Overview

“AUDACIOUS” is a showpiece, presented in pristine Palm Beach–Bristol condition, meticulously maintained from day one. Her first owner split seasons between Michigan and Palm Beach, keeping her lightly used and stored.

The current owner acquired her in October 2021 and, in November 2023, installed four later-model Seven Marine 627 SV outboards, perfectly matched to the 47’ Panacea’s length and displacement for efficient performance.

“AUDACIOUS” delivers luxury center console versatility with seating for fifteen, an enlarged cabin with galley and head, a custom oversized hardtop, dive door, bespoke electronics, generator, and Seakeeper stabilization—an exceptional offshore performance dayboat, sport yacht, and cruiser platform for bluewater cruising, fishing, and tender duty.

Detailed Description

Construction

Crafted with purpose and presence, this custom 475 open aluminum arch with T‑top is finished in durable powder‑coated aluminum and framed by a custom hard glass windshield enclosure with three panels for confident protection underway. The helm is anchored by custom captain’s chairs with foldable footrests, while the color palette is impeccably curated: a White/White base boat gelcoat, an Imron Holland Blue accent stripe, and crisp White exterior upholstery lifted by a refined Navy accent. Underfoot, real teak and holly enrich the cabin while high‑end synthetic decking keeps the exterior elegantly practical. Thoughtful touches abound: a custom sun pad over the cabin forward of the console with a forward‑facing seat, a custom removable bow sunshade, a clean boot stripe and accent pinstripe, and a hull‑side dive door that swings in with a fold‑out ladder. Daily functionality is equally considered with an engine cover, a cockpit coaming bolster, and custom fiberglass folding entry footsteps tucked neatly under the gunwale. Ground tackle is premium, with a 33 lb polished stainless steel Lewmar claw anchor secured in an anchor locker complete with freshwater wash‑down, while a custom console with a forward seat sets the tone for sociable passages. Practical detailing includes eight fender clips, five tulip rods under the aft hardtop, a helm cover, two glove boxes at the helm, and four drink holders at the helm. Storage and access are abundant with eleven deck hatches; two custom fiberglass under‑gunwale tilt‑out coolers; two under‑gunwale tilt‑out trash cans; and six Mate Series rod‑cup holders in the gunwales, complemented by a custom five‑tulip rod holder beneath the aft hardtop and a custom fiberglass‑molded cutting board station with recessed teak. The deck fill plate is diesel, 2", and a pop‑up dive door that swings in on the starboard side sits near a dock‑side water pressure regulator. A full‑beam rear bench seat removes easily and is 22" deep, while boarding is effortless via a Garelick model 19700 Compact Ez‑In transom ladder to port. Forward, the bow seating features a high/low table with filler cushion whose hydraulic assembly was rebuilt in November 2021. Handling alongside is assured with hawse pipes and under‑deck mooring cleats mid‑ship and forward, and comfort is elevated by a hot/cold transom shower behind the dive door and a triple aft‑facing helm seat with cooler. Systems capacity is generous, with waste at 25 gallons (94.64 liters) and a water heater at 16 gallons (56.78 liters).

Cabin

Below, the cabin invites with a V‑berth table that lowers to create a spacious berth using a filler cushion, set over classic Teak and Holly flooring and framed by warm wood‑veneered cabinetry. Everyday usability is elevated by solid‑surface countertops in both the galley and the head compartment, while cold‑storage confidence comes from a new Indel/Isotherm DR130 refrigerator installed in November 2022.

Electrical

The yacht’s electrical and auxiliary systems have been curated for robust, quiet confidence: a Seakeeper gyro with all components and lines rebuilt in 2021; shore power at 125V/30A/60Hz with a 50' shore‑power cord; and a diesel Fischer Panda 4200 PMS generator rated at 3.6 kW, 120 volts, 60 Hz, serial C02‑097‑097, whose water pump, thermostat, and panel were replaced in 2023 with service up to date. Precision maneuvers are assured by a Vetus BOW9524D bow thruster with unit and prop replaced in 2021, and ground tackle is handled by a Muir electric anchor windlass whose foot pedals, components, and wash‑down hose were also replaced in 2021. Safety and comfort are built in with a carbon monoxide monitor, an electric head with holding tank and overboard discharge, an electric stove top, an electric water heater, one electric ball valve for the fish box, an icemaker, and two multi‑color underwater lights, one each side. Power reserves are substantial, with four North Star Engines/Generator 31 batteries (p/n NSB‑AGM31, 1370 MCA, 101AH at 20 hrs.), and all batteries—house, motor, generator, and bow thruster—were replaced in 2021. Charging and control are handled by a battery charger, Blue Seas battery switches and control panels, and two engine/house chargers by Minn Kota (MK460PC, four by 15 amps each, 120 amps total), plus a windlass/thruster charger by Minn Kota (MK230PC, two by 15 amps continuous). Trim is crisp via stainless steel Bennett XTP Series tabs, helm authority comes from two ZF Marine 5200 Mini Command throttles replaced in November 2022 and a ZF Marine joystick, and onboard climate is managed by Dometic systems (1010037‑EZ and Marine Air VTD16K‑410A at 16,000 BTU). Pumping is specified for reliability: fresh water Whale UF1815; raw water Whale UF1815; two aft bilge pumps by Rule at 3700 gph; two forward bilge pumps by Rule at 2000 gph; a Whale waste macerator/toilet pump; a Rule shower pump system managing both shower and A/C condensate at 500 gph; two cabin bilge pumps by Rule at 2000 gph; and a Whale fishbox macerator (Gulper Grouper). Interior comforts and navigational certainty are rounded out by a Frigidaire FFCM0734LS microwave oven, a Nautica Boiler B36012SL water heater, a Ritchie SS‑2000 compass, and a Muir 1350 windlass rated at 24 volts and 1200 watts.

Engines

Power comes from four Seven Marine 627 SV outboards, custom‑painted to match the Intrepid hull specification colors, with all engines replaced in November 2023 by Seven Ocean Services under the care of Alex Nomer, the expert service company for Seven Marine. Hours as of 05/12/25 are accurately documented: Port, serial A1112109, year 2020, 392 hours; Center Port, serial 7RD118390446, year 2018, 187 hours; Center Starboard, serial 7RD118390447, year 2018, 89 hours; and Starboard, serial A1112110, year 2020, 89 hours.

Electronics

Command and control are delivered through three 19" Garmin radar/plotter displays, including one unit new in 2021, supported by Garmin depth and speed gauges and enhanced nighttime awareness via FLIR. Communications are handled by an Icom HM.195 B VHF, with audio delivered through JL Audio speakers, while Lumishore underwater lights set the mood at anchor. Illumination is ample thanks to four LED spreader lights—two on the forward corners of the top and two on the aft corners—plus mini LED spreader lights on the aft hardtop, and breakers are conveniently placed at the helm. Engine health and vessel status are tracked by the Seven Marine engine monitoring system, a Rule water alarm, and a Fireboy alarm. Close‑quarters control is refined with two new ZF bow thruster controls (2021), two electric controls, Mercury trim control for single or all engines, and Bennett trim tabs. Safety is reinforced offshore with an ACR EPIRB operating on the 406 MHz satellite network, while high‑water protection comes from a Rule system with super switches fore and aft.

Recent updates

Meticulous stewardship is evident throughout. In 2025 the ZF controls were completely refurbished with updated software in December, a new fresh‑water pump was installed in December, the 627 SV dual‑prop engines received their 100‑hour service on August 18th, the bottom was painted in August, paint was touched up in August, the hull and top decks were ceramic‑waxed in August, new bow cushions were fitted in August, various hatch seals were refreshed, the air horn was repaired, and new Garmin GPS controller boxes were added. Mechanical

Mechanical systems are specified for performance and longevity: two new ZF throttle controls were installed in November 2021; an engine flush system simplifies care; cabin air conditioning keeps the interior temperate; the electric head is fed by freshwater; raw‑water wash‑down is on tap; and a sea chest with pressurized system and double pump underpins reliable circulation. Daily use delights include a transom shower with hot and cold water, while thrust meets the water through Mercury Maximus dual props sized 16x26. New in 2021, the windlass was complemented by two North Star 31 batteries (p/n NSB‑AGM31) rated at 13070 MCA (101AH at 20 hrs.). Steering was upgraded in 2023 with four Latham custom cylinders by Seven Marine (KPMP‑8267), trim authority is bolstered by four Latham Marine engine trim pumps (KPMP‑0101), and fueling is stabilized by four Carter fuel lift pumps (P4601HP). The head is by Raritan with freshwater supply—Atlantes Vortex AVHWSO1200—and generator fuel is protected by a Racor 10‑micron diesel filter.
