hours since major overhaul. Shore power is managed through an Atlas Automated Main Switch Board with 70 kW shore-power capability. Propulsion drivetrains are mated to Twin Disc MG-6557-00-PW gearboxes. Ride comfort is enhanced by American Bow Thruster Trac stabilizers with zero-speed functionality, installed new in 2022 and effective both underway and at anchor. Steering is precise via twin Hydronax double-ram steering systems.
Tank capacities
Long-range autonomy is underpinned by fuel capacity of 5,415 gallons (20,498 L), complemented by 1,200 gallons (4,542 L) of fresh water. Black water capacity is 405 gallons (1,533 L) and grey water capacity is 805 gallons (3,047 L). Service fluids are neatly managed with 200 gallons (757 L) of lube oil capacity and 200 gallons (757 L) of waste oil capacity.
Safety & security equipment
Security is comprehensive, with a camera suite comprising five exterior units and two in the engine room, monitored across four dedicated displays distributed between the bridge, galley, and the captain’s and engineer’s cabins. Fire protection is robust, featuring FM200 systems in the lazarette and engine room, a full complement of extinguishers including seventeen powder, five CO2, one foam, and one nitrogen unit, and two fire panels—one in the engine room and one on the bridge. Safety equipment is equally thorough: four Zodiac life rafts for eight persons each, life rings comprising two with light and smoke and two with light, twenty-one adult lifejackets with lights and six child lifejackets with lights, a line-throwing appliance, two EPIRBs, two SARTs, a set of twelve flares, and MedAire medical equipment.
Communication equipment
In the pilothouse, satellite communications keep the yacht connected, complemented by an internal intercom telephone system. Ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore communications are handled by two Furuno FM-8500 VHF units, with intercom functionality integrated throughout.
Navigation equipment
Navigation is anchored by dual Furuno systems: an FR-2135 S-band radar and an FR-2115-B X-band radar. Heading data are provided by both a gyrocompass and a magnetic compass. Course keeping is precise with the Anschutz NP2015 autopilot and steering system. Depth and environmental data come via the B&G Hydra 2000 depth sounder, with wind and speed logging through Hydra 2000, while position is confirmed by three Leica MX420 GPS units. Electronic navigation is streamlined with the Nobeltec digital chart system.
Deck equipment
Ground tackle is substantial, with two anchors worked by Maxwell electric windlasses and twin lengths of chain at 450’ each. Handling of tenders and toys is effortless via a Marquipt boat crane and davits rated to 2,500 lbs. Boarding is refined with a Marquipt hydraulic passarelle that extends fully to 25’.
Galley & domestic equipment
The main galley is equipped for professional service, centered on a Miele induction cooktop with five burners and complemented by a Miele cooking suite with two ovens and one grill. A Kenmore 120 V single‑phase microwave speeds prep, while cold storage is expansive with two Sub-Zero 611 integrated refrigerator/freezers, a walk‑in refrigerator offering 200 sq ft of storage, and a Sub-Zero 611F standard deep freezer. Dishwashing is handled by a Miele professional short‑cycle 240 V machine. For laundry, the vessel carries two Miele PW 6065 Professional washing machines paired with two Miele PT 7136 Plus Professional dryers.
