Upgrades and new equipment 2020-2023

Between 2020 and 2023, the yacht underwent a series of significant upgrades and installations, ensuring it remains at the forefront of modern maritime technology and comfort. In 2021, the toilet system was upgraded to a Headhunter model, alongside the installation of a Headhunter tank level monitoring system. The exhaust risers were re-engineered and fabricated in 2020, enhancing the vessel's performance. By 2022, the running gear, including shafts, bearings, and props, was completely overhauled.

A major enhancement in 2021 was the complete replacement of the air conditioning system with a USA-made Flagship Marine System, featuring three 4-ton chiller units and 14 blower units, ensuring optimal climate control throughout the yacht. All pumps, including those for black, gray, potable water, chain wash, and AC raw water, were either replaced or rebuilt between 2020 and 2023.

The navigation bridge was transformed in 2022 with the installation of a Class Panel SIMRAD system, offering all functions via a touchscreen interface. The passerelle and hydraulics were removed and completely rebuilt by Marine Hydraulics in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 2022. That same year, the entire hull received a vinyl wrap, giving the yacht a fresh and modern appearance.

In terms of engine upgrades, the starboard main engine was totally rebuilt to zero hours in 2022, while both port and starboard main engines were factory remanufactured and repowered in 2010. The original Duetz engines were replaced with powerful MTU 16-cylinder engines, each delivering 2,000 horsepower. Additionally, new air conditioning vents, ducting, and a spare AC blower unit were installed in the forward VIP cabin, ensuring comfort and efficiency.

Features

The yacht boasts a robust hull with fiberglass decks overlaid with teak, providing both durability and elegance. The propulsion system features 4-inch stainless steel propeller shafts and cutlass bearings, complemented by a spade rudder for precise maneuverability. The machinery is powered by MTU engines, equipped with Racor filters and stainless steel risers for the exhaust line, which is further silenced by a water collector-type muffler. The engine alternator operates at 24 volts, with electronic controls and flex-type shaft logs, while the dripless seals ensure minimal maintenance. A reverse osmosis watermaker from South Florida provides fresh water, supported by electric and automatic bilge pumps connected to a 20-volt compartment manifold. The freshwater pressure system runs on 220 volts.

The electrical system includes Kilopak generators on both port and starboard sides, each with four cylinders running at 1800 RPM and cooled by freshwater. Exhaust lines are fitted with fiberglass mufflers, and Racor filters maintain clean operation. Battery charging is handled by Professional Mariner and Newmar units, with lighting provided by a combination of 24-volt DC and 110-volt AC systems. The yacht is equipped with ten batteries to ensure reliable power.

In terms of electronics, the yacht is outfitted with Simrad radar, Icom and Garmin VHF radios, and Starlink satellite TV. Navigation is supported by Furuno and Simrad GPS systems, with a Simrad autopilot and depth sounder, and a Ritchie magnetic compass. An ACR searchlight enhances visibility.

Deck equipment includes two 250-pound stockless anchors with approximately 300 feet of chain on both port and starboard, operated by Lofrans windlasses. Stainless steel cleats and safety rails provide secure mooring and safety. The audio and video systems feature Fusion stereos and televisions from Insignia, LG, and Samsung.

The yacht's equipment includes five underwater lights at the transom, dual cylinder trim tabs, line cutters on shafts, and a dual propeller bow thruster. Refrigeration cooling coils are located portside. The radar arch is equipped with a Starlink satellite antenna, WiFi antennas, two ACR searchlights, a radar scanner, and navigation lights for all directions.

The decks and superstructure are constructed with a fiberglass deck featuring molded non-skid surfaces, courtesy lights, and dual Lofrans anchor windlasses. The bosun's locker contains a hold light, chain locker with approximately 300 feet of chain on each side, and an electric/automatic bilge pump.

The aft deck is finished with teak over fiberglass, featuring stainless steel handrails and rails, hinged gates to the swim platform, stereo speakers, and Lofrans warping winches. Safety equipment includes two 6-man Viking life rafts and a 100-amp shore power cord on both port and starboard. The garage is equipped with a hydraulic operated access hatch, power pack, steering power pack, passerelle davit, and a CO2 fire suppression system.

The helm features a magnetic compass, three Simrad displays, controls for anchor windlass, ACR searchlight, Simrad autopilot, and CCTV. The helm deck includes a teak deck, windscreen, vinyl bimini top, U-shaped settees, dining and cocktail tables, and a wet bar with a stainless steel sink and Frigit refrigerator.

The salon is elegantly appointed with a laminate plank sole, vinyl overhead panels, sofas, ottomans, an LG LCD television, a desk, and a dry bar with a marble top. The galley companionway and companionway are equipped with laminate soles, vinyl overheads, and essential panels for electrical service, fire alarms, and pump controls.

The day head features a marble sole, oak wall paneling, a marble top vanity with a sink, a large mirror, and a Royal Flush toilet. Firefighting and safety equipment include portable dry chemical fire extinguishers, a built-in CO2 system, an auxiliary fire pump system, life rafts, life jackets, life rings, a bell, a horn, and an ACR E.P.I.R.B.

Accommodations include a bow stateroom with a carpeted sole, birdseye cabinetry, a queen berth, and a head with a marble sole and Jacuzzi tub. The starboard and port staterooms offer twin berths, marble top vanities, and shower stalls. The master stateroom features a king-size berth, custom desk, and a head with a marble vanity and Jacuzzi tub. Crew accommodations include forward and aft crew staterooms with laminate soles and recessed lights.

The galley is equipped with laminate soles, recessed lights, molded counters, dual stainless-steel sinks, Frigit freezers and refrigerators, a General Electric dishwasher, a Miele oven, a Samsung LED television, and a Scotsman icemaker. The engine room is accessible from the aft deck and crew quarters, featuring a diamond plate sole, fluorescent and DC hold lights, a galvanic isolator, and a comprehensive array of power management and safety systems.
