Overview

Motor Yacht ROCCO measures 96’ (29.26m) and is offered for sale, crafted and launched by Monte Carlo Yachts, with delivery in 2021. The luxury superyacht accommodates up to 12 guests across 5 staterooms, plus quarters for 5 crew in 3 cabins aboard.

Detailed Description

Overview

ROCCO, the newest addition to the Monte Carlo Yachts 96 series, arrives in exceptional condition, embodying the award-winning vision of Nuvolari Lenard and appealing equally to first-time yacht owners and seasoned enthusiasts looking to upgrade. With an impeccable charter history that underscores a proven record of dependable charters, she is equally compelling as a private family retreat, delivering an outstanding ownership experience.

Her unique layout optimizes every inch of interior and exterior space, beginning with a well-appointed bow and culminating in a spacious flybridge complete with bar, table, and sunbathing area. A retractable top encourages fresh air circulation and heightened sun exposure, making her an inspired choice for off-season cruising and leisurely days at anchor.

ROCCO accommodates up to twelve guests across five staterooms, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck—a rarity in this yacht category—supported by a professional team of five crew. High sides enhance safety for families with children, while the bow’s large sunbed and a convertible table that transforms into an additional sunbathing area invite relaxed moments throughout the day. The flybridge table becomes a private perch for breakfast with a view or a refined pre-dinner drink at sunset.

A large hydraulic swimming platform with tilting function ensures effortless access to the water and straightforward jet ski launching, elevating both versatility and fun. Turn-key by design, ROCCO anticipates no large expenses in the near future, and her engines remain under warranty until October 2026, offering welcome peace of mind for your first summer aboard.

Tender and toys

A Williams 445 Diesel Jet tender stands ready to whisk guests ashore and support every adventure, while the water-toy arsenal promises endless fun with a Seadoo Spark Trixx jet ski, two Sea Bobs F5S for sleek underwater exploration, a Jobe Lunar towable for three persons, an SUP Jobe Duna 11.6 for serene paddling, and complete snorkeling equipment for discovering the world beneath the waves.

Main systems / electrical

Designed for absolute comfort in any climate, the yacht’s tropical air conditioning delivers 278,000 BTU/h throughout, including bathrooms and crew quarters, complemented by an air-conditioned control room. Electrical resilience comes from an upgraded power suite with two 45 kW, 50 Hz generators, a 24 V/220 V inverter rated at 5 kW, and a shore isolator transformer of 125 A, one unit. Precision maneuvering is assured by a hydraulic bow thruster and a hydraulic stern thruster, with electric anchor windlasses and a powerful searchlight ready at the bow alongside twin bow anchors and flaps. Seamless command is provided by a third control station on the flybridge featuring bow and stern thruster joysticks, full engine controls, and a monitor for cameras, plus an additional control station in the rear cockpit with bow and stern thruster joysticks and engine controls. At the stern, electric aft mooring winches ease docking, while stabilizer fins with an anchor stabilizing function enhance comfort at rest and underway. Maintenance is simplified by an engine and generator oil change system, dual Racor filters for the engine, and Racor filters for the generator, all backed by an automatic fire fighting system for added safety. Domestic autonomy is exceptional with a fresh water system of 1,650 L capacity, a water maker delivering 220 L/h paired with an additional water maker of 220 L/h, and a fresh water pump rated at 80 L/min, alongside a robust sea water system. Atmosphere and visibility are elevated by four Megayachts underwater lights, together with concealed lighting for the forward cockpit area and for the flybridge.

Exteriors

The bathing platform hosts a dedicated cradle for the tender and a hydraulic up/down lifting platform with gross loading capacity up to 1200 kg with tilting feature, leading directly to a garage for tender suitable for a 4.45 Williams turbo jet tender. A megayacht concealed gangway ensures effortless boarding, while semi-automatic electric weathertight doors link the service area to the port and starboard sideways. An upgrade to the main deck saloon bulwark balcony with a weathertight sliding saloon crystal door is available to starboard or port per balcony, and a flybridge hatch enhances ventilation and access. Two doors provide side access for seamless movement throughout.

Crafted in rich teak, the exterior flooring extends across the cockpit, the sideways, the bathing platform, and the flybridge, and is complemented by sideways teak hand rails. Comfort and versatility abound with four teak chairs in the stern cockpit and eight teak chairs on the flybridge. Practical deck hardware includes cleats on the sideways close to the bow sunpads and additional cleats on the aft deck at bathing platform level. Overhead, a carbon fibre T-Top on the flybridge with a soft sliding top provides adaptable shade. Atmosphere and protection are assured by a light system for the crystal fashion plates, dimmers for the flybridge lights, windows and windscreen external covers, and external cushions, sunpad and tables covers.

The main deck benefits from a closing for the aft cockpit, while the front cockpit—with cocktail tables and sofas—sits beneath its own front cockpit cover. Further refinements include a flag stem, sidewalk weathertight access to the engine room and crew quarters, and a dock side water inlet with water filters. Entertainment is elevated on the flybridge with an electric grill, a fridge, and an ice maker, and the yacht’s identity is showcased by the boat name in inox lettering with retrolight.

Interiors

Crafted for effortless living and entertaining, the interior showcases a fully equipped galley with Miele or equivalent appliances, including an oven, galley extractor and hobs, complemented by a professional multifunction oven. A side-by-side fridge and freezer, a wine cooler for around thirty-five bottles, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a drying machine ensure every practical need is elegantly met. The ambience is refined by an LED light system with dimmers for the main deck saloon, fly bridge and aft cockpit, courtesy lights along the staircase to the cabins, and a sophisticated domotic system managing electric blinds and lights, further enhanced by an Upgrade Package with A/C controls included. Electric roman blinds grace the owner’s suite and saloon, with additional roman blinds elsewhere, while an electrical ceiling blind in the owner’s cabin replaces the manual version for seamless convenience. Portholes feature mosquito nets to welcome breeze without compromise.

Comfort and style are elevated by memory foam mattresses, towel sets for bathrooms—one set per berth, including crew—and safe boxes for the owner’s and VIP cabins. The owner’s bathroom features a bidet, and Japanese Tecma seats are installed in the owner’s cabin only. Guest accommodations are versatile and inviting, with sliding beds in the guest cabins that unite to create a queen-size bed, and a Pullman bed in each guest cabin for added flexibility. A day toilet is thoughtfully positioned on the main deck.

Underfoot, the main deck saloon is finished in wood, the galley benefits from a hi-tech material floor, and the bathrooms are appointed with stone floors. Stone walls enrich the showers in the VIP, owner and guest cabins, while headboards are finished in leather with top-quality fabrics that echo throughout, including a VIP cabin vanity pouf upholstered to the same luxurious standard. The helm reflects equal attention to detail with a leather main dashboard seat featuring electrical movement for precise adjustment. Completing the onboard experience, a curated Extra Luxe Decor and a full complement of crockery, cutlery and glasses—set for ten—underscore the yacht’s commitment to elevated living, while additional soundproof insulation between the master cabin and lower deck ensures serene privacy at sea.

Audio & visual equipment

An advanced KVH TV8 satellite television system anchors the onboard entertainment, with wiring for decoders dedicated to the main deck saloon and the owner’s cabin, a matching dummy dome for visual symmetry, and decoders excluded. In the main deck saloon, a 55" Edge LED full HD TV rises on an up/down lift and is paired with Blu-ray DVD players and a Home Theatre System, while a 49" Edge LED full HD TV with Blu-ray DVD players and a Home Theatre System serves additional living spaces. The VIP staterooms are appointed with 32" Edge LED full HD TVs with Blu-ray DVD players, the guest staterooms with 28" Edge LED full HD TVs with Blu-ray DVD players, and the crew cabins with 22" Edge LED full HD TVs with Blu-ray DVD players; the crew dining area and galley feature a 32" Edge LED full HD TV with Blu-ray DVD players, and the captain’s cabin is equipped with a 28" Edge LED full HD TV with Blu-ray DVD players. On the flybridge, a 55" Edge LED full HD TV with Blu-ray DVD players deploys on an up/down and rotation lift system, complemented by a Fusion stereo on the flybridge and another Fusion stereo dedicated to the bow lounge area. The entire audio landscape benefits from an upgrade to the audio systems and Home Theatre, featuring a Sonos system for interiors and exteriors.

Helm / navigation electronics

At the helm, the main deck dashboard can be configured with three 15-inch LCD displays that include a Radar/GPS Chartplotter with STO and a Raymarine GS-series keyboard, or with three 19-inch LCD displays that include a Radar/GPS Chartplotter with a Raymarine keyboard. On the flybridge dashboard, a touchscreen LCD provides monitoring system control for main functions, complemented by a Raymarine AXIOM 12 radar chartplotter GPS with two 12-inch displays, with Upgrade Package 1 offering a Raymarine AXIOM 16 radar chartplotter GPS with two 16-inch displays. The suite is anchored by a Raymarine radar antenna (Open Array 72 nm - super HD 48-inch), an AIS receiver and transceiver, the Raymarine Auto Pilot Evolution on both the main deck and flybridge dashboards, a Raymarine Multifunctional Tridata display, and Furuno VHF DSC on both helms. Essential readouts and communication are further enhanced by engine digital displays, a portable interphone system, videocameras in the aft cockpit and two in the engine room, a 4G router for wireless WAN connection, and an additional touchscreen in the crew area or captain’s cabin serving as a monitoring system and alarms repeater.

Additional custom options

Thoughtfully specified enhancements elevate life on board, including an additional ice maker and an additional fridge in the main deck saloon, a professional air extraction fan for the galley, and an additional teppanyaki grill in the flybridge galley to expand culinary possibilities. The exterior receives hull and aft side deck painting (not including custom full yacht painting), while the main deck saloon is refined with a dedicated coffee table. Seating is tailored with 6 x chairs on the aft cockpit, 2 x teak director chairs and 3 x teak director stools, in lieu of 4 + 8 standard teak director chairs, and the deck is complemented by Paola Lenti free-standing sun lounges. Entertaining is simplified with a full set for 12 of crockery, cutlery and glasses, plus a spare set for 6.

Power and drive systems

Power and performance are delivered by two MTU 16V 2000 M86 engines, each producing 2,200 hp, with coverage remaining under warranty up to 2,150 hours or three years from October 6, 2023. Both engines show 1,346 hours, while both generators register 2,072 hours. Drive is managed through twin ZF 3060 V gearboxes, with a rudder and steering system in AISI 316 steel and power-assisted steering available at both the flybridge and main helm. Precision low-speed maneuvers are effortless thanks to an optional third control station with bow and stern thruster joystick and electronic reversing-gear levers, complemented, when specified, by an optional fourth control station offering the same functionality. A proportional hydraulic bow thruster rated at 57.5 hp provides decisive lateral control with dual control panels at the main helm and flybridge, and an optional proportional hydraulic stern thruster of 57.5 hp mirrors this capability with duplicate controls when installed. Trim and running attitude are optimized by two hydraulic flaps featuring double reversible actuators with control pads at the main helm and on the flybridge, while optional CMC SE60 stabilizer fins further enhance comfort underway.

Mooring

Designed for unwavering control at anchor and in port, the mooring suite features two 114 kg PTW High Holding Power anchors, each paired with 140 m chains of 14 mm diameter, with the option of polished stainless steel anchors for an elevated finish. Anchor handling is effortless via two 3 kW 400V AC electric anchor winches, with remote controls at the foredeck, main helm, and flybridge, complemented by floor controls on deck near each winch. For precise docking assistance, two 2,2 kW 400 V AC aft mooring winches with UP push buttons are conveniently positioned in the cockpit area. Side stainless steel protections safeguard the anchors, while bow and stem stainless steel fairleads with rollers ensure smooth line management. Robust stainless steel cleats are strategically arranged: two in the bow area, two forward of the Portuguese bridge, 11°4 in the stem area, two in the stem tails, and two on the sideways for springs.

External layout and equipment

On the flybridge, an external staircase with teak steps rises to an inviting open-air haven illuminated by lights and perimeter courtesy lighting. Access is seamless via a Plexiglas and aluminum hatch, or through a refined glass and stainless steel sliding door from the raised pilot house. A Plexiglas and stainless steel windscreen, together with a stainless steel protection pulpit and handrails featuring integrated supports for lifecrafts, frames the space with both safety and style. Two fiberglass radar masts, black painted and paired with a fiberglass arch, support the navigation lights, radar and GPS antennas equipment, TV antenna, horn, lightning protection, and flybridge lights. The pilot console presents navigation and engine control screens with full instrumentation, complemented by a steering wheel in skay, main engines and reversing gear electronic levers, key switches for the port and starboard engines, horn, anchor winch, searchlight, and fire extinguisher controls, all served by a helm seat and storage behind the pilot seat (not available when OPT TV lift is selected). Social zones include one C‑shaped sofa with integrated chaise longue, decorative pillows, and large‑capacity storage, as well as one linear sofa with decorative pillows and generous storage. A sunbathing aft platform invites relaxation, while a well-appointed galley provides a sink with hot and cold water supply, fridge, ice maker, and two separate electric grills. Customization abounds with the option for a SPA tube installation on the flybridge, and an optional carbon T‑top with electrically operated sliding soft top.

At the stern, the bathing platform features a hydraulic up/down lifting system with a 1.200 kg (gross) maximum loading capacity and a tilt function upgrade. The platform size is suitable for a 4.45 m long tender and is finished with a teak floor and a stainless steel fender bar with rubber insert reinforcement. Practicality meets polish with a transom lazarette operated by a hydraulic door and a foldable, removable bathing ladder. Stern stairs lead to the aft cockpit, flanked by stainless steel handrails and hatches for shore power connection and a stem platform shower. An electro‑hydraulic concealed stainless steel gangway with teak grating and manual stanchions ensures effortless boarding. The tender garage option, accessible from the lazarette door, accommodates a 4.45 Williams diesel jet tender or a two‑seaters jet ski and works in harmony with the transom hydraulic up/down lifting system offering a 1600 kg (gross) maximum loading capacity.

The aft cockpit exudes refined hospitality with teak handrails on the bulwark supported by stainless steel uprights, a teak floor traced by perimeter courtesy lights, and stainless steel and tempered glass fashion plates providing lateral protection with integrated courtesy lighting. A stainless steel and tempered glass saloon door connects indoors and out, while stainless steel gates secure the stern staircases. Comfort is assured by a stern sofa with storage and a teak dining table on fixed supports, set beneath power LED and courtesy lights on the ceiling. Four foldable teak director chairs expand seating, and stainless steel cleats are thoughtfully arranged with two at the bathing platform level and four in the mooring area. For enhanced lounging, an option of five armchairs is available.

Along the sideways, teak decking with perimeter courtesy lighting guides movement fore and aft. The superstructure hosts diesel intakes on both port and starboard sides with a fuel recovery system and level indicators concealed behind a GRP door. GRP steps clad in teak discreetly house black and grey waste discharges. Teak handrails on the bulwark with stainless steel supports ensure secure passage, while stainless steel cleats are positioned with two on the sideways and two forward of the Portuguese bridge. A stainless steel fender bar with rubber insert reinforcement adds robust protection. LED downlights illuminate the ceilings, a light system enhances the crystal fashion plates, and tempered high thickness glass windows are elegantly bonded to the superstructure. Accessibility is assured with two semi‑automatic electric weathertight doors—from the main dashboard to the port side sideway and from the guests’ lobby to the starboard sideway—along with one manual weathertight door to the control room. For further versatility, up to two main deck saloon bulwark balconies with a sliding saloon crystal door can be specified.

Within the raised pilot house, a forward windscreen in sandwich tempered glass with XIR filter films delivers clarity and thermal comfort, supported by four electric windscreen wipers for assured visibility.

At the bow cockpit, front storage includes dedicated stowage for fenders with a handrail to secure them. The mooring area features an aluminum hatch with teak‑covered steps, a cold and hot water shower, two windlasses, anchors, and two cleats. Teak flooring with perimeter courtesy lights sets a welcoming tone for two sofas with integrated foldable backrests for dual use as seating or sunbathing cushions, each with large‑capacity storages, a fire extinguishing system, cushions, and decorative pillows. Additional seating comes via one central sofa with cushions, complemented by two lateral coffee tables, stainless steel handrails, and one large sunpad with cushions. An optional forward ceiling window can be added for the owner area, bathing the space in natural light.

Electrical equipment

The yacht’s electrical architecture is meticulously engineered for security and performance, beginning with a 24 V DC system with a grounded negative that serves the emergency bilge systems, the centralized bilge system integrated with the seawater fire extinguishing system, the steering systems, navigation lights, the monitoring system, navigation systems, emergency systems, internal and external lights, engine room lights, and other small utilities. Complementing this is a 400 V AC three-phase and 230 V AC single-phase, 50 Hz supply dedicated to the centralized bilge system integrated with the seawater fire extinguishing system, air conditioning systems, galley appliances, engine room ventilation and mooring winches, battery chargers, electrical outlets, entertainment systems, and other small utilities.

Main electrical control panels are thoughtfully positioned in the control room, in the pilot house, in the lower deck galley, in the main deck saloon, and next to the lower deck stairs to the guests’ cabins, while secondary electrical panels are installed throughout all areas of the yacht. Wiring is routed within metal or self‑extinguishing closed PVC conduits and specified exclusively with non‑flammable materials, with cross sections properly sized for each application.

Ground equipment (EU-USA) includes a comprehensive grounding network for all water intakes, aluminum structures, and steel components, as well as for all AC equipment, together with lightning protection. The ground system is connected to the stem and under‑hull zincs and to porous copper plates under the hull.

Shore power is provided by one 400 V AC, 125 A shore inlet placed on the stem stairs, with the AC shore inlet connected to the main electrical panel in the engine room. Each shoreline is equipped with a multi‑meter to monitor Volt, Amp, Watt, and Hertz, and all power sources are safeguarded by magneto/thermal breakers.

For independent generation, there are two 45 kW Kohler generators rated at 400 V AC, 50 Hz, with 12 V DC starters, each enclosed in a sound shield box with an electronic control panel and located on opposite sides of the engine room, showing 2072/2072 hours. Their AC output is connected to the main electrical panel in the engine room, power sources are protected by magneto/thermal switches, and the generators include a multi‑meter to control all electrical parameters (Volt, Amp, Watt, Hertz).

For 400 V / 230 V AC distribution, a double bus (A, B) delivers current to all appliances, each protected by magneto/thermal breakers. Battery charging is equally robust, with two 24 V 80 Amp battery chargers for service batteries, two 24 V 30 Amp battery chargers for engine batteries, one 12 V 35 Amp battery charger for the generators, one 24 V 30 Amp battery charger for emergency systems batteries, one 24 V 30 Amp battery charger for the radio communication system, and one 24 V 80 Amp backup battery charger. Alternator support includes a 24 V 140 Amp port‑side engine alternator connected to the engine batteries, a 24 V 140 Amp starboard‑side engine alternator connected to the engine batteries, and a generator alternator connected to the generator batteries.

Light system

Illumination across the yacht is meticulously engineered to balance performance, safety, and refined ambiance. In the engine room, 24V DC spot power LED lighting is installed on the ceiling, with circuits connected to both the service batteries and the emergency batteries to ensure dependable visibility at all times.

In the master, VIP, and guest cabins, ceiling-mounted LED spotlights create a warm, even glow, complemented by courtesy strip LEDs that trace the perimeter around the bed and glide discreetly beneath the furniture; intuitive controls are positioned by the entrance door and conveniently beside the bed. The raised pilothouse features ceiling LED spotlights and dedicated red power LED spotlights integrated into the dashboard overhead for night navigation, with lighting control located close to the entrance. In the saloon, LED spotlights in the ceiling pair with dimmers to tailor brightness to mood and occasion, while controls sit by the entrance door. The galley is equipped with ceiling LED spotlights and an additional LED courtesy light for clear, task-ready illumination. Captain and crew quarters benefit from ceiling LED spotlights, a courtesy LED beneath the bed, and controls thoughtfully placed by the entrance door. In the bathrooms, ceiling LED spotlights are enhanced by courtesy LED spotlights around the furniture, with both lighting and shower ventilation controlled close to the entrance door.

Outdoors, power LED spotlights and power LED strips enrich the aft cockpit ceiling, while additional power LED spotlights illuminate the overheads along the side walkways. Courtesy LED spotlights accent the perimeter of the external deck and the flybridge floor, highlight the upper side of the fashion plates, and refine the T-Top ceiling. Lighting can be managed at the entrance door as well as through the monitoring system, and four Megayachts underwater lights on the yacht’s transom are available as an optional installation.

Electronics

The yacht’s electronic suite is conceived for absolute command and confidence at sea, beginning beneath the waterline with one Raymarine DST800 depth and temperature transducer set into the hull. At the heart of the wheelhouse, three 15-inch touchscreen displays orchestrate operations—two dedicated to navigation parameters and one to boat monitoring—with an optional upgrade to three 19-inch touch-control displays maintaining the same division of duties. Engine data is presented with precision on two MTU/MAN displays, encompassing voltmeter, engine oil temperature, water temperature, engine revolutions, and gearbox oil temperature among others, and is complemented by one Raymarine 170 display, one Raymarine P70r autopilot control, one Raymarine keyboard, and one Furuno DSC VHF. Fine-tuned control is assured with flaps indicators, a magnetic compass, and fire and gas detection control units.

On the flybridge, command is mirrored with two MTU/MAN engine-monitoring displays and two Raymarine GS125 twelve-inch displays, with the option to elevate visibility to two Raymarine GS165 fifteen-point-four-inch displays. One Raymarine 170 display, one Raymarine P70r autopilot control, one Raymarine keyboard, and one Furuno VHF DSC stand alongside a flaps indicator and a magnetic compass to complete the upper-helm package.

The radar mast carries one Raymarine wind transducer and two GPS antennas, while one Raymarine open-array four kW digital radar antenna delivers crisp, long-range situational awareness.

A comprehensive monitoring system unifies critical information on the wheelhouse dashboard with three 15-inch touchscreen displays—two for navigation and one for boat monitoring, as anticipated in paragraph nine “Wheelhouse”—and expands control with external and engine room temperature indicators; alarms and manual controls for the bilge system; fresh, grey, and black water level indicators and alarms with discharge control systems; fuel level indicators and alarms with engines consumption indication, water in Racor filters indicator (option), and fuel valve ON/OFF indicator; service battery indicators showing Volt, Amp IN/OUT, and Charge level; engine batteries switch control with voltage indicator; generator batteries switch control with voltage indicator, Start/Stop control, fuel valve ON/OFF indicator, and water in Racor filter indicator (option); engine room ventilation alarms and control; a 400/230V AC source selection page with Volt, Amp, Watt, and frequency; 400/230V AC main breaker status indicators; a 400/230V AC overload and load shedding system; navigation lights status (ON/OFF) with alarm indicators; and both acoustic and optical alarm activation for the flybridge dashboard.

At the flybridge itself, the indicators include an acoustic remote alarm and an optical remote alarm, with the option of one twelve-inch touchscreen display dedicated to the monitoring system’s main functions.

For fail-safe redundancy, emergency operation panels are fitted where they are needed most. In the engine room, there is a bilge pump alarm indicator with manual switch, together with black and grey water tanks discharge pumps control and alarm indicators. In the pilothouse, VHF power supply selection ensures uninterrupted communications when it matters.
