Overview
Gemini, a 2023 Princess X95 super flybridge luxury motor yacht, stands as the most highly specified X95 ever to leave the yard. Commissioned new by her single owner and fastidiously cared for by an accomplished, full-time crew, she is presented in truly outstanding condition throughout. Finished in graceful Silver Oak and appointed with bespoke marble en suites developed in concert with the Princess Yachts Design Studio, Gemini reveals a standard of craftsmanship, finesse, and investment seldom encountered within the series. Enhancing her tri-deck superyacht pedigree are a Williams 505 DieselJet tender, Starlink connectivity, a hydraulic beach club transformer platform, an adaptable five-stateroom arrangement, duty-paid status, and an inviting bow Jacuzzi—underscoring her turn-key appeal for extended cruising and refined entertaining.
Detailed Description
Deck fittings
Every exterior space is finished in teak, from the transom platform and stairs to the cockpit deck, the flybridge and its stairway, the side decks and the foredeck walkthrough, creating a seamless, tactile surface underfoot. Twin self-stowing 125 kg/275 lbs galvanised Kedge anchors are housed in dedicated anchor pockets with automatic launch and retrieval, each served by one hundred metres of chain, while twin reversible hydraulic anchor winches with dual-station controls put precise handling at your fingertips. Dockside manoeuvres are equally effortless with twin electric stern line mooring winches, complemented by stainless steel cleats, fairleads and handrails positioned for secure, confident handling. The foredeck invites relaxation with dedicated seating and a generous sunbathing area, supported by storage lockers for ropes, fenders and sun bed cushions to keep the decks impeccably ordered. Practical touches abound, including a telephone connection point, stern docking lights, LED deck level lighting and a freshwater deck/anchor wash to keep equipment and teakwork pristine.
Cockpit
The cockpit invites relaxation with generous U-shaped seating wrapped around a teak dining table. Twin transom gates lead aft to an electro-hydraulic transformer bathing platform equipped with a foldaway swimming ladder and a hot and cold shower. From the side deck, a door leads to the crew quarters and engine room, while transom doors provide direct access to the garage with an electro-hydraulic door and a manual wet bike launch system for a 3.05m wet bike. Boarding is effortless via a remote control 5m telescopic passarelle with a folding handrail, and precise close-quarters handling comes from the stern docking control position. A tailored cockpit cover protects the space when not in use.
Flybridge
The aft flybridge deck is arranged with freestanding furniture to create an inviting open‑air lounge, centered around a generous dining table with chairs for eight, increasing to ten in the five‑cabin layout. Entertainment is elevated by a Naim Uniti Atom audio system with waterproof speakers, while a well‑appointed servery unit with sink and tap streamlines hosting. Practicality is equally considered with dedicated life raft storage and the option of a crane rated to 1000 kg SWL.
Wheelhouse
The wheelhouse is conceived as a refined command center, where an electrically adjustable helm seat faces a neatly arranged console and a U-shaped seating area with a table to port invites relaxed observation. A sliding privacy door leads to the Skylounge area, while a helmsman’s door opens to the side deck and an electric opening window to port ushers in fresh air. The helm is equipped with full engine instrumentation, including fuel gauges, exhaust temperature, fuel contamination alarms, and a rudder position indicator. An integrated navigation suite features colour radar, GPS, and a chartplotter presented across three displays, together with VHF/RT, a speed and distance log, an echo sounder with alarm, an autopilot, and a high‑speed magnetic compass. Intuitive controls govern the bow thruster, windscreen wipers, the bilge pump, and trim tabs with indicator. CCTV provides vigilant oversight of the engine room and cockpit, while an intercom links the galley and crew area, and an automatic foghorn with loudhailer enhances safety and communication. Electrical management is centralized through a 24V and 240V control panel, red night lighting preserves night vision, and a toughened glass screen remains crystal clear after dark.
Skylounge
The skylounge opens to the aft deck through stainless steel–framed sliding doors, bathed in natural light from glazed roof panels fitted with powered blinds. An inviting L‑shaped seating area with a coffee table creates a relaxed social hub, complemented by a refined sideboard unit that integrates bottle and glass storage with a refrigerator. Entertainment is cinematic, featuring a 55-inch 4K UHD LED TV on an electric raise/lower mechanism, partnered with a DVD and Blu-ray system and an immersive Naim audio system.
Deck saloon
The deck saloon invites relaxation with a U-shaped seating area anchored by a two-seater sofa and a coffee table. To starboard, a sofa with storage below is complemented by four armchairs gathered around a coffee table, creating a sociable retreat beside an entertainment centre incorporating a 65” 4K UHD LED TV on an electric raise/lower mechanism and a DVD Blu-ray system with a Naim audio system. A refined sideboard unit provides bottle and glass storage alongside a refrigerator and an icemaker, while an access door to the side deck enhances flow and a discreet day head adds welcome convenience.
Galley
The galley is conceived as a social hub, featuring a forward dining area that incorporates an entertainment unit with a Naim audio system to set an inviting ambience for every course. Culinary capability is assured by a five-zone induction hob paired with a conventional oven and a microwave oven with grill, delivering precise heat and versatile cooking options. A central island unit integrates twin stainless steel sinks and a dishwasher to streamline preparation and cleanup, while twin full-height refrigerators with freezer drawers provide generous, well-organized cold storage. An icemaker stands ready for perfectly chilled refreshments, and a suite of storage lockers, cupboards, and drawers keeps provisions and tableware neatly in place.
Accommodation
Designed for effortless comfort and refinement, the accommodation showcases thoughtful amenities throughout. Cabins and bathrooms are appointed with opening portholes and dedicated air conditioning outlets to ensure fresh airflow and precise climate control. Every cabin provides 220/240v power points, and the pocket sprung mattresses deliver exceptional support for restorative rest. In the bathrooms, full shower stalls, electric freshwater toilets, an extractor fan, and 240v shaver points complete a practical and luxurious specification.
Crew quarters
Thoughtfully appointed to elevate comfort and efficiency, the crew quarters include a captain’s cabin with a single bed, a wardrobe, and generous storage lockers, complemented by a crew cabin offering two single beds with its own wardrobe and ample lockers. A well-equipped bathroom features a separate stall shower, an electric freshwater toilet, and a washbasin, ensuring complete convenience on extended passages. The dedicated crew mess adds practical versatility with a microwave oven, sink, refrigerator, and a washing machine with a separate dryer. Practicality continues with convenient access to the engine room for swift and discreet service underway.
Power and drive system
Precision and reliability define the power and drive system, beginning with five-bladed propellers in nickel-aluminum-bronze that deliver smooth, efficient thrust. Low-speed maneuvering is effortless thanks to a bow thruster rated at 550 kgf / 1,210 lbf, while a power-assisted electro-hydraulic steering system with hydraulic back-up ensures confident control at any speed. Seamless operation flows through an electronic engine and gear shift control system, supported by robust dripless shaft seals for clean, dependable running. An engine-room extractor fan with electronic time delay optimizes ventilation and thermal management long after shutdown, preserving performance and longevity.
Electrical systems 24V
Engine starting is assured by four heavy-duty batteries, complemented by six heavy-duty auxiliary batteries and a battery link facility with remote control at the helm. Remote battery master switches are fitted, with a central control switch at the main panel, while two 100 kW battery chargers serve both banks via an automatic switch charging system. LED lighting is installed throughout. For 220/240-volt service, power is delivered by two 40 kW diesel generators, each with its own sound shield, water cooling, and a specially silenced exhaust, supported by a three-phase and one single-phase shore support inlet, an earth leakage safety trip, a polarity check system, circuit breakers on all circuits, and power points in every area. Twin Glendinning Cablemasters with Hubbel shore cables come as standard, and AGM 90 Ah batteries are specified in place of the standard units for both starting and domestic banks. Comfort and convenience are elevated with a wine cooler fitted in the salon sideboard, a top-loading coolbox replacing the starboard foredeck storage locker, and air horns in place of the standard electric horns. Nighttime ambiance and safety are enhanced by two high-impact mini-dome anchor pocket cameras, one for each anchor; four Lumishore THX 803 full-color underwater transom lights interfaced with the radar/chartplotter MFDs; eight Lumishore TIX 803 full-color underwater lights to the aft hull sides, also interfaced with the radar/chartplotter MFDs; and a Lumishore STV2240i controller in the cockpit to command the underwater lighting. Onboard comfort extends to underfloor heating in the master stateroom bathroom and heated towel bars in the main deck master, aft, and forward VIP staterooms, three in total. The exterior lighting upgrade package adds sixteen fiber-optic overhead lights to the cockpit, eight overhead main-deck downlighters serving the side-deck areas, thirteen main-deck low-level lights, and six lower-level lights illuminating the bow and foredeck, while the interior lighting upgrade package provides sixteen additional fiber-optic lights throughout the aft and forward salon areas.
Fuel system
The main fuel tank, crafted from NS8 marine grade alloy, provides a substantial 2948 gal/3540 US gal/13400l capacity for extended cruising. Fuel fillers on both the port and starboard side decks enable efficient refueling from either side. High-capacity duplex fuel filters and water traps safeguard the system, supported by an audible and visual fuel contamination warning for immediate awareness. For swift isolation and added safety, remote fuel cocks are positioned within the cockpit locker.
Water system
Engineered for autonomy and comfort, the freshwater installation features water tanks providing 352 gal/423 US gal/1600l of capacity, complemented by a 45 gal/54 US gal/205l hot-water calorifier for ample onboard supply. A precise water level gauge enables effortless monitoring, while the electric freshwater WC system is supported by a generous 720l holding tank to ensure clean, hassle-free operation on extended passages.
Air conditioning
An advanced 342,000 Btu chilled water system supplies outlets throughout all accommodation areas, incorporates reverse cycle heating with a linked windscreen de-mist system, and is suitable for tropical conditions, including ambient temperatures of 40 degrees C.
Fire extinguisher
For total peace of mind, onboard protection includes automatic fire extinguishers in the engine room with a manual override, integrated with a warning system at the helm position and incorporating an engine air vent closure system, complemented by hand-operated extinguishers placed throughout all cabins, the galley, crew areas, and the flybridge.
Bilge pumps
The bilge system integrates automatic and manual electric bilge pumps for immediate, reliable activation, complemented by high-capacity manual bilge pumps fitted with a valve system and suction points in the same areas to ensure efficient water removal.
Additional options
A comprehensive suite of enhancements elevates navigation, communication, comfort, and style. At the helm, an additional Garmin Fantom 54—featuring a 4' open array radar with 50 W of power—joins a Garmin GXM 53 Sirius SAT weather antenna, an additional Garmin VHF 315 marine radio, and a Garmin sonar module with Airmar B744 triducer connected to the navigation screens. For precise wind data, a gWind Wireless 2 transducer is fully integrated with the Garmin equipment and positioned at the front of the canopy hardtop. The crew mess gains an additional Boening screen with a Garmin MFD 8612 display located nearby, while the VHF antennas are painted to match the hardtop for a cohesive aesthetic.
Practicality on board is enhanced by a separate washer and vented dryer on the main deck, discreetly located within the chair storage forward of the day head. This installation includes soundproofing fitted between the cupboard and the master cabin, along with the relocation of the salon passageway AC unit to the stateroom wardrobe. Safety is addressed with two Ocean Safety ISO RAF0195 10‑man SOLAS B cannister liferafts.
The flybridge enjoys a revised furniture layout featuring three Paola Lenti loungers, including credit for two standard sun loungers, a U‑shaped sofa with an additional two corners with credit for the standard arrangement, and two Summit smoothie armchairs. Below, the crew arrangement is reconfigured to provide three cabins, two heads, and a beach club/crew mess, and the price includes credit for the optional transom configuration under “layout” above. Finishes are refined with non‑standard Artwood flooring in the main deck salon, complete with an inlaid rug* and a forward bar/dining area, while the skylounge and wheelhouse carry the same Artwood flooring as standard, with an inlaid rug* in the sky lounge.
Generators
Designed for dependable onboard power, two Onan 40kW / 60Hz generators are fitted as standard, with the option to upgrade to two Onan 55kW / 60Hz units in place of the standard specification. The port generator reads 4400, mirrored by the starboard at 4400.
Layout
This yacht presents a five stateroom layout anchored by a forward main-deck master stateroom. An enclosed galley and a dining area seating ten are set forward of the salon, featuring an extending table with dining chairs specified in place of the standard arrangement. The salon can be appointed with an L-shaped sofa to port, two armchairs at the aft end, and a sofa to starboard. On the port side of the salon, an optional bar replaces the sideboard and includes a fridge, an icemaker, storage, and a sink, complete with two stools; this option is not compatible with the configuration featuring two armchairs and a coffee table to port.
Both port and starboard cabins offer a double-berth conversion via a powered sliding mechanism on the inboard berth. The skylounge is served by a day head with a basin, a bidet, and a storage locker. The wheelhouse gains an additional navigation helm seat. An optional transom configuration incorporates an aft lazarette area and a jetski garage, two crew cabins with bunks in each, a crew mess, and two separate bathrooms. Additional acoustic insulation is fitted to the main-deck master stateroom and the engine-room bulkheads; please note this enhancement adds approximately 300 kg.
Interior furniture
An elegant Silver Oak interior in Satin finish sets a refined tone throughout, while the galley, dining, and helm floors are 'V' groove planked walnut as standard. Extending this cohesive aesthetic, the salon and bar area floors are specified in 'V' groove planked wood, with an inlaid rug* in the aft salon area, and the wood type matches that of the galley, dining, and helm.
Audio visual and communications
The standard audio/video system for the four-cabin layout with country kitchen is meticulously curated to deliver immersive entertainment throughout the yacht. In the deck salon, a 65" UHD Smart LED TV rises on a power lift, anchored by a Naim Uniti Star audio system with Bluetooth, multi-zone streaming capability and dedicated app, a Blu-ray UHD CD/DVD player, and a powerful array of four Focal speakers with subwoofer. A Garmin AIS 800 black box transceiver is interfaced with the existing VHF aerial, enabling the Automatic Identification System to both transmit and receive ship identification, position, course, and speed information. Please note that the AIS installation price does not include final commissioning, which must be carried out locally once the ship’s name, call sign, and MMSI number are known.
Chase tubes for the later fitting of SAT TV are in place, running from the hardtop SAT TV dome location to the main salon stereo console, and from the main salon stereo console onward to all TV locations in the cabins.
Engine and drives
Command is effortless with an Aventics joystick featuring two-station control that precisely manages both the engines and the bowthruster, while a dedicated oil changer serves the engines and generators to streamline maintenance.
