Overview

Introduced as a new Explorer Yacht line in 2022, the second hull of this true six-cabin world cruiser is now offered with a short delivery window from the seasoned builder Aegean Yacht, blending proven craftsmanship with modern expedition capability.

Conceived and engineered entirely in-house by the Aegean team, this go-anywhere Expedition Yacht pairs a steel displacement hull with an aluminum superstructure for assured seakeeping, quiet operation, and confident handling offshore—an ideal Luxury Motor Yacht for extended bluewater passages.

A remarkably efficient general arrangement, especially for her length, delivers up to six guest cabins including three full-beam master suites, welcoming 12 guests in comfort. The standard plan features three near-identical owner cabins (perfect for Charter Yacht use), a VIP double, and two twin cabins, each with ensuite. An alternate layout introduces a generous sky lounge in place of the bridge-deck master, adjusting capacity to 10 while elevating private living space—an attractive option for many Superyacht owners.

The main-deck saloon feels bright and open, thanks to large windows on all sides, and offers relaxed dining for family and friends. A palette of warm oak joinery and parquet flooring, highlighted by stainless accents and crisp white lacquered ceilings, creates an interior that is warm, refined, and quietly sophisticated.

Forward to port, a capacious galley integrates a crew mess and a dedicated crew stair to the lower deck, enabling discreet movement and seamless service that suits long-range cruising or premium charter operations.

Generous exterior decks provide multiple zones for lounging and entertaining: forward on the bridge deck, aft by the sky lounge/mast cabin area, aft of the main saloon on the main deck, and on the expansive swim platform—ideal for water access and casual living at anchor.

Powered by twin MAN 650 hp engines, she reaches close to 13 knots, with an effortless 11-knot cruise. A range exceeding 3,500 nautical miles, abundant storage, and four separate crew cabins make her a compelling Long-Range Cruiser for extended voyages to remote, extraordinary destinations—an elegant, capable explorer with the soul of a true ocean voyager.

Detailed Description

About Aegean Yacht

Founded by Sinan Ozer in 1976, AEGEAN YACHT builds on nearly five decades of craft with production based at two full‑service, seafront boatyards in Bodrum and the Antalya Free Zone in Turkey. Initially dedicated to wooden yacht construction, over the last 20 years the shipyard has focused on refit work as well as new build, full and semi‑custom yachts constructed from steel and aluminum. Since opening its doors, the yard has delivered more than 50 yachts from 20 to 57 m, spanning both sail and power, a testament to enduring quality and capability.

Hull and superstructure

The hull is specified in A and/or AH grade marine steel, while the superstructure is constructed in marine‑grade aluminum, all engineered and built in accordance with CE requirements to ensure strength, safety and long‑term integrity.

Deck equipment

At the fore main deck, two DATA DZC 1400 hydraulic vertical windlasses with rope drums manage ground tackle with authority, working in concert with two stainless steel FOB HHP anchors supplied in accordance with CE rules and two studlink galvanized anchor chains, each 137.5 meters in length, Ø 12.5 mm, fitted with two swivels. Stainless steel bollards and fairleads provide robust handling, while mooring ropes in Ø 24 mm are supplied as two lengths of 80 m and one length of 100 m. Aft, two DATA DHC 1000 hydraulic capstans assist precise docking, complemented by a hydraulic swimming platform for effortless water access. Practicality is completed by fuel and water inlets and a standard sanitary outlet.

Machinery and main propulsion

Power is delivered by two MAN D2676LE425 marine diesel engines, each rated at 650 HP at 2100 rpm in Medium Duty, driving through ZF reverse reduction gears with controls at both the wheelhouse and the aft deck. The propulsion train features two ZF 550‑1A reverse reduction gearboxes with a 2.96:1 ratio, coupled via flexible couplings to stainless‑steel shafts. Two ERIS, or equivalent, well‑balanced manganese bronze propellers are supplied and installed, with propeller shafts in 316L stainless steel or duplex steel of a diameter compliant with CE rules, seamless steel stern tubes and bronze stern glands; bow thrusters are provided as specified. Ship’s power is supported by diesel generators, KOHLER or equivalent brand, 2 x 35 kW, each enclosed in a sound‑insulated canopy and mounted on steel foundations with rubber chocks. GIANNESCHI, or equivalent, pumps are installed to rule, all mounted on rubber chocks and fitted with bypass emergency systems. Fire protection is assured by a fixed and remote‑controlled NOVEC 1230 system for the engine room, installed in full compliance with regulations, with the number and type of detectors according to CE requirements, and the accommodation fitted with an extensive fire detection network with indications at the main fire alarm panel. Underway and zero‑speed stabilizers complete the comfort and safety package.

Accommodation

The owner enjoys a full‑beam master suite on the upper deck, where a large sliding glass door opens onto a private upper aft deck. Guests are welcomed into two additional full‑beam master suites on the main and lower decks, a VIP cabin and two twin cabins, with all accommodations ensuite. The crew is comfortably housed in four single cabins, each with its own bathroom, providing dedicated quarters for 4 crew.

Domestic appliances & galley equipment

The galley is specified for professional service with POLYCOR, or equivalent, acrylic counters and non‑skid ceramic floors, complemented by a coordinated suite of SIEMENS, or equivalent, appliances including a refrigerator/freezer, electric four‑burner cooktop with overhead hood, electric oven and dishwasher.

Navigational electronic equipment

Provided for indication only and fully open to a new owner’s upgrades or changes, the bridge package comprises a SIMRAD GB 12‑inch Glass Bridge display with I‑marine TCBS Class B AIS, a SIMRAD BSM‑1 broadband sounder paired with a SIMRAD B260 1 kW transducer, and a SIMRAD HALO20 radar. Guidance is handled by a SIMRAD AP44 autopilot, with communications via a SIMRAD RS20S VHF radio featuring Class‑D DSC. Charting is by NAVIONICS with Aegean Sea, Black Sea and Mediterranean Sea coverage. Positioning is secured by a SIMRAD HS75 GPS compass. The suite is completed by a FURUNO NX300 NAVTEX receiver and an INTELLIAN i6P SAT TV system.

Description

Having launched the first unit of this new line of explorer yachts in 2022, AEGEAN YACHT now offers hull #2 of this genuine six‑cabin world cruiser with a short delivery time from an experienced builder. Designed and developed entirely in‑house by the Aegean team, this go‑everywhere yacht combines a steel hull with an aluminum superstructure to deliver a stable ride and excellent handling at sea. An intelligently conceived general arrangement and notably generous interior volumes for her length allow up to six guest cabins, including three full‑beam master suites, catering to 12 guests. The standard configuration provides three almost identically sized owner cabins—ideal for charter—a VIP double and two twin‑berthed cabins, all with ensuite facilities. An alternative layout offers a generous sky lounge in place of the bridge‑deck master stateroom, reducing capacity to 10 guests while elevating private relaxation space. The main deck saloon is light and airy thanks to large windows on all sides and offers comfortable dining, while the interplay of warm oak furniture and parquet floors with stainless steel accents and white‑lacquered ceilings creates an interior that is warm, elegant and understated. Forward of the saloon to port, a large galley incorporates a crew mess and a dedicated crew staircase to the lower deck, enabling the team to circulate discreetly and deliver seamless six‑star service. Exterior spaces are equally abundant, with multiple distinct areas for guests to enjoy: on the bridge deck forward, aft of the sky lounge/mast cabin, on the main deck aft of the saloon, and across the expansive swimming platform. Powered by two MAN 650 HP engines, she reaches a maximum speed just shy of 13 kts, with an 11 kts cruising speed, and offers a range of over 3,500 nautical miles. Ample storage and separate individual cabins for the 4 crew make her an ideal platform for extended stays and voyages to remote, singular destinations.
