Detailed Description
Technical specifications
Mouchka is a 2021 Sanlorenzo motor yacht refit in 2025 and flying the Malta flag, her grey gelcoat hull and white gelcoat superstructure crafted in GRP over a full displacement configuration. She measures 35.75m (117.29 ft) LOA with a waterline length of 33.80m (110.9 ft) at half load, a beam of 7.90m (25.9 ft), and a draft of 1.96m (6.4 ft) at full load; gross tonnage is 298 and half-load displacement is 175 tons. Naval architecture is by Sanlorenzo, with exterior design by Zuccon International Project and interiors by Bismut & Bismut Architectes. Accommodation spans five staterooms for ten guests, with three crew quarters for five crew berths. Classification is Rina Pleasure Yacht Unrestricted Navigation, Maltese Cross Hull dot Mach Y, and she is not commercial.
At sea, she cruises serenely at 9 knots and reaches a maximum of 18 knots. Fuel consumption is impressively disciplined across her displacement envelope: 60 litres per hour at 9 knots, 85 litres per hour at 10 knots, 125 litres per hour at 11 knots, 175 litres per hour at 12 knots, 200 litres per hour at 13 knots, 240 litres per hour at 14 knots, 315 litres per hour at 15 knots, and 340 litres per hour at 16.5 knots, delivering a range at cruising speed of 2,790 nautical miles including a 15% reserve. Stores are generous, with 32,000 litres of fuel (8,453 US gallons), 4,000 litres of fresh water (1,056 US gallons), and 3,000 litres of grey/black water (792 US gallons).
Her machinery suite is led by twin Caterpillar ACERT C32 engines rated at 1,193 kW (1,622 hp) at 2,300 rpm, turning through twin ZF 2300A reduction gears at a 4:1 ratio, on twin Aquamet 17 (or equivalent) shafts with twin five‑blade NiBrAl propellers; engine hours recorded on 29/10/2025 were 2,461 hours starboard and 2,469 hours port. Fuel is diesel, polished through Racor filters. Manoeuvring is effortless with an electric 400 Vac three‑phase 45 kW bow thruster with a 500 mm tunnel diameter and an electric 30 kW stern thruster, while CMC electric stabilizers provide both zero‑speed and underway stabilization. Climate control totals 240,000 BTU on four compressors arranged in two groups. Fresh water autonomy is reinforced by an Idromar watermaker producing 240 litres per hour and twin fresh‑water pumps—one 400 Vac and one 24 Vdc—feeding the system, with sewage treated by a Tecnicomar Ecomar 45S plant. Domestic hot water is abundant via two 200‑litre boilers, an upgrade from the standard 150‑litre units.
Electrical power is robust and redundant, with twin 400 Vac/50 Hz three‑phase 70 kW generators; generator hours recorded on 29/10/2025 were 8,078 hours starboard and 8,060 hours port. The yacht’s distribution includes 400 Vac 50 Hz three‑phase, 230 Vac 50 Hz single‑phase, 24 Vdc, and 12 Vdc circuits, engineered for seamless hotel and propulsion support.
Communication equipment features a KVH TV8 satellite antenna, a phone system with ten cordless telephones, a Simrad VHF, and Starlink Wi‑Fi connectivity. Navigation is thoroughly Simrad‑driven—magnetic compass, autopilot, GPS, gyro compass, forward scanner, sounder, radar, and chartplotter—displayed across four 24‑inch Simrad monitors; the suite is completed by a V3100 SOTDMA Class B AIS with GPS‑500, a rudder angle indicator, a search light, and FLYR thermal capability.
Deck equipment is tailored for serious cruising: twin 4,000 W electric anchor windlasses working twin 175 kg galvanized steel HHP anchors, one 14 mm anchor chain at 225 m and one 16 mm chain at 165 m, and twin 3,000 W electric capstans. Boarding and bathing are elegant and swift with an electro‑hydraulic retractable passerelle, a generous swimming platform, and an electro‑hydraulic retractable swimming ladder; awnings and covers are aboard to shade and protect every social area.
Entertainment flows throughout: Smart LED TVs include 49 inches in the main salon, 46 inches in the sky lounge on the upper deck, 32 inches in the VIP cabins, 28 inches in guest cabins, and 28 inches in the crew mess, supported by a custom audio/video package for immersive onboard cinema and music.
The galley is professionally specified with Miele throughout: a 90 cm oven (in lieu of the standard 60 cm), an 80 cm induction cooking top (in lieu of the standard 75 cm), a dishwasher upgraded from standard, a 60 cm combo oven replacing the standard microwave, and a steam oven, complemented by a dedicated Miele vegetable fridge, two Miele freezer/fridges, three lower fridges serving the crew dinette, skylounge, salon, and fly areas, and a microwave oven in the crew dinette. Practicalities include a trash compactor, food waste disposal, a 34‑bottle wine cooler in the upper deck pantry, and twin Vitrifrigo icemakers serving the upper and fly decks. Laundry is managed by a Miele professional washing machine and a Miele professional drying machine.
Security and safety are comprehensive with Panasonic CCTV, an EPIRB, life rafts and inflatable life jackets, portable fire extinguishers, and an FM200 firefighting system serving the engine room, control room, and garage, all overseen by smoke detection throughout.
Tenders and toys are equally well chosen, with a William D505 diesel tender complemented by a Willian 280 Minijet for swift ship‑to‑shore and playful exploration.
The options list elevates capability and comfort across every system. Electrical enhancements include an additional 24 V 25 A battery charger for the generator batteries, a 2,500 W inverter dedicated to the galley fridge and freezer, and UPS coverage for audio/video with one unit at 6,400 W and a second up to 3,200 W. Shore connectivity is streamlined by a Cablemaster—Glendinning CM8—for 100/125 A shore sockets with an additional unit for SD 126; extra sockets at 24 V or 220 V are provided as required, with two additional 220 V waterproof sockets—one on the upper deck and one in the bow area of the main deck—and the second generator is upgraded to 70 kW. Alarms and controls are professional‑grade: a Panasonic CCTV IP system with DVR comprising two fixed cameras in the cockpit, two fixed in the lateral passageways, one pan‑and‑tilt and two fixed in the engine room with remote mobile access; a 17‑inch color monitor for CCTV in the crew dinette; an additional 12‑inch touch‑screen ship‑monitoring display in the crew dinette; dedicated cameras and lights on the anchors; additional generator alarms mirrored in the wheelhouse and on the crew dinette touch screen; and a complete intrusion alarm system with magnetic sensors on all exterior doors, four volumetric sensors, a central switchboard with a dedicated smoke detector, and an internal siren. Electronics are extended with a Caterpillar portable control station connection on the main deck and Portuguese deck. Satellite and communication systems for TV feature a mast predisposition for a double radome (only for SD 118), a KVH TV8 installation, and an empty KVH TV8 radome; for communications, a PABX telephone switchboard supports ten cordless telephones. Audio and video are further supported by a 4G Internet Wi‑Fi system with a harbour hot‑spot antenna. Household efficiency is ensured by a central vacuum system with four connection points—lower deck, main deck, upper deck, and crew area.
Complements for the interior underline a bespoke aesthetic and ease of living: five towel heaters across the owner, guest, and VIP bathrooms; four additional safes for the guest and VIP cabins; three bed frame opening systems with pistons for convenient under‑bed storage; six additional electric blackout curtains for owner, VIP, and guest cabins; and four electric decorative curtains, replacing standard manuals, for the VIP and guest cabins. Exterior complements refine every deck: on the flybridge, a stern sun awning and full teak flooring; on the upper deck, a stern sun awning, a side balcony with a lateral door to port, a Norwegian cockpit cover, and Strataglass protection for the upper deck cockpit including the left side walkway with a closure reaching the stern of the dining table. The main deck gains a cockpit summer cover for the stern area, a bow sun awning, foot switches for the anchor windlass and the capstans with reverse, a Marquipt sea stair with nine steps, six underwater LED lights, stainless‑steel boat name letters approximately 150–300 mm across seven letters, two additional chain lengths including one length of 27.5 m, openable side windows in the full‑beam area on the starboard side only, Nomen cleats on the swimming platform replacing the standard cleats, additional handrails on the stern platform when lowered, stainless‑steel protection for the line on the fixed part of the swimming platform, and a manual stainless‑steel gangway handrail in lieu of the standard. Technical service enhancements include a tender fuel filling system with electric pump; an electric oil‑change pump for engines, gearboxes, and generators with flexible rubber hoses—generators permanently connected, tank not included; a purification active‑carbon filter for the fresh‑water system; a UV filter SH5000 on fresh water; an Idrofast 9100 water softener; and a compressed‑air system with four connections at the bow area, garage, engine room, and flybridge. Tender and Jet Ski handling is simplified by a garage hauling and launching system. Certifications include the Rina Class Certificate for Pleasure Yachts, the International Tonnage Certificate, and the Carving & Marking Note Certificate.
A curated list of upgrades underscores her premium specification: a Simrad Diamond navigation‑electronics package, different from the Silver standard configuration, and a custom A/V package; in the guest cabins, two sliding beds broaden berthing flexibility. Extra options tailor the ambiance and materiality throughout: a guest bathroom glass door with gradient effect and a brass frame replacing the standard glass and lacquered‑wood frame; an owner bathroom door in frosted striped glass with a brass frame in lieu of the standard glass and lacquered wood; walls, doors, and ceilings in sandblasted spruce stained white with a horizontal grain replacing the standard vertical‑grain finish; window panels and portions of the owner’s and VIP furniture in metallic lacquer instead of standard lacquer or wood; guest bathroom mirror cabinets with sliding doors and copper frames, and owner bathroom mirror cabinets in frosted striped glass with gunmetal frames, each replacing standard mirror cabinets; mirrors with a “frozen” frosted finish for TV walls in cabins and on guest‑bathroom panels replacing standard glass; raw panels prepared for gradient‑lacquered canvas on pre‑exposed cabin panels; a headboard combining sandblasted white spruce dowel, stitched leather, and a raw panel behind, in lieu of the standard headboard; VIP and guest bedside tables with enamelled lava‑stone tops, with the owner’s bedside table likewise planned in enamelled lava stone; recessed ceilings with a curved shape in the owner’s cabin and salons; an owner cabin wall in faux concrete replacing the standard wood wall, extended to the guest staircase wall and adjacent areas; cabin entrance doors designed with no visible frames; a daily bathroom in terrazzo on the walls, replacing standard wood, and a daily‑bathroom vanity in solid terrazzo replacing the standard marble top and ceramic basin; owner, VIP, and guest bathroom walls in terrazzo replacing standard lacquer; a redesigned dressing room and owner’s cabin furniture with full‑height furniture in the guest toilet; rounded salon furniture replacing standard pieces; crew‑shower walls in Kerlite Plus Via Condotti Cotto D'Este replacing standard lacquered walls; FUTURE AUTOMATION CHR6‑M ceiling TV lifts in the main‑ and upper‑deck salons replacing the standard push‑up S&S systems; CEA faucets replacing standard fittings; PLH 3P switch plates, sockets, and thermostats replacing standard switches; a helical staircase and printed fabric dressing the guest staircase; indirect ceiling and furniture lighting with recessed ceiling spotlights replacing standard lighting; a BOFFI kitchen in Fenix with a saw‑effect wood finish replacing the standard galley; eight metal wall lamps in guest cabins; a studless 14 mm anchor chain grade L3 at 225 m replacing the standard 16 mm chain at 137.5 m, including windlass modification; replacement of standard lifejackets with inflatable models, twenty‑two plus two for children; two additional Panasonic cameras in the main‑ and upper‑deck salons; a repeater for the fin‑stabilizer alarm on the monitoring system; an additional Wi‑Fi module for Simrad navigation electronics; Treca mattresses for owner, VIP, and guest cabins replacing the standard mattresses; teak steps with a stainless‑steel structure for the forward cockpit; an additional gate for the Portuguese deck in stainless steel and glass; additional pull‑out shelves for the upper‑deck storage cabinet; teak cladding and additional pull‑out shelves for the main‑deck starboard storage; and an additional Wi‑Fi repeater for the crew quarters.
