Overview

Distinctive by design, the all-new Prestige X70 reimagines the luxury motor yacht and flybridge yacht experience with a dramatic superyacht attitude and Volvo Penta IPS1350 propulsion for smooth, confident, performance cruising.

Detailed Description

Manufacturer provided description:

Created in the spirit of a superyacht, the X70 dissolves the boundaries between exterior and interior, unlocking the yacht’s full-beam potential to reinvent life on board. Orchestrated around generous volume, seamless circulation and abundant light, this all-new luxury crossover concept invites you to inhabit every inch of space for an experience that is as effortless as it is extraordinary. Life aboard the X70 blends the comforts of a refined seaside villa with the pure pleasures of cruising, offering a radically fresh way to enjoy the sea, day after day.

Specifications:

With imposing yet balanced proportions, the X70 delivers decisive performance and extraordinary habitability. Length overall is 21.83 m (71'7"), with a hull beam of 5.34 m (17'6"), a draft of 1.7 m (5'7") and a maximum air draft of 8.96 m (29'5"). Light displacement is 33,400 kg (73,634 lbs), increasing to 44,640 kg (98,414 lbs) at full load. Accommodation plans offer berths for 6 or 8 plus 2, with 3 or 4 cabins plus 1. The architecture is by Garroni Design, with concept and design by Valentina MILITERNO DE ROMEDIS. Capacities are generous, with fuel at 4,000 l (1,057 US gal), freshwater at 760 l (201 US gal), hot water at 120 l (32 US gal) and holding at 290 l (77 US gal). Motorization is emphatically modern: Volvo 2 x IPS 1350 — D13 — 1,000 HP/CV, delivering confident range, handling and efficiency befitting a yacht of this stature.

Standard equipment:

From stem to stern, the X70 is delivered comprehensively equipped for effortless cruising and elegant entertaining. On deck, a stainless steel stem head fitting with anchor roller partners with an anchor stop and a 24V electric windlass with wired remote in the anchor locker, complemented by a chain counter and windlass controls at both the lower helm and flybridge. The anchor locker offers dedicated fender storage, and the anchor washdown provides both freshwater and saltwater options. Hardware is robust and refined, with twelve stainless steel cleats, stainless steel handrails and a stainless steel rubrail, while courtesy LED lighting illuminates the sidedecks. A complete mooring kit and anchoring kit round out the foredeck’s readiness.

At the water’s edge, the hydraulic bathing platform becomes your private beach, served by a hot-and-cold shower and a stainless steel bathing ladder. The cockpit sets the tone with teak-laid flooring, an engine-room access hatch on gas struts, a transom safety gate and a lateral door in the coaming for easy boarding. Entertainment flows with two marine stereo speakers and upholstered ceiling panels that integrate LED lighting, while the deck benefits from freshwater/saltwater washdown. Relax on sofas and a two-tone sunbathing lounge seat with backrests, gather around two coffee tables on stainless steel legs, and shade the area with an aft sun awning/closing kit that rolls out electrically on carbon fiber poles. Dual flybridge staircases with teak steps enhance circulation, courtesy LED lighting adds ambience, and stern docking winches serve both port and starboard.

Up top, the flybridge helm console brings engine throttles and a maneuvering joystick together with a compass, 12V plug, cup holders and a storage compartment. Navigation electronics include an autopilot, a Ray 90 VHF with wireless second station and two Axiom 19XL displays on the flybridge. Helm seats, stainless steel guard rails and a Perspex windscreen establish comfort and security, while an exterior dining table with six RODA chairs and a two-tone sunbathing lounge seat with backrests invite long afternoons in the sun. Two marine stereo speakers set the soundtrack, the flybridge galley offers Corian furniture with wood doors, storage, grill and fridge, courtesy LED lighting builds atmosphere and the hardtop with electric sunroof opens the sky at the touch of a button.

Within the climate-controlled interior helm station, the console gathers engine throttles and a maneuvering joystick with full engine instrumentation, compass and cup holders, and even a wireless charging station on the console. Electronic navigation mirrors the flybridge, with an autopilot, a Ray 90 VHF with wireless second station and three Axiom 16XL displays. The upholstered captain’s chair faces generous lounging to port and starboard, while windscreen wipers with intermittent setting and washers, USB plugs, a searchlight with remotes at each helm station and a horn complete the command environment.

The saloon presents the standard layout, with a flat-screen TV above the galley bar and the dining table to starboard. A dining table with a glass top and stainless steel leg is paired with six interior dining chairs, and the loggia windows system to starboard and port draws the seascape indoors. A leather sofa in Orange Hermès and Beige anchors the lounge, a sliding lateral door to starboard eases access, aluminum venetian window blinds and natural oak flooring refine the finish, and a radio/CD/MP3 with Bluetooth and two stereo speakers complete the ambience.

The galley is chef-ready with a stainless steel sink and mixing tap, MIELE appliances including blower fan, convection/microwave oven, dishwasher and a fridge/freezer of 446 l (118 US gal), a three-burner Miele induction cooktop, a Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner with charging station, a Laminam worktop, waste bin and abundant storage drawers and cupboards, all set over natural oak flooring.

The owner’s haven is the master stateroom, enjoying independent access via a private stairway. A double bed (198 cm/160 cm — 6'5" / 5'2") with innerspring mattress is flanked by two reading lamps and bedside tables with storage. A walk-in closet with shelving and a storage cabinet support extended cruising, while a dressing table with mirror and stool, a sofa and panoramic side windows with blinds and opening ports elevate daily ritual. A removable carpet set eases upkeep, AC and USB plugs serve devices and comforts, and the en suite bathroom features Corian countertops and washbasin, a separate shower compartment, freshwater electric toilets, extractor fan, AC plug and an opening port. A luxury package enhances the finish throughout.

Guests are pampered in the VIP stateroom with a double bed (197 cm/147 cm — 6'5" / 4'9"), an innerspring mattress, two reading lamps, bedside tables, a large closet with shelving and a dressing table with mirror and stool. Large side windows with blinds and opening ports draw light and air, a removable carpet set simplifies care, AC and USB plugs serve every need, and the en suite bathroom mirrors the master with Corian countertops and washbasin, freshwater electric toilets, extractor fan, AC plug, opening port and a luxury package.

Family and friends will appreciate the flexible guest staterooms: to port, two single berths (195 cm/69 cm — 6'4" / 2'3") that convert to a double; to starboard, two single berths (201 cm/70 cm — 6'7" / 2'3") that also convert. Each features a reading lamp, bedside table with storage, a large closet with shelving, a large side window with opening port, a removable carpet set, AC and USB plugs and the same luxury package detailing. For professional crew or extra guests, the optional crew accommodation provides two single berths (196 cm/61 cm — 6'5" / 2'4") and a storage closet.

Propulsion and handling systems are thoroughly modern, with a joystick system for IPS, IPS Nibral twin props, electronic power steering and electronic engine controls and throttles at each helm. Single Lever, Cruise Control, Trim Computer and Low Speed functions simplify every maneuver, a 24V dual-prop bow thruster (240 kgf/529 lbs.) adds authority, electric trim tabs fine-tune running attitude, bronze seawater strainers protect the heartbeat of the yacht and a forced air ventilation system keeps the engine room cool and efficient.

Electrical architecture is reassuringly robust, with a 24V engine battery bank (120 A/h) and a 24V house battery bank (700 A/h), a battery bank crossover switch at the helm and a tactile graphic display for battery levels, AC sources, lighting and tank levels. Remote battery switches, centralized distribution and breaker boxes for AC and DC systems and an AC shore power system are joined by twin 60A/24V battery chargers, a 2000W inverter, LED interior and exterior lighting with dimmer switches and AC plugs in every cabin as well as in the galley and saloon.

Fuel is carried in two interlinked aluminum tanks totaling 4,000 l (1,058 US gal), with fuel fills to port and starboard and a crossover valve, and remote shut-off valves are located in the aft companionway. The freshwater system includes 760 l (201 US gal) tanks, a 120 l (32 US gal) hot water heater, a freshwater pressure pump, a grey water sump pump with automatic discharge and a dock water inlet with regulator. Black water is handled by a 290 l (77 US gal) holding tank with overboard discharge pumps featuring a macerator function and deck pump-out, supported by five automatic bilge pumps with high-water alarm and a manual bilge pump for ultimate redundancy.

Core systems are engineered for comfort and safety: a Mediterranean chilled-water air conditioning system delivers 96,000 BTU of cooling, a 17.5 kVA 220V/50Hz generator supplies quiet, dependable power and automatic fire extinguishers in the engine room (Novec 1230) are controllable from each helm. The structure is equally advanced, with an infused GRP hull featuring longitudinal infused stringers, an infused GRP deck with counter molding, an isophthalic gelcoat and an osmosis barrier, plus infused structural bulkheads for enduring rigidity and reliability.
