Overview
65' Wooden Motor Yacht | 2001
A rare union of timeless craftsmanship and modern performance, this 65-foot wooden motor yacht presents an elegant answer to fast, comfortable cruising. Built in 2001 and lying in the United States, she radiates the warmth and character only a true wooden yacht can deliver—hand-finished joinery, inviting textures underfoot, and a soothing, quiet ride that turns every passage into an occasion.
Beneath her classic lines, twin inboard MTU diesel engines deliver exhilarating performance: a confident 33-knot cruise and thrilling speeds up to 39 knots. The generous 1,760-gallon fuel capacity invites extended coastal adventures, while a 280-gallon freshwater supply supports relaxed living aboard. Her broad 18-foot beam creates a notably stable platform for entertaining and passagemaking, and a 15.31-foot draft contributes to a planted, surefooted feel offshore, rewarding the helmsman with reassuring tracking and balance.
On deck, the beautifully finished wood surfaces glow with pride of build, enhancing both grip and comfort. Expansive lounging areas invite sunlit afternoons and sunset cocktails, with space to dine alfresco and gather in conversation. Thoughtful sightlines and secure side decks promote confidence when moving about, while the aft area sets the stage for waterborne fun and easy boarding.
Inside, the ambiance is rich yet welcoming—bathed in natural light and framed by artisanal joinery. An open, sociable salon offers panoramic views and a graceful flow into a fully equipped galley, ideal for unhurried breakfasts or celebratory dinners. Private accommodations are arranged to pamper owners and guests alike, with serene staterooms, generous storage, and refined finishes that age beautifully. Climate comfort and integrated entertainment enhance the onboard experience, whether you’re slipping away for a weekend or embracing a season on the water.
Underway, she is poised and responsive—her wooden hull absorbing vibration and softening the sea’s edge for a ride that is both quick and composed. At anchor, she transforms into an intimate retreat, her craftsmanship drawing admirers and her comfort welcoming family and friends. For the yachtsman who values authenticity, speed, and the living heritage of wooden yachts, this 65-footer stands apart as a distinctive statement of taste and capability.
