Overview
ALEXANDRA is a Pershing 8X presenting a rare chance to acquire the most competitively priced 8X in North America. A Motor Boats Awards 2021 winner and freshly out of an extensive yard period finalized in September 2025—encompassing a complete topsides repaint and all major services—she shows in pristine, ready-to-go condition. With U.S. duty settled, MTU warranty protection through November 2027, and sharp pricing, she stands among the newest and most sought-after performance motor yachts in her class, with few comparable sport yachts presently offered for sale.
Detailed Description
Machinery
Power comes from twin MTU 16V2000M96L engines delivering 2,638 hp (1,939 kW), with warranty until November 2027. Engine hours are port 922 hours and starboard 920 hours. The surface drive propulsion works through ZF 3070 reduction gear with reverse clutches, turning six-blade bronze propellers measuring 44.75" x 65". Precision control is assured by a hydraulic steering system, complemented by 24" x 40" trim tabs, each with hydraulic actuators, and bow and stern thrusters featuring dual four-blade propellers in 12" tunnels. Comfort underway and at anchor is enhanced by two Seakeeper 9 gyro stabilizers.
Generator & auxiliary systems
Power management is entrusted to two Cummins 21.5 kW diesel generators, model 21.5MDKDR-8112A, with current hours recorded as Port 2505.8 and Starboard 2508.1. The yacht’s electrical backbone operates at 120/240VAC, seamlessly supported at the dock by a 100 Amp Glendinning shore power reel, while dependable Mastervolt electronic battery chargers ensure efficient and reliable battery maintenance underway and at anchor.
Ancillary equipment
Engineered for total comfort and control, the yacht is equipped with two Seakeeper NG9 gyrostabilizers that deliver remarkable roll reduction at anchor and underway. Climate management is ensured by two Super Tropic air-conditioning plants, built to tropical specifications for powerful, resilient cooling. A transformer provides seamless three-phase to single-phase conversion, expanding shore-power compatibility wherever you berth. An onboard air compressor supports ship’s services, while hydraulic bow and stern thrusters grant confident, precise maneuvering in tight quarters. After dark, underwater lights transform the waterline into a luminous stage, elevating every arrival and anchorage.
Safety & security equipment
For complete peace of mind at sea, the yacht is outfitted with comprehensive lifesaving provisions, including sixteen USCG Type I PFDs and one Type IV USCG throwable device, together with two Eurovinil eight-person liferafts valid until August 2027. An ACR EPIRB carries a battery expiration of October 2031, while visual distress signals—both handheld and twelve-gauge—are carried with expiry in August 2026. Night or foul-weather navigation is further supported by a powerful searchlight and a dependable horn.
Fire protection is equally robust, featuring a fixed HFC-227 system in the engine room, complemented by six ABC dry powder fire extinguishers and a centralized smoke detector system that annunciates alarms via the monitoring system. For added vigilance, a security camera system monitors the mast and engine room.
Communication
SAT com is provided by Starlink, delivering dependable, wide‑reaching coverage for offshore passages. Onboard internet integrates a PEPWAVE Wi‑Fi system and Starlink, combining robust redundancy with high‑speed connectivity for seamless browsing, streaming, and remote operations. For close‑quarters and coastal contact, the VHF system is a Simrad VHF radio, ensuring clear, reliable ship‑to‑ship and ship‑to‑shore communication.
Navigation
At the upper helm, two Simrad flat‑screen multifunction displays place every critical parameter at your fingertips, while the lower helm elevates visibility with two 24‑inch Simrad flat‑screen multifunction displays for expansive situational awareness. A fully integrated Simrad suite—radar, GPS, chart plotter, autopilot, echosounder, AIS, and wind instruments—works in concert to deliver confident passage making, complemented by a White Star magnetic steering compass for traditional, fail‑safe reference. For close-quarters handling, the Easy Dock Zenta joystick controller system for surface drives provides precise, intuitive docking control.
Deck equipment
At the bow, a galvanized steel claw anchor on a galvanized chain is managed with confidence by a Lofrans Team 12V DC electric windlass. Boarding versatility is assured with a telescopic hideaway passerelle, a Marquipt side-boarding ladder, and side boarding gates, while a hydraulic hideaway swim ladder at the stern makes water access effortless. Entertaining on deck is complemented by a convenient barbecue grill.
The sun deck, accessed from the aft deck, is arranged around a helm station with a captain’s chair and two companion seats, complemented by a built-in aft-facing settee and a large sun lounger. Shade is provided by a sun awning supported by carbon fiber poles, creating a refined retreat underway or at anchor.
Forward, the bow/foredeck invites relaxation with a forward-facing U-shaped settee and table, paired with a large sunpad for lingering in the breeze.
Aft, the deck is designed for alfresco dining and lounging, featuring built-in banquette seating on either side of the teak dining table and an oversized sun pad. The area is partially shaded by the overhead hardtop, with port and starboard staircases leading down to the swim platform and sliding glass doors opening to the main salon.
At the water’s edge, a full-beam teak hydraulic swim platform provides seamless access to the tender garage and is complemented by a deck shower with hot and cold water.
Audio & visual equipment
Equipped with a KVH HD7 Sat TV system, the yacht delivers seamless entertainment throughout. In the Main Salon, a 49-inch LED TV rises on a lift and pairs with an audio‑video system featuring Apple TV and Blu‑ray, complemented by hi‑fi surround sound. The Lower Salon continues the experience with an LED TV with Apple TV and Blu‑ray. In the Master Cabin, a 55-inch LED TV with Apple TV and Blu‑ray anchors private viewing, while the VIP, Guest Twin, and Crew Mess each offer a 28-inch LED TV. A Fusion marine sound system enriches audio throughout the entire vessel.
Galley & domestic equipment
The main galley is appointed with a Miele four-burner glass stovetop, a Miele microwave, and a Miele dishwasher, all complemented by a GE stainless-steel side-by-side refrigerator/freezer and a Foster stainless-steel sink. A dedicated wine cellar keeps vintages impeccably stored, while Miele laundry facilities provide practical convenience for extended passages. In the crew area, a well-placed table and a television create a comfortable space for off-duty relaxation.
Tender
Onboard, a Williams SportJet 345 tender stands ready for effortless ship-to-shore transfers, nimble harbor maneuvering, and spirited watersports, delivering compact convenience and lively performance that perfectly complements every cruising itinerary.
Accommodation
Alexandra welcomes up to six guests in three beautifully appointed cabins, cared for by a professional crew of three. On the main deck, the flow of life unfolds around the main salon, bar, and helm, where an expansive salon framed by large glass windows to port and starboard sets a luminous scene. A contemporary open-concept layout creates a seamless indoor–outdoor connection via a glass sliding door to the aft deck, while a retractable glass window positioned above the door allows the entire area to open into one generous, sociable entertainment space. A large leather L-shaped sofa anchors the lounge, complemented by a convertible coffee-to-dining table with adjustable height and a portside console with a pop-up TV. The bar area, set just behind the helm station, features three leather stools for convivial gatherings, and the helm itself is equipped with three leather pilot chairs. Premium finishes elevate every surface, from dark high-gloss cabinetry and stainless accents to light oak flooring, with electric fabric curtains providing effortless privacy. Amenities include a fridge, icemaker, and wine cooler to keep refreshments perfectly chilled.
On the lower deck, the ambiance shifts to a cocoon of comfort and cinema-style relaxation, where the lower salon doubles as a media room with an L-shaped leather sofa, a coffee table and side table, and a large flatscreen TV with an AV system. This level also houses the galley and all guest accommodations. The full-beam owner’s cabin is a serene retreat, bathed in natural light from large hull windows on either side and centered on a king-size berth with overhead LED lighting. Thoughtful appointments include bedside tables, a grey leather chaise lounge, and a built-in desk/vanity, while entertainment and convenience are assured with a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, electric blackout blinds, wardrobes, a digital safe, and a fridge. The ensuite bath is finished with a glass shower enclosure, a vessel sink, and a mirrored vanity.
The VIP cabin offers a centerline double bed with storage, a mirrored bulkhead, bedside shelving, wall-mounted reading lamps, and a hull window/porthole on either side, along with a wardrobe, overhead LED lighting, a television, and a private ensuite. The twin guest cabin features two single berths convertible to a double, a mirror behind the beds, a centrally placed nightstand, wall-mounted reading lamps, a large window with electrical blinds, a wardrobe, overhead LED lighting, a television, and a private ensuite.
