Overview
DOUBLE OR NOTHING is an impeccably kept Pershing 82 VHP performance motor yacht, driven by MTU 2638 hp powerplants that push her to a breathtaking top speed of 50 knots.
In 2024/25, flybridge lounge cushions and most exterior covers were renewed, interior soles refinished, and she was hauled for antifouling with all zincs replaced; the TopSystem drives were serviced and repainted. Engines were serviced in January 2024, with only a few hours since. A custom 8X bar was fitted in the salon in 2021.
She sports a bespoke paint scheme, with the hull finished in shimmering pearl white and the superstructure in a striking charcoal grey. In 2025, the hull sides were polished and sealed with touch-up paint applied as needed, and the superstructure was likewise spot-polished and sealed in 2025.
Importantly, the yacht lived in fresh water from 2020–2022 and saw only very light use until acquired by the current owner just over two years ago. She carries exceptionally low original engine hours.
A full-time captain remains aboard, supervising monthly maintenance and wrapping up a few proactive projects to ensure this high-performance sport yacht is presented in excellent, turnkey condition for her next owner.
Detailed Description
Broker comments & walkthrough
Approaching the yacht, the eye is immediately drawn to her custom paintwork: a pearl white hull and superstructure that gleam in the light, accented by a metallic charcoal hardtop and flybridge that sharpen the profile to a sophisticated edge.
Board via the port-side passerelle to a broad swim platform fitted with a telescoping boarding ladder and a centerline garage that houses the Williams tender, with additional stowage for water sports toys or supplies. The aft deck offers excellent headroom and a centerline table perfect for dining or cocktails, with both aft- and forward-facing seating. All the way aft, massive sunpads invite relaxed lounging—imagine settling in as she surges to 40 knots. The aft window drops completely and the doors tuck away to unite exterior and interior into a single flowing social space, a superb feature for entertaining that the photos illustrate beautifully. A grill, sink, refrigerator, and ice maker complete this open-air haven.
Walkaround decks to port and starboard lead to the bow, where an equally impressive sunpad is paired with a U-shaped settee and a high-low table that converts into another expansive sunpad, or, raised, creates what many consider the best spot aboard for sundowners on a cocktail cruise. From the aft deck, ascend to the upper flybridge and discover a second helm station, three chairs including a centerline helm chair, and a lounge area that comfortably welcomes up to three adults. It is a thrilling perch—kept completely private when desired—or, in performance mode, the best seat in the house underway. Safety railings line both side decks and the flybridge, and doors leading down to the aft deck can be closed to add peace of mind while cruising.
Step inside the main salon and your attention settles on a custom-installed centerline bar styled like the one on the 8X models. Neutral earth tones flow through the salon and guest spaces for a relaxed, zen-like ambiance, with soft throw blankets and carpeting accenting leather sofas and white-washed oak floors. With the aft doors and windows lowered and the skylight open, the space becomes delightfully alfresco, with excellent air circulation at higher speeds. Forward of the bar sit three helm chairs, the helm station, and starboard access to the guest accommodations, while side doors to port and starboard provide direct exterior access—ideal for the captain when docking and for guests slipping forward to the bow. Opposite the salon’s U-shaped settee, a pop-up TV and the entertainment system face a private staircase leading to the galley and crew area. The galley is surprisingly spacious, and there are two separate crew accommodations sharing a bathroom: one cabin comfortably sleeps two crew members, and the second sleeps one, alongside a full-size washer and dryer. Direct access to the engine room lies all the way aft, opposite the crew bathroom. Entry is through a watertight door, and centerline aft between the main engines sits the A/Sea shore power converter, which gives DOUBLE OR NOTHING the ability to plug into shore power anywhere in the world, ensuring seamless operation while cruising the US, Caribbean, Mediterranean, and beyond.
Proceeding forward from the main salon and helm brings you to the lower lounge—effectively a cinema room—anchored by a large wall-mounted TV. Aft from here, the full-beam master features an offset king that optimizes the footprint, excellent headroom, a full ensuite, and both drawer and hanging lockers. Large windows to port and starboard flood the space with natural light. All the way forward, the VIP echoes the same generous headroom, with a private ensuite and light pouring in from port and starboard windows and a skylight. Opposite the cinema room, the third cabin sleeps three guests in two twin beds and a Pullman that folds away when not in use—an ideal children’s retreat with the TV room just outside. The bathroom serving this third cabin also functions as the dayhead; dual access from the companionway and directly from the cabin allows guests to remain private at night without entering the hallway.
DOUBLE OR NOTHING represents a very well-maintained Pershing 82 VHP, powered by MTU 16V 2000 M96 engines for a top speed of 50 knots. In 2024/25, the flybridge lounge cushions and most exterior covers were replaced; interior floors were refinished; she was hauled for new anti-fouling, all zincs were replaced, and the Top System drives were serviced and repainted. The engines were serviced in January 2024 and have only a few hours of use since. The custom 8X bar in the main salon was installed in 2021 alongside other interior décor enhancements. She features a custom paint job with the hull finished in generous pearl white and the superstructure in contrasting charcoal gray; in 2025, the hull sides were polished and sealed with touch-up paint where needed, and the superstructure was spot polished and sealed as well. Notably, the yacht lived in fresh water from 2020–2022 before being purchased by the current owner just over two years ago. She has very low original engine hours and has been privately used since delivery. A full-time captain oversees monthly maintenance and is completing select projects to ensure she remains in excellent condition for her next owner.
2026 shipyard period
During the 2026 shipyard period, the yacht benefited from a comprehensive program of mechanical servicing and cosmetic refinement. The HVAC system received a full service, with all engine-room compressors attended to, outlet and intake hoses replaced, and the circulation system improved for enhanced efficiency. On deck, every inch of exterior caulking on the main deck was removed and renewed, while the teak decks were meticulously treated with a two-part cleaning from bow to stern. The upper helm plexiglass windscreen was replaced with a new unit, and the bow table was carefully refinished to a rich luster. Below, the engine room was thoroughly detailed with fresh paintwork; the bilges were pressure-washed; and all surfaces, including the diamond-plated flooring, were fully cleaned. The jack shaft and engine-room metal were cleaned and painted, and the thru-hulls were addressed with the replacement of all major ball valves in the engine room. Water outlets on the port and starboard sides were removed and replaced with units matching the intake size. For added protection and polish topside, the window covers were replaced and two additional covers were added, bringing the total to eight surrounding the wheelhouse and main salon. Indoors, the interior carpets and upholstery were professionally cleaned and shampooed, and the interior blinds were upgraded with new guide wires and anchors throughout.
Factory options
Thoughtfully specified to elevate style, comfort, and performance, this yacht showcases the Ambiance mobile package and striking White Metallic paint for the hull and superstructure, complemented by carbon fiber air intakes on the hull sides. The main deck enjoys salon furniture modifications, a refined upper salon table with wood and leather top, a main deck salon rug, carpet in the cabins, handles upholstered with leather, bed covers, and a bar predisposition in the saloon. The three-cabin layout with a dinette on the lower deck features a different lower dinette fitting, a sliding bathroom door, electric blackout curtains in all cabins (crew area excluded), electric roll-in fabric curtains in the guest cabins and in the VIP cabin, a folding bed in the guest cabin, mosaics in the VIP cabin head and in the port-side guest cabin head, and practical touches such as a soap dish and shampoo holder in all showers. The master suite receives a mirror finish in lieu of wallpaper, a one-piece mirror inside the wardrobe door, a cupboard in place of the bidet in the master bathroom, and an additional boiler of 15 liters for the master cabin with bypass. The galley is refined with a top differing from the starboard, while a separate washer and dryer unit and dedicated drainage add household ease.
Entertainment and navigation are equally advanced, with a TV of fifty-five inches, US version, a TV supplied without a frame, an A/V installation in the media room, USA version, a satellite antenna KVH HD7 including decoder for the upper salon, and a Decoder Sat HD USA, all paired to the Navigation pack Furuno TZT, USA version. Courtesy lights on the sun deck and upper deck, external LED lights, underwater lights under the bathing platform, and an aft camera plus an additional aft camera enhance visibility and ambience throughout.
On deck and underway, convenience and capability abound: a fresh water tap in the anchors locker, a manually adjustable painted table in the forward external dinette, electrical movement of the sun deck sunpad backrest, a gate on the steel railing, a cover for the windshield and side windows in black mesh, and a canvas package. Mooring is simplified with stainless steel retractable mooring cleats on the bathing platform sides and a pair of fixed side mooring cleats. The garage is thoughtfully prepared with non‑slip painting for the garage floor and preparation for housing a jet ski/tender. Practical accessories include a nautic maps holder. Power and handling are assured by MTU engines, two by 2,638 hp, plus Top System, aided by a hydraulic stern thruster rated at 28 hp. Electrical and utility upgrades include batteries with low water loss, two generator battery chargers, Glendenning with Glendenning remote control with switch (not in the E/R), and exportation cost accounted for.
Additional refinements ensure daily pleasure and safety at sea: a galley top differentiated from the starboard side, a TV installation executed without a frame for a clean aesthetic, and comprehensive safety equipment for sixteen people, comprising two life rafts for eight people each and sixteen life jackets. Each detail—from the nautic maps holder to the glass holder in the main helm—has been curated to enhance life aboard, ensuring a yacht that is as effortless to operate as it is exquisite to experience.
Main salon
Step through the hideaway sliding aft door into an open salon layout anchored by a horse shoe couch and an L-shaped Poltron sofa, complemented by a Poltrona Frau oversized light grey Pershing sofa with offsetting grey cashmere pillows and throws. A sliding sofa with double seats in Poltrona Frau leather joins ottomans in Poltrona Frau leather and an ottoman that converts to an ottoman table, while the dining table for 6 people is attended by four Poltrona Frau folding chairs in aluminum and leather and four chairs upholstered in Poltrona Frau leather. A wardrobe covered in wood, with clothes rack, dresser and internal light, stands alongside two wood nightstands covered with Poltrona Frau leather, and a safe and fridge add welcome practicality. Side windows in monolithic/stratified tempered glass bathe the space in natural light, then transition to privacy with electric fabric roll interior curtains and electric fabric rolls curtains for side windows and the sliding aft door. Walls are covered in wood and upholstered in Poltrona Frau leather beneath a ceiling also dressed in Poltrona Frau leather, highlighted by ceiling LED lights with indirect lighting and two reading lights, all governed by a dimmer, soft touch switch plats, and soft touch switch plates. Underfoot, a layered flooring concept combines a parquet floor and a wooden floor with an engineered nonslip wood floor in light grey to contrast, plus a structural GRP floor covered in moquette, elevated by upgraded leather and rug accents including a rug under the sofa.
Entertainment is immersive thanks to an audio video system driven by a surround sound Denon receiver with 5+1 speakers and a HiFi surround 5+1 system (60 Hz) with a Sint amplifier and BluRay, all orchestrated via a touch screen remote control and a domotics control panel. Safety equipment includes a manual powder extinguisher in the engine room, in the cockpit, and one for each room, with smoke detectors in the salon, galley, cabins, and crew cabin.
Electrical architecture is engineered for reliability and American compatibility, featuring battery cutoffs; a battery charger for engines and generators (from service batteries); and a breaker box for American shore power. An earthing system runs the length of the hull and is joined to anode protection (zincs) on the transom. Emergency parallel connection between service batteries and the engine starter adds redundancy, while four engine starter batteries, two generator battery chargers, and two power generator starter batteries deliver robust cranking capacity. Equipment power modification to 60 Hz is completed, and protection extends to ground connections for sea water intakes and railings, along with ground fault interrupters 120V 6mA in all heads, the galley, and the engine room. An inverter 60 Hz/120V serves the galley fridge only, and an isolation transformer of 25 KVA enhances shore power safety. Control and monitoring are intuitive via two main electric LCD digital panels for engine control, a parallel connection between generator batteries, and a switchboard in the dinette with voltage measuring instruments 120/240V. Hotel loads are supported by twelve service batteries with a dedicated service battery charger, and connectivity includes a shore power socket 100A 60 Hz, a shore socket with loose cable, and American-type 120V sockets, double in each box.
Fuel management is precise, with an electronic fuel level remote indicator at the dashboard, two fuel decanter filters, a fuel sight gauge, and a manual fuel discharge/load drainage pump feeding a structural GRP tank.
Bilge safety is comprehensive, employing an automatic/manual immersion e/pump for bilge discharge in each watertight compartment with level sensor, an e/pump with a valve system for separated or joint bilge operation with centralized suction, and an emergency engine room bilge system discharge via engine intake suction.
