Detailed Description
Overview
Built by renowned Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo, the 108-foot motor yacht ALEGHI fuses sophisticated Italian styling with impressive performance and true cruising capability. Delivered in 2008, she was conceived to provide an exceptional experience on the water, marrying speed, comfort, and effortless handling.
Sanlorenzo shaped ALEGHI’s sleek exterior with clean lines, a streamlined superstructure, and expansive outdoor areas ideal for relaxing and entertaining. Inside, the Italian firm Della Role Design curated an elegant interior that exudes warmth and refinement, showcasing craftsmanship and the understated luxury synonymous with Italian yacht design.
Powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M93 diesel engines, each producing 2,400 horsepower, she reaches a top speed of approximately 26 knots and cruises comfortably at 18 knots, making her perfectly suited to coastal passages, island-hopping, and extended days at sea. A planing hull ensures a smooth, efficient ride, while generous exterior spaces elevate life aboard. Balancing performance, style, and comfort, ALEGHI is as rewarding for exhilarating cruising as she is for unhurried time with family and guests.
Main machinery
Propulsion is delivered by two MTU 16V 2000 M93 engines (2,400 HP), coupled to ZF 3060-A gearboxes with a 3.0:1 ratio and a straight shaft inboard drive. Engine hours total 4,730 as of July 2026. Speed and consumption figures (speed – consump/hr – range – rpm) are expressed as follows: at maximum, 26 – 220 gl – 460 nm – 2400; at cruising, 18 – 140 gl – 520 nm – 1900; and in an economical setting, 12 – 50 gl – 900 nm – 1300.
Auxiliary equipment
Power generation and distribution are anchored by two Kohler 55EFOZD generators, each rated at 55 kW and 60 Hz. The starboard unit shows 12461 hours and the port 13700 hours, with fuel consumption of approximately 3 gl/h. Shore power is handled via two 100 A cords supplying an Atlas Shore Power Converter SPA-60M-C for seamless, stable electricity whether alongside or underway.
Starting power and reserves are purpose-built, with four Finish Line NS150 batteries for main engine starting, four Deka 24M7 units for generator starting, and eight Odyssey PC1800FT batteries designated for emergency service.
Onboard climate control is delivered by two Dometic central chillers with raw water and circulation pump, distributing comfort through 28 air handlers throughout the vessel.
Ancillary equipment
Engineered for self-sufficiency and smooth handling, the yacht features two Sea Recovery Aquatic 700-1 watermakers, each delivering 60 gph, ABT/TRAC zero speed stabilizers with trim tabs, and hydraulic ABT bow and stern thrusters, all complemented by a robust hydraulic steering system. Fuel quality is safeguarded by an Alfa Laval fuel separator working in concert with Racor filters, while a Hamman sewage treatment plant processes sewage. The freshwater system pairs two AC pumps and one DC pump by GIANNESCHI with a Spot Zero filter to provide a consistently pure supply. There is no bilge water filtration system installed. Lubricating oil capacity is 45 gl, and waste oil capacity is 45 gl.
Communication systems
Seamless connectivity is delivered through a comprehensive suite of satellite and onboard solutions, including Starlink for high-speed broadband, a Sailor VSAT system for robust offshore coverage, KVH DirecTV for entertainment reception, and a handheld satellite phone for redundant voice contact. Shipboard calling and internal coordination are managed via a Panasonic PABX, which also serves as the vessel’s intercom. VHF communications are handled by one ICOM unit with an HM195B and one HM157B. There is no SSB installation and no dedicated cellular phone system, reflecting a streamlined, satellite-centric communications profile.
Navigation systems
Command your course with a comprehensive suite of professional-grade systems, beginning with twin Furuno open-array radars rated at 25 and 12 KW for precise target acquisition in all conditions. Position and heading are assured by the Furuno SC-33 satellite compass and a Shellsol D-70 magnetic compass, while the Simrad AP70 MK2 autopilot delivers confident, hands-off steering. Subsurface awareness comes from an Airmar B-260 depth sounder rated at 1 KW, and route planning is intuitive on two Garmin chartplotters with 12- and 14-inch displays. A custom ship’s computer running Time Zero software integrates data and charts for seamless navigation, and the Airmar Weather Station 200 WX supplies accurate wind and speed log information. This yacht is not fitted with a weather fax or Navtex.
Entertainment system
The yacht’s entertainment suite features Apple TV in the salon, master cabin, and skylounge, with DIRECTV available in all staterooms and common areas. A Kaleidescape Movie System is integrated on most TVs, and multiple speakers positioned throughout the interior and exterior immerse every area in rich, balanced sound.
Galley and laundry equipment
Thoughtfully appointed for culinary excellence, the main galley features a Viking range and oven, two Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer units, and a Miele dishwasher to streamline service. Complementing this is a comprehensive suite of additional amenities including a toaster, electric kettle, mixer, panini grill, and blender, supported by two stainless steel drink fridges, two ice makers, and one wine fridge serving the salon and sky lounge bar areas, with coffee service elevated by two Nespresso machines. Practicality continues in the main laundry, which is equipped with two Miele washers and two Miele dryers for effortless care of linens and guest attire.
Deck equipment
Purposeful and robust, the foredeck is equipped with two Lofrans Ercole Verticale anchor windlasses feeding two 375 lbs stainless steel Pool HHP type anchors on two 300 ft lengths of 16 mm galvanized studlink chain, while aft warping capstans are fitted for precise handling in tight quarters. A custom-built davit system services a 15 ft dinghy and two PWCs with ease, complemented by a Besenzoni passerelle for effortless boarding. At the water’s edge, a generous swimming platform with a stainless steel swim ladder invites relaxed access to the sea.
Security, firefighting, and safety equipment
The yacht’s security suite is anchored by a CCTV system centered on an Avycon DVR offering 3.7 TB of storage, seamlessly integrated with four cameras and three monitors for comprehensive oversight. Fire protection is equally robust, featuring a fixed FM-200 system in the engine room complemented by a sprinkler system in the boat garage, while twenty-one portable fire extinguishers ranging from 2.5 up to 20 lbs ensure rapid response throughout. Interior and exterior alarms provide immediate alerts for added peace of mind. Safety at sea is assured with two Datrex life rafts each rated for eight persons, three life rings with throw lines, one ACR RLB-41 EPIRB, and a full offshore flare kit. Medical readiness is complete with a full medical kit, an oxygen kit, an AED, and a stretcher.
Tenders and toys
From exhilarating rides to laid-back days at anchor, the yacht’s inventory is curated for every mood on the water. The tender suite features a 2011 14’ Zodiac YL420 DL powered by a 60 hp Yamaha, complemented by two 2018 Yamaha EX Sport jet skis. For underwater exploration, a complete dive and snorkel gear set is accompanied by two scuba tanks and a Bauer Junior II air compressor. Shoreside comfort comes courtesy of four beach chairs, a sun umbrella, and a beach table, while wellness moments are supported by yoga mats. Practical touches such as water shoes and Yeti tumblers round out the collection for effortless enjoyment on and off the water.
