Overview
2021 HCB 65' Estrella "Mary Daniela" — Miami to Bimini in Under Two Hours
Plenty of boats will take you there; this one turns the journey into the showpiece. HCB’s 65 Estrella ushered in the mega center-console revolution, and it still defines the category. Her cerulean hull draws every gaze from South Beach to Bimini Bay, while a hardtop-sheltered helm with seating for five and an expansive, yacht-like deck create the perfect stage to host a crowd or wire a blue marlin—sometimes on the same day. A quintet of Yamaha XTO Offshore 425s delivers commanding offshore performance, and a Seakeeper 9 gyro keeps her composed and level whether you’re slicing across the Gulf Stream on a Bimini dash or easing into a secluded Abacos cove. Joystick electric steering paired with integrated bow and stern thrusters makes arrivals and departures—from Bimini Big Game Club to your home berth—confident and effortless. Below, she surprises with true luxury yacht caliber finishes: a private master stateroom with queen berth, spa-inspired glass shower, bespoke high-gloss teak joinery, and a design palette that reads more superyacht than sportfish. Up top, a 49-inch 4K display and a JL Audio suite with twelve speakers and four subs transform sunset cocktails into a cinema. Ready to fish hard, she boasts dual 80-gallon livewells, refrigerated fish boxes with chill plates, twenty-one rod holders, and Gemlux telescoping outriggers—an unapologetic bluewater center console built to conquer the run and the reward.
Detailed Description
Hcb
Command the water aboard the world’s largest center console—the original Mega Center Console Yacht, a category HCB created. Offered at a fraction of new-build cost—comparably optioned new builds run $4–5M with no wait for a build slot—this 65 Estrella delivers quint Yamaha XTO 425 power with 800 hours on each for a combined 2,125 HP, providing reliable outboard performance and the freedom of no diesel engine room. A Seakeeper 9 and joystick docking make her smooth offshore and effortless to run solo, while a full master stateroom confirms true yacht comfort; in pristine, turnkey condition, she is ready to run today.
Built by HCB Center Console Yachts, this 65 Estrella is classed as a center console and constructed in fiberglass with a hand-laid solid bottom, vinylester resin, and Kevlar reinforcement, riding a Deep Vee hull.
Dimensions include an LOA of 65' 0", a beam of 16' 0", and an 18° deadrise at the transom. Dry weight is 60,000 lbs, draft measures 3' 0" with engines up and 4' 0" with engines down, and maximum bridge clearance with top is 12' 0". Capacities comprise 1,730 gal of fuel, 100 gal of fresh water, two 80 gal livewells, and an 18 gal holding tank.
Power comes from five Yamaha XTO Offshore 425 outboards showing 800 hours each, delivering a total of 2,125 HP. Electric steering with joystick control enhances precision, and the engines are finished in the GHOST scheme, white with a black logo. Cruising speed is 30 kn with a 50 kn top end and a 200 nmi range.
The hull and sides wear Sky Blue gelcoat with a matching Sky Blue hardtop underside, complemented by a white T-top frame and upgraded stainless steel bow rails.
In the cockpit, white Sea Ull upholstery with white stitching pairs with teak helm seat ladder backs, a hydro-dipped teak helm pod, a high-gloss teak cockpit countertop with canvas covers as an upgrade, a white rub rail accent, upgraded high-gloss teak covering boards and toe rail, and Permateek Traditional Dark Brown helm flooring with black lines.
Below, the salon features Dazzle Driftwood wall covering, while the master stateroom is finished in Cove Mummy. A pull-down Pullman bunk sits over the cabin settee, and the white Sea Ull upholstery with white stitching continues throughout. Solid-wood cabinetry in high-gloss teak with a white accent line complements high-gloss teak flooring, and white quartz countertops grace the salon and head.
Electronics are extensive and include an electronics mast with an electrically actuated hinge, Garmin AIS, Garmin XM Weather, Garmin autopilot, and a Garmin VHF with handset and remote speaker. Navigation is anchored by three 24-inch Garmin chartplotters paired with a GSD 26 sounder and dual 1 kW Hi/Low CHIRP transducers, and visibility is bolstered by a six-foot 12 kW open-array radar upgraded from 6 kW. Communications and entertainment are handled by a KVH TracPhone V3-HTS and KVH TracVision TV3 satellite TV, while the JL Audio system delivers with six 7.7-inch speakers, six 8.8-inch speakers, and four 10-inch subwoofers. A 24-inch master stateroom TV accompanies a 49-inch 4K LED home theater with a mirror screen and gaming ports.
Purpose-built for angling, the deck is outfitted with dual Frigid Rigid 80 gal baitwells served by two 2000 GPH primary and two 2000 GPH backup pumps, two 160 gal aft fishboxes with insulated lids, and four gunwale-mounted ice chests of 11.5 gal each. Refrigerated chill plates service the port, starboard, and starboard mid-ship fishboxes via a 12 V compressor, while Gemlux 22' telescoping carbon fiber outriggers stand ready. Rod storage includes twelve forward gunwale and nine transom holders, for a total of twenty-one.
Core systems are equally robust, featuring CZone integrated AC/DC electrical control, a Northern Lights 12 kW generator, integrated 24 V proportional bow and stern thrusters, polished stainless trim tabs with dual hydraulic rams, a Seakeeper 9 gyro stabilizer, and a dry bilge system. Hotel comforts include a 6 gal water heater and shore power delivered by a transom-mounted 50 A Glendinning reel with two 50-foot cords. Ground tackle is managed by a windlass with a stainless steel anchor, 35-foot chain, and 500-foot rode with helm, bow, and wireless control. Fresh- and raw-water washdowns feed 25-foot retractable reels at mid-ship, and underwater lighting bathes the scene with full-spectrum LED at the transom and blue LED at midship and the bow.
Seating and accommodations are generous, with five swivel, height-adjustable helm chairs featuring fold-down footrests and teak ladder backs, a five-person forward-facing U-shaped second row, and a four-person mezzanine with port and starboard prep areas. Additional comfort comes from port and starboard transom cooler seats of 28 qt with cushions and backrests and from port and starboard bow loungers with backrests, bringing total seating to eighteen. Overnighting is assured by a master stateroom with a queen berth and a macerating, electric-flush head.
Further refinements include 110 V air conditioning via dual 16,000 BTU units serving cabin and cockpit; cockpit refrigeration with two 2.6 cu ft and two 1.5 cu ft dual-voltage stainless units; a galley with sink, microwave, quartz counters, a 2.6 cu ft fridge, and a 1.5 cu ft freezer; an electric-lift helm dining table; a fiberglass bow table with power lift and filler cushion; and a shower with a tempered glass enclosure and teak grate floor. Boarding and water access are simplified by port and starboard dive doors that open inward, and illumination comes from an ACR100 spotlight and a bow stem light.
Miami. Bimini. The Berries. The Abacos. She's ready when you are.
