Detailed Description
Main deck
Entry to the main salon is through double sliding glass doors from the aft deck, where CHECKERED PAST’s twenty-four-foot beam, full-width salon, and forward dining area immediately create an amplified sense of volume. Marble surfaces elegantly complement the oak wood tones throughout, while to port a marble-topped sunken bar invites conviviality with four bar stools, an icemaker, and a sink with ample storage. To starboard, a generous L-shaped sofa is paired with two ottoman tables, and the entertainment center showcases a TV on a lift that drops down when not in use, preserving unobstructed views and a clean aesthetic.
Forward, a formal dining area is anchored by a large, round glass-top table surrounded by eight upholstered dining chairs. Overhead, a custom soffit with a decorative light fixture and dimmable recessed lighting sets the mood. Built-in buffet cabinets to port and starboard feature marble surfaces and tailored storage below for china, glassware, flatware, and related service pieces. On the forward bulkhead, two glass-front display shelves with lighting and storage below present a striking showcase, while a fifty-bottle wine cooler keeps selections perfectly at hand. The day head sits just forward of the dining area to starboard. Ahead lies the raised pilothouse, with access to the lower deck accommodations to starboard.
The gourmet-style galley is positioned forward and includes a built-in U-shaped settee for relaxed, informal dining. Continuing forward of the galley, with its own private entrance, is the VIP Queen Stateroom with private bath.
Accommodations
The full-beam master suite is reached through a double-door entry on the lower deck and centers on a California king berth with storage drawers below and an upholstered, mirrored bulkhead. Swing-arm brass reading lights flank the bed above built-in nightstands, while a custom overhead soffit combines upholstered padding, rich wood, and accent lighting to dramatic effect. To port sits a built-in 16-drawer dresser capped in granite; to starboard, an upholstered settee pairs with a storage end table and headside cabinetry, all adjacent to a walk-in cedar-lined closet. The master ensuite is a refined His and Her arrangement with marble vanity tops and flooring, Kohler sinks fitted with chrome and gold fixtures, mirrored vanity cabinets, and an overhead mirror. A crema marble walk-through shower and Kohler Jacuzzi tub are divided by tempered glass panels that elegantly separate the his and hers sides.
Forward of the galley, a private stairway descends to the VIP stateroom, where a centerline queen berth with storage below is framed by decorative built-in shelving to port and starboard. An upholstered settee lies to starboard, complemented by a built-in five-drawer dresser aft and a cedar-lined hanging closet forward for generous storage. Entertainment is provided by a Sony 42-inch LED TV and two overhead speakers. The ensuite features a marble vanity top, a polished Sateo sink, and a shower enclosed by a glass door.
Opposite the master suite are two guest staterooms. To port, the guest cabin offers a queen berth with storage beneath, two built-in nightstands, a six-drawer dresser with a granite top, and a cedar-lined closet with full-length mirrors. To starboard, the twin guest stateroom presents a center nightstand with a granite top and three drawers, two swing-arm reading lights, and a built-in three-drawer dresser. Both cabins are equipped with a Sony 40-inch TV and Boston Acoustics overhead speakers. Each ensuite is appointed with a marble-topped vanity, Kohler sinks with chrome and gold fixtures, a shower with glass doors, and marble flooring.
Pilothouse/flybridge
The pilothouse is accessible from the main deck on both port and starboard, with a single helm seat positioned at center. From here, stairs lead up to the flybridge, where two STIDD chairs face a central navigation station. Removable Isenglass screens encircle the area, and a bar setup with four stools and a settee creates a comfortable space for entertaining. Further aft sits the hot tub, while additional movable chairs are arranged near the crane for tender storage.
Crew accommodation
Set just aft of the engine room and accessed directly from the swim platform or the aft deck, the crew mess serves as a practical hub that accommodates four to five crew across three cabins. The captain’s cabin features a double berth, TV, ample drawer and cabinet storage, and a private head with shower. Forward, the crew cabin offers three single berths, storage, and a TV, while aft a second crew cabin provides a single berth and TV; these two cabins share a head with a stall shower. The crew mess is fully outfitted for extended service with two sets of washers and dryers, two SPT chest freezers, Corian countertops, a sink, and a Sub-Zero refrigerator.
