Vessel details

Systems aboard DASHER are specified for reliability and purpose. Fresh-water and seawater washdowns stand ready at the rail, while a fresh-water head with a backup raw-water valve ensures simplicity and redundancy. Bilge management is robust with two 2000 GPH bilge pumps backed by a high-water alarm, and electrical reserves come from four AGM batteries—two dedicated to the engines and two for the house. Rod storage is abundant with two in-deck rod lockers, and a cooler integrated beneath the forward helm seat keeps provisions close at hand. Running attitude is fine-tuned by QL Volvo trim tabs, and a central drain system keeps decks clear. Twin Garmin 8215 touch screens sit in a custom overlay flush mount, driving Garmin GPS/WAAS, a Garmin 4' open-array 6 kW radar, a 1 kW transducer, and a second transducer providing SideView/DownView CHIRP, along with a dedicated Garmin bottom sounder.
