Power comes from twin MTU 16V2000 M96L engines supported by an extended-range fuel tank, adding 2,300 litres for a total of 14,500 litres. Fuel integrity is assured by an Alfa Laval MIB303 fuel cleaning centrifuge in addition to the standard Wasp/Separ fuel polishing and conditioning system, which includes a 150-litre sludge tank, while a Wasp oil change in/out unit serves both engines and generators. A Side-Power hydraulic system integrates a fully proportional speed controller and windlass system, with bow and stern thrusters for confident close-quarters manoeuvres.
