Detailed Description
Detailed description
A full displacement motor yacht crafted by Benetti, this Classic 120, hull number 120, bears the hallmark of Benetti’s naval architecture with exterior lines by Stefano Righini Design and interiors by Zuretti Design. Delivered in 2009 and comprehensively refitted in 2025, she is ABS (Commercial) classified and built with a GRP hull and superstructure laid with teak decks. Flying the United Kingdom flag, she carries MMSI 232046601 and call sign MNIB7, and is engineered around two MTU 12V 2000 M91 diesel engines rated at 1,119 kW (1,501 Hp) each. With a gross tonnage of 299 and a net tonnage of 89, her approximate displacement is 260 tons at half load, supported by a crew complement of up to seven.
Immaculate proportions define her presence: a length overall of 36.57 metres (120'0"), a length at waterline of 31.48 metres (103'3"), a beam of 7.86 metres (25'9"), and a maximum draft of 2.50 metres (8'2"). Under power she reaches a maximum speed of sixteen knots and cruises comfortably at twelve knots, delivering a range of 3,300 nautical miles at twelve knots. Fuel consumption is impressively efficient for her class, recording 440 litres per hour (116 US gallons) at sixteen knots and 240 litres per hour (63 US gallons) at twelve knots.
She welcomes 10+1 guests in five cabins, supported by a professional crew of seven accommodated in four cabins. Tankage is generous and expedition-ready, with fuel capacity of 43,000 litres (11,359 US gallons), fresh water capacity of 7,700 litres (2,034 US gallons), lube oil and dirty oil tanks of 540 litres each (143 US gallons each), grey water capacity of 1,786 litres (472 US gallons), and black water capacity of 2,974 litres (786 US gallons).
Accommodation is thoughtfully arranged for up to ten guests plus one additional Pullman berth, alongside up to seven crew. The main deck master suite spans the full beam and features a king-size bed (205/190 cm) and an ensuite, while two VIP doubles each offer queen-size beds (195/160 cm) with ensuites. Two twin cabins, both ensuite, are complemented by one Pullman bed for added flexibility. Crew spaces include one captain’s cabin and three crew cabins.
Mechanical systems are comprehensive and recently renewed. The twin MTU 12V 2000 M91 diesels show port engine hours of 4,397 and starboard 4,420 as of 18th August 2025, with a QL4 full engine rebuild completed on both engines during the Winter 2023/24 refit. Electrical generation is provided by two Kohler diesel generators at 80 kW (107 Hp) each, showing port hours of 13,636 and starboard hours of 14,244 as of 18th August 2025, following 10,000-hour rebuilds in 2023. Stabilisation is delivered by NAIAD VTNM 525 Zero Speed units. Climate control comes from six Condaria compressors delivering 144,000 BTU, with all interior fan coils replaced in 2024. A NAIAD hydraulic bow thruster ensures precise manoeuvring, while shaftdrive propulsion turns five-bladed propellers directed through ZF Marine ZF3351 gearboxes. Steering is by two BCS units of 8.6 litres each operating at 78 bar, and the rudder angle is a responsive 35 degrees. Electrical architecture by Cantaloupe is installed to ABS requirements and comprises a 220 VAC, three-phase, 50 Hz system alongside a 24 VDC system. Shore power is conditioned through a 440/220 V New Magnus 80 kVA transformer system. Power storage relies on deep-cycle gel batteries designed for easy maintenance, with Mastervolt chargers upgraded for the main engines and generators in 2025. The monitoring backbone uses two PLCs and two computers on an Ethernet network, complemented by a complete new Praxis Alarm system installed in 2024 to provide data and alarms for diesel generators, electric power, main engines, bilge and tank levels, external doors, batteries, navigation, and miscellaneous alarms. Freshwater autonomy is assured by an Idromar MC9 Duplex water maker delivering 18,000 litres per day (two x 380/hour), refined through an Octo Marine softener. Fuel quality is maintained by Alfa Laval separation and centrifuge units. Black and grey water are treated by Hamann and Ecomar systems, while a Tecma/Jet Jets vacuum toilet system—with pumps rebuilt in 2024—ensures reliable operation.
The bridge is designed as a modern, paperless command centre. An integrated navigation suite presents radar, echo sounder, and chart plotting functions, anchored by a new Wartsila full ECDIS system installed in 2025. Visuals are displayed across three 19" LCD monitors on the bridge (new in 2025), two 8.4" LCD wing monitors (new in 2022), and two 10" LCD touch panel controls. Radar capability includes one Furuno 1954BB at 12 kW with 72 nm range and a 4 ft antenna, augmented by two Sperry 6 ft X-Band radars (new in 2025). Position and data integrity are assured by a Furuno FA-170 AIS (new in 2025), a Furuno GP-170 DGPS, and a Furuno GP-33 GPS (new in 2025), with a Furuno NX-700 Navtex, Furuno log, and Furuno echo sounders—including one Furuno ETR-6—completing the picture. Heading reference comes from a Navigat X MK2 gyro-compass (rebuilt in 2021 and serviced in 2024) and a C-Plath magnetic compass. Conning functions are presented on a Conning Display System with additional conning data on the wings, and the rudder angle is indicated on the Navi-Conning system at the bridge and on the wings. Wind data is provided by a Furuno system (new in 2024), while precise course-keeping is entrusted to a Navipilot 4500N autopilot (new in 2025). Osculati searchlights and a five-camera CCTV system (new in 2024) bolster visibility and situational awareness.
Communications are equally advanced, combining Starlink Maritime with Starlink Roam for robust connectivity. VHF coverage includes one Sailor RT4801 DSC CL D unit and one Furuno VHF, while long-range SSB capability is provided by Sailor.
On deck, heavy-duty ground tackle and handling systems underline her ocean-going intent. Muir windlasses and Muir capstans were overhauled in 2024, and anchoring is secured by two galvanised steel High Holding Power anchors. Seamless access is provided by a seven-step Marquipt Sea Stair side boarding ladder and a telescopic two-stage gangway measuring 4.5 metres with a 600 mm walking width. A single hydraulic transom door opens downward, with rams reconditioned in 2025, revealing a generous swim platform for effortless water access.
Entertainment flows through the yacht via a new centralised Control4 AV system fitted throughout in 2025, integrating televisions and Starlink Maritime for streaming and control. In the main saloon, a 42" Sony OLED TV pairs with a Denon surround sound system and a Sky HD satellite TV receiver. The skylounge is equipped with a 55" Bravia Sony Smart TV in full HD, a Denon surround sound system, a Sky 3D HD satellite TV receiver, and Apple TV. The owner’s suite enjoys a 43" Samsung 4K UHD TV with Denon surround and a Sky HD receiver, while guest cabins are fitted with 28" Sony Bravia LCD TVs in full HD and Sky satellite receivers. The crew mess features a 20" Sharp LCD TV and a Yamaha Hi-Fi system, ensuring the same standards of comfort for the ship’s company.
The galley is professionally appointed with four Miele 90 cm induction hobs (new), a Miele angled stainless steel commercial-style hood with filter (fitted in 2025), and a Miele 90 cm electric oven (new in 2025), supported by a Samsung microwave, Miele dishwasher, and a double stainless steel sink. Cold storage is abundant with a Frigomar fridge/freezer upgraded in 2023 and a new fridge added in 2025, complemented by five mini fridges distributed between the main saloon, skylounge, and sundeck. The sundeck hosts a barbecue and an ice maker. Laundry is handled by two Miele commercial washing machines and two Miele commercial dryers, all new in 2024.
Safety and security have been significantly enhanced with all new life jackets for the crew, a five-camera CCTV system, and new fire-fighting suits with breathing apparatus gear installed in 2024.
Water sports enthusiasts are rewarded with a large inflatable pool measuring 8 metres by 15 metres complete with a jellyfish net, one Sea-Doo Spark jet ski, two Seabob F5 units (new in 2023), and one e-foil board (new in 2024). The inventory continues with one set of water skis, one wakeboard, four stand-up paddle boards (new in 2024), two two-person doughnuts, various fishing gear including children’s sets, and snorkeling gear for ten persons.
Her refit pedigree is outstanding. In 2025 the interior benefited from new saloon carpets and the installation of an all-new AV system and electronics throughout. Between 2022 and 2024, extensive engineering works were completed: a full QL4 rebuild of the main engines down to the block in Winter 2023/24; full stabiliser service including at-anchor stabilisation; full service of the water maker; installation of a new shore power converter and a new power management system; complete overhauls of the aft deck and anchor winches; comprehensive overhauls of all safety pumps for fire and bilge, with the FM200 hydrostatic ten-year test set for 2025–2035; overhauls of all sea water and fresh water pumps; a complete passerelle overhaul; replacement of all air handlers for the air conditioning; a full steering system service; new PTOs for the hydraulics; rewiring of the wing stations; cleaning and repainting of all tanks, including the freshwater tank; installation of a new alarm and tank monitoring system; servicing of fire hydrants and hoses with new hoses added in 2025; and replacement of all fireman equipment. IT and AV infrastructure were replaced wholesale, with new AV and IT hardware unified on the G5 network and tied into Starlink with maritime coverage. Interior upgrades included new quality guest linen and towels, all new guest and crew mattresses, several new sets of china, cutlery, and placemats with all new tableware, fresh interior throw blankets and cushions, a new salon carpet, new artwork, new TVs in 2024, and a new AVIT system.
