Detailed Description
Overview
Step into the salon, where a U-shaped settee with generous storage beneath invites easy conversation around a versatile hi-low table that transforms seamlessly from dining to cocktail height and even converts into a bunk. A custom end table integrates the entertainment system, while a pop-up forty-five-inch LG TV can be enjoyed in either the raised or lowered position. Thoughtful details abound, including four storage lockers, an icemaker, and ample additional storage, complemented by four wall sconces, a large aft door opening to the Cal deck dining area, and expansive low windows that deliver outstanding visibility. A substantial granite countertop graces the starboard side, with pull/push blinds and halogen lighting on dimmers setting the mood, and a surround sound stereo enriches music and TV alike. Comfort is assured with reverse-cycle heat and air.
The galley, an L-shaped showpiece adjacent to the salon, echoes the salon’s granite surfaces and showcases superb sightlines. Professional-grade appointments include a Sub-Zero refrigerator, Sub-Zero freezer drawers, a four-burner glass cooktop, a GE oven, a trash compactor, and a double-basin stainless-steel sink with garbage disposal, joined by a GE microwave and a Bosch dishwasher. An overhead dish cabinet and overhead halogen lighting with dimmers enhance both utility and ambiance.
In the pilothouse, two Stidd helm seats with upgraded bases face a commanding helm, while an L-settee with storage pairs with a high-gloss teak table for relaxed passage-making. A starboard cabinet topped with salon-matching granite houses a stainless-steel wine cooler, and a custom cushion-topped dash area softens the space. Port and starboard swing-out access doors lead to the walk-around decks, and true three-hundred-sixty-degree visibility is further brightened by two overhead hatches fitted with Ocean Air screens. An integrated chart drawer keeps navigation tidy, and reverse-cycle heat and air ensure year-round comfort, all supported by extensive electronics.
The master cabin is a private sanctuary with a centerline king bunk, four opening ports, and a built-in seat with storage, surrounded by granite counters throughout. Two custom reading lights, overhead lighting on dimmers, and a custom art shelf with integrated illumination set a refined tone, while his-and-her hanging lockers, a TV mounted on a fold-out cabinet for easy access to electronics, a built-in safe, and reverse-cycle heat and air round out the comforts. The VIP cabin features a centerline queen bunk with storage, two hanging lockers, private access to the forward head, two bell reading lights, a large overhead hatch, opening ports, ample storage, reverse-cycle heat and air, and a TV with DVD player. The bunk cabin provides over/under twin bunks, a custom desk and office setup, and a clever upper bunk that folds to create a settee, together with a hanging locker, opening ports, a large storage area below the deck, reverse-cycle heat and air, and a TV. The crew cabin mirrors this versatility with over/under twin bunks, an en suite head with stall shower, a locker, ample storage, direct access to the crew galley, reverse-cycle heat and air, and a TV.
Above, the flybridge and boat deck deliver two custom Stidd helm seats with upgraded bases, teak backs, and footrests, full instrumentation, and a custom fold-down TV, all protected by a beautiful enclosure. Entertain at two teak tables beside a large L-settee with storage below, and make the most of a refrigerator, a sink with an FRP cover, and abundant storage. New tender chocks installed in 2017 support a Novurania tender powered by a 60 hp Yamaha, while a custom mesh enclosure wraps the boat deck for added security and comfort.
Electronics and navigation are comprehensive and redundant: Furuno NavNet 3D control heads are installed—two in the pilothouse and two on the flybridge—supported by a Furuno GPS, both a Furuno twenty-five-kilowatt ninety-six-mile radar and a Furuno twelve-kilowatt seventy-two-mile radar, a Furuno chart plotter, Furuno AIS FA 150, Furuno Sonar CH 250, and a Furuno depth sounder. Furuno RD 33 displays are positioned with two in the pilothouse, two on the flybridge, and one in the master stateroom, while Furuno Fax 30 adds weather data. Autopilot redundancy includes Simrad Auto Pilot 28 serving both pilothouse and flybridge, alongside Simrad Auto Pilot 20 for pilothouse and flybridge with remote handheld control. A Cooler Master navigation computer drives Nauticomp nineteen-inch monitors—three in the pilothouse—and Nauticomp twelve-inch monitors—two on the flybridge. A FLIR M625L infrared camera system, with controls in both pilothouse and flybridge, enhances safety and situational awareness.
Communications are equally robust with a KVH TracPhone V7 satellite phone and an Iridium handheld satellite phone, an Icom M604 VHF, and two Icom M604 loud hailers. High-speed connectivity comes via a Wave WiFi router, access point, and antenna, paired with a cellular modem and antenna signal booster for reliable internet access. A Panasonic KX-TA624 intercom system with seven handsets keeps the entire yacht connected.
Security is anchored by Global Ocean Security Technology: a GOST core system, GOST Watch camera monitoring with IVR, and a GOST Tracker, delivering layered oversight whether underway or at anchor.
The entertainment system is thoughtfully integrated, with KVH TracVision distributed via Eureka plus Neo Integrator to six TVs and to Nauticomp monitors. Enjoy surround sound in the salon and speakers throughout the salon, pilothouse, aft deck with woofer, flybridge with woofer, master, VIP, and bunk room. Premium components include a Marantz NR1604 A/V receiver, Sonos streaming, an RTI remote control processor, a Sirius SR-H2000 satellite radio receiver, and DirecTV receivers in the salon, master, VIP, bunk, and crew cabin. LED or plasma TVs are installed in the salon, master, VIP, bunk, flybridge, and crew areas, all driven by Parasound amplifiers and pre-amplifiers in the salon, master, VIP, bunk, and crew spaces, plus an LG Blu-ray player.
Refinements and upgrades elevate every touchpoint: a fully enclosed flybridge and an extensive canvas covering suite protects rails, cushions, windows, doors, windshield, and lounge pad. The pilothouse dashboard is finished in leather, matched by leather L-shape seating, with Stidd chairs in both pilothouse and flybridge. New carpeting flows throughout, complemented by refreshed upholstery in the salon, refinished interior teak and cherry walls with added forward wood paneling, and rich mahogany flooring in the pilothouse and galley. Practical enhancements include a Bosch dishwasher.
The boat deck is purpose-built and beautifully equipped with a 2017 Novurania DL43 powered by a 60 hp Yamaha four-cycle outboard, a West Marine storage box, and new Gaggenau grills. Night operations are supported by LED flood lights positioned to port, starboard, forward, and on the aft deck, with replaced teak decks underfoot. Anglers will appreciate custom dual bait tanks with AC and DC pumps with alarms, a custom teak tabletop serving the bait tanks, sixteen-foot outriggers, custom flopper stoppers, and eight stainless-steel rocket launchers. Lumishore underwater lights, dedicated light controls, and two additional LED flood lights complete the package.
Below, the engine room and crew area form a highly functional hub with a large crew/work area and a crew galley featuring ample storage, a microwave, a stainless-steel sink, a refrigerator, and a dedicated tool area. There is direct access to the cockpit and Cal deck, along with additional Sub-Zero freezer drawers for extended provisioning. Power and reliability come from twin twenty-five-kilowatt Northern Lights generators showing 2,958 and 5,477 hours, oil tanks for clean and dirty oil below the engine room deck, and twin C-18 1,000 hp engines working in concert with Wesmar digital stabilizers.
Other notable upgrades underscore the yacht’s bluewater readiness, including Wesmar digital stabilizers, a Switlik MD-2 six-person life raft, a Magnasine MS 4024 inverter/charger with Magnum Energy inverter remote control, a Xantrex SW 4024 MC2 inverter/charger with Trace inverter remote control, and dual watermakers—Horizon 1800 GPD and Horizon 1400 GPD. An air compressor in the engine room, a custom fold-down TV on the flybridge, a folding lounge on the bow, a mesh enclosure around the boat deck, stainless-steel bow rail fender holders, custom port and starboard flopper stoppers, and additional soft sound covers for both generators further enhance capability, comfort, and quiet operation.
