A true classic with a nautical navy hull, this American-built 100-foot (30.5 m) cruising yacht was conceived in a refined, luxury houseboat style that delivers generous, elegant accommodations and living spaces far beyond the typical motor yacht. Built by the US shipyard Palmer Johnson in 1999, FORTUNA was drawn by famed superyacht designer C. Raymond Hunt. Fine craftsmanship is evident at every turn, and she has been beautifully maintained since delivery, with thoughtful refits and upgrades throughout her life. Most recently re-fit in 2014, she benefited from interior upgrades totaling well over seven figures, all under the care of a professional, highly experienced captain.

A Glendinning CM-8 Cablemaster manages two 100 amp shore power cables, supported by four Fail-Safe Max GI-100A-FSM galvanic isolators. Two Atlas SBII-50 SmartBox II units provide conversion, each transforming two 50 amp single-phase inputs into a single 100 amp single-phase output.

Mechanically, FORTUNA is driven by two Detroit Diesel/MTU R1227R02 main engines showing 5,787 hours, mated to Detroit Diesel transmissions DD-6557A and enhanced by a Sturdy 370-00681 troll module and six DDC EDM electronic display modules. Electrical generation is provided by Northern Lights M668Q-40KW 1200 rpm 60 Hz generators with two power take-offs, while NAIAD Marine Dynamics systems deliver an upgraded hydraulic stabilizer (from the original 302 model) with integrated hydraulics, generator power take-offs and reservoir. A NAIAD Marine Dynamics hydraulic 12HT bow thruster shares the integrated hydraulic architecture, reservoir, and generator power take-offs, and is plumbed with dual windlass and a combined fire/bilge pump. Steering is via the NB2-1260-35-EB1 Wagner system, imparting precise, confident control.

For play and exploration, the yacht carries a tandem sit-on-top kayak, two Jimmy Styks stand-up paddleboards, and a Bauer Utilus U10-E1 dive compressor with 6 scuba tanks, ensuring the water is your private playground wherever you anchor.
